I miss the old location across from UT Tyler, but coming to the mall for boba is totally worth it! Their tofu meals have always been incredible, and it is typically hard to find good tofu in Tyler. I tried it once before (made by my friend), and the one at this restaurant was a little underwhelming for me. The meat was too fatty for my taste. I also wish it came with some vegetables. I ordered the Rose Tea with honey boba. The honey boba is free with any drink. The tea was decently flavorful, but I found the drink itself to be too sweet to finish. If I go back I will definitely ask for half the amount of sugar. The drink menu has plenty of options - teas, milk teas, smoothies, and blended creams. The drinks have a generous amount of boba, but I found the consistency of the boba to be softer than I prefer. Just based on my one visit, I'd say this would be a below average boba place in a city or large suburb, but it is the only one in Tyler so it can get away with being what it is. I might give it another chance and return to try the lavender blended creme or the avocado smoothie if I'm really in the mood for boba again, but I'm not in any hurry. read more

Today I got the matcha green milk tea and it is more bitter than vinegar! What happened to y'all's sweetener? And there's clumps of matcha in it, as if it wasn't mixed properly. My first experience was really nice, quick service (they have a self serve kiosk, which is cool) and good drink (Vanilla Chai Milk Tea w Honey Boba and regularly sweetened). This is my favorite place to go in Tyler!! I visit this place at least once a week. Jasmine green tea is awesome. The boba is always a good consistency. I would recommend getting your drink with light ice because sometimes there is way too much. The smoothies here are amazing (strawberry is my favorite ). I'm originally from Dallas, and there are quite a few boba places there. But bobaloompia is by far the best boba place I've ever been to! I wish they would expand it to Dallas! I always get the piña colada smoothie and sometimes I add strawberry to it. The matcha green tea smoothie is also great! We tried the spicy coconut wings (depending on your tolerance for hotness - i think it is already spicy but my husband said not enough spiciness) , pancit canton (my mom's favorite -she said just like how i make it at home), crispy pork belly that is so crispy on the outside but melts in your mouth, pork barbecue skewers (My FAVORITE, yes all caps for intense emphasis) everything ordered with garlic rice. We also tried the pork lumpia and it is very fresh and on point. The pork siopao is so soft and so good, perfect snack for anytime munchies. As for the drinks, my husband gives the highest approval for the green tea with lychee and honey boba. He couldn't get enough of it. My mom loves the avocado smoothie with honey boba. My husband also loves the Halo-halo and declares his new love affair with this Filipino Dessert. Of course i had to try the Turon (banana fritters with jackfruit strips deep fried and drizzled with chocolate sauce) with vanilla ice cream, and let me tell you, it brings me back home. With a stage ready for Karaoke, It makes you feel like you are in a potluck party with family and friends. The restaurant is clean and organized and offers computerized ordering system for quicker service. Definitely will come back and try their other seasonal meals and their vast array of Boba drinks.
