-- Good drinks, friendly service, but restroom cleanliness needs attention I stopped by Boba Lust in Federal Way and really enjoyed my drink -- fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. However, the public restroom was in poor condition during my visit (dirty surfaces, visible stains, and general neglect). While restrooms aren't the main reason people come here, they can be a reflection of overall cleanliness standards. If the same level of care was applied to the restroom as to the drinks and customer service, this place could easily be a 5-star stop. Great product, great people -- but I hope management makes cleanliness a higher priority.
I got the jasmine milk tea with regular sugar, regular ice, Boba, and rainbow jelly. First off the drink tasted like water with sugar. It had no flavor and the boba were hard and undercooked, and also had no flavor. This is the second time I try this place. Just go to happy lemon across the street. It's way better and same price.
Had a great Yelp elite experience here. The menu is extensive and lots of great choices. You can customize the drink as well. I got the Thai green milk tea with lychee jelly. The drinks were made great and tasted good. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is some seating in the boba shop. There is a good amount of parking in the complex as well. I would come to this boba shop again and highly recommend these guys.
It was our first time at BobaLust last night! We were in the area and craving milk tea and found this spot on Yelp. We ordered the cuddles on the beach smoothie and OG milk tea with boba. My milk tea was great, I liked how you could actually taste the tea. I got it with 50% sugar so it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. The boba wasn't the best, it was kind of hard. The smoothie was good but way too sweet for me - the good thing about this place is that you can adjust the sweetness and ice level to your liking. For service, you order at the counter and they'll call your number when your order is ready. There's a lot of space inside but not many tables (maybe 3 or 4?) so it's definitely more a grab and go spot!
Not sure what all the lust is about. Dark, small emtpy container vibe. No seating has not a hangout, just to-go. Waited a moment for an employee to pop out. Tea was undrinkably sweet. Common concoctions makes this a lackluster spot.
New location near my parents house!! I've gone to the closes one every time I'm in Washington. My entire family is obsessed with this place. Wishing there was one near my home in AZ. I will always come here. Good for any time of day. Friendly staff and the selection is amazing. Try my favorite blended taro with lychee boba and lychee jelly
Delicious tasting blended teas and smoothies. New and clean Boba Tea place with mediocre customer service and undercooked boba. The flavor of my Honeydew was strong. Four stars because I've had softer Boba at other establishments. The Purple Galaxy was like every Taro smoothie it was flavorful and tasty.
In Hawaii, I had my go-to boba place & I'm in the hunt for a new one since moving here. The boba itself was actually pretty good & very satisfying. I really liked the lychee bomb & how they put real f ruin in it. It actually hit all the right spots. The service that was provided was exceptional, she was very kind & quick. I liked how the inside has the neon signs and the ambiance was great. The flavors they had & the combos isn't something I've seen so often so kudos for that.
Who doesn't love bubble tea? After a very filling meal me and my friends went to check out bobalust because we heard it was really tasty. I guess they have one in southcenter? But this new location opened up in federal way. Tried the signature slushie drinks and they were sooooooo good. The jelly's are super flavorful! I do want to say I got a jasmine milk tea at first with crystal boba and i kinda hated it lol. So I asked to switch my drink out and the workers let me change it at no cost! Super nice of them!
I really enjoy a good taro honey boba slushie and BobaLust delivers just that! This was my first time at this location, but I have been to another before and I am happy to report they share the same consistency with delicious drinks! This location is quite open and has two tables to sit at, so if you're lucky you might be able to find a seat. Otherwise the service from the cashier was nice and I got my drink pretty quickly, so all in all a really great experience
Stopped here after eating dinner in the area and was immediately surprised by how plain and uninviting it felt inside. The walls were grey and there wasn't much in the way of decoration, except for the neon sign that said "all you need is love and lust." There's a good mix of drinks on the menu, both teas and slushes, and I ordered a Sunburst. It took quite a while for my drink to be ready, and there weren't that many people ahead of me waiting. It looked like there were only two people working, so maybe it was a staffing issue? The drink was pretty in color, tasted overall ok but it was super sweet. I'm not sure if there's the option to modify the sweetness but if there was, it wasn't offered. I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to return here but if I was in the area again, I might try something else here.
Came in for the Yelp Elite event, fully confident I had RSVPd...and guess what? Your girl wasn't on the list -_- but guess what? Owner/manager was amazing enough to let me participate so that was super kind. It speaks volumes of the quality of the staff. I've had their drinks at this location before so I know the quality is good already. I got the purple galaxy with coffee lychee (Elite drink) and my husband got a tea drink with clear boba. The place was definitely packed at 9:30 PM so...come early y'all.
I ordered the Lychee Strawberry slushy drink. It came with lychee and strawberries and was very refreshing. They have a a variety of different drinks such as milk teas, milky shakes and slushies. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Location is next to the Trader Joes. Overall, the slushy was tasty. read more

late post: dropped by while I was in the area, been to another location and really liked their drinks. ordered Jasmine green tea and taro - both milk teas. I listed pricing in photo as well Jasmine green milk tea ($4.50) and crystal boba ($0.75) and grass jelly ($0.50). Taro milk tea with grass jelly and egg pudding ($0.50). Lots of parking and we dropped by during their halloween decor. The only thing i didn't appreciate was there is a charge for no ice or less ice. Something i do notice a few boba place either tell you they cannot do no ice, or they simply make your drink and in compensation for lesser ratio in the cup, there is lesser drink (with less and or no ice). I was taken by surprise by the bill as the cashier did not explain about the additional charge, wasn't transparent when we asked. It's ok it is not a large amount of money but I just thought it would have been courteous to say "oh that'll be extra charge, is that ok?" or something along those lines so you'd recognize it. read more
I certainly appreciate a boba spot that has the option of excluding sugar. Yes, i'm a wimp; I think too much sugar in milk boba makes me feel terrible afterwards. The honey boba balls are already sweet so why add more? Anyway, I got the milk green tea and it was refreshing; it was a good compliment to a hot early afternoon weather. Staff is friendly and illustrates all the options available for your order. Roomy environment and not too loud. Not much decor but who goes to a boba joint for interior design. I'd come back again soon! read more

I had a great experience here with Ty who helped us get a Strawberry and a Jasmine Milk Tea. Would definitely recommend this place. Plenty of room and spacious interior with two tables to sit. Will be back! read more

I enjoyed visiting Boba Lust when I was in Washington. The shop interior was trying hard to be cool lol. It was dark and had a sign that said Boba Lust that looked like it was meant to be Instagramable. I went outside the norm for me and got a fruity tea drink. It was the Blue Lagoon which has blue curacao, lychee, green tea and mango jelly. It was sweet and refreshing,If I'm back in the area, I would come back here. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate coming here for a refreshing drink. read more

First time here & it was empty. Service was fast but the cashier was not friendly at all, which was fine. Their teas & slushee were ok, not too sweet for me. The smoothie were pretty good. But their cup sizes are not as big as Sharetea. Also, you can't choose the sweetness level & they charge extra .75$ for no ice. read more
I am soooo happy that Bobalust is now close to my home! They have all the same options as their other location. Sooo many to pick from. The place is clean and staff are super friendly. The drinks all are amazing! Only wish they had larger options. Maybe a 48oz! Lol I can't get enough of these drinks. My friends and I each got a new drink this time and almost didn't make it out of the parking lot with a drink. We could not put our drinks down. They were soooooo good!! read more

First time here. The vibe was great. There were only 2 tables available to sit, but usually everyone just comes in and buys drinks anyway. The taro is my favorite and I love how the lychee jelly is available. Today when we were there, they were not too busy, and our drink came out around 5 minutes after ordering. The surrounding area is great, this is right next to Trader Joes so we went shopping right after! read more

I brought my friends to the new location in federal way that owner Victor told me about. Although one lives in Tacoma, and the other in maple valley, we normally frequent the Kent location or tukwila. But we were impressed by this new location. Although the Trader Joe's line was out the door and blocking the door to bobalust(annoying btw...TJs needs to fix that problem.) the young man(I forgot his name, I met him at tukwila location), came to greet me at the door because he literally just opened the store up. They open at 2pm fir now. Always check for store hours because it can change. Yes, during this time mask are required. Victor has some really good team members because this guy is always over the top, and he remembers me from when I would visit the tukwila location, and it's been over a year since I've been there. They gave the same great drink, but the plus side of this location during a hot day like today, is they have indoor seating but only two tables, and they have AC! It was so relaxing for the five of us to sit and enjoy our drinks before driving our separate ways. Thanks Bobalust for making my friends always feel welcomed. read more

Finally there's a Bobalust near our area! We use to drive all the way to Tukwila to get some Bobalust. So I'm grateful we have one that's literally minutes away. This is by far the biggest Bobalust I've seen , it's so clean, neat & very modern inside which I love! The bobaristas are so friendly and very quick with our orders! Me , my husband & my friends have enjoyed every single drink we ordered from here, literally made perfect each time! read more

The menu is user friendly and everything is either blended or on ice. Hot drinks people can kick rocks unless they're willing to give these flavors a try. Best stop before a long road trip so live in lust! read more
