Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. The clothes are super cute, they're always rotating through different pieces and they have a great variety. The quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The jewelry options are also great. Lots of different pieces and every time there's something new. But truly the highlight is the women who work here. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. They are helpful but also do a great job of "reading the room" and knowing if you are looking for more attention or just good on your own. Of course we had to check it out! It's located in between Victory MMA & Fitness and GuilTea Cravings on Clairemont Mesa Blvd in Clairemont. There's a huge parking lot with ample parking spaces around. My boyfriend and I were just browsing around the area and the first thing I noticed was the variety packs of Noms, a fun gummy bear snack with a mixture of flavors. It's apparently become very popular since we left the islands, and I've been seeing it more and more often. There were also other great snack options such as li hing snacks and crack seeds, taro chips, etc. There were also a lot of local food mixes such as Hawaiian curry, Adobo, etc. Besides food, there was a section of jewelry, clothes, flasks, etc. A huge variety of items here! We definitely don't need to go back home to get these things as now we know there's an option in San Diego, haha! The owner mentioned that if there were some things missing, we can make a request for them to try get the item. Amazing! Will be bringing my non-Hawaii friends here in the future!
