5 Stars - Korean Fried Chicken, Boba, and a Surprise Lesson About Crystal Pearls…read more This was my second visit, and I was so excited to dig in that I completely forgot to take photos before eating. By the time I remembered, I had already finished most of the chicken and drank over half of my matcha milk tea! On my first visit, I tried the taro milk tea and loved it. This time, I ordered a matcha milk tea with bubbles at 30% sugar, along with a pineapple mojito (non-alcoholic) with crystal pearls. The matcha was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The 30% sugar level was perfect for letting the matcha flavor shine. The pineapple mojito was refreshing, light, and sparkling. It was also my first experience trying crystal pearls. My initial reaction was that I didn't like them because they're smaller and firmer than traditional boba pearls. They almost reminded me of boba that wasn't cooked quite long enough. But the more I drank, the more I appreciated them. In a cold, sparkling drink, they actually work really well. The pearls add a little surprise after each sip and give you something to chew, making the drink last longer and feel more interactive. Now for the star of the show: the Korean fried chicken. As someone who is mostly pescatarian, I've been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while, and this was a great introduction. I ordered the 10-piece wings with sauces on the side, choosing Soy Garlic and Secret Spicy. The wings were huge, meaty, and incredibly crispy. The Soy Garlic had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors. The Secret Spicy wasn't particularly spicy to me. I'd probably rename it Secret Sweet because that's the flavor profile that stood out most. What really impressed me was how well the chicken reheated. A quick trip through the air fryer made it even crispier than when I first brought it home. That's a rare quality in takeout fried chicken. If you're looking for a place that offers both excellent drinks and seriously satisfying Korean fried chicken, this spot is worth a visit. Whether you're a boba enthusiast, a fried chicken lover, or someone like me who enjoys trying new flavors and textures, you'll likely find something that keeps you coming back. I know I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.

The front is a bit chaotic with all the supplies in full display along with lots of random toys and snacks for sale. Fortunately there's an upstairs that's more calming. I probably wouldn't have ordered anything if I knew this was going to be the case. But because the kiosks are right as you walk in, you don't know this until after. I ordered the strawberry coconut latte with coffee jelly. Drink was amazing. Honestly disappointed when they called for me to get my drink, no one made eye contact or said thank you. I feel like to make people feel good about coming in, maybe a little interaction would make it a better experience. I honestly don't think I'll be back in and this was my first time in probably over a year possibly more. I recall it being more welcoming and friendlier.

I will say it was more expensive than expected, but the quality of both the drink and bowl were great! The ordering system via kiosk was pretty easy to use and the items came out quite fast. I did reduce the sweetness on the mango pomelo sago and it was perfect. It had some pulp in it to too which was a great addition to the sago. You can tell that the drink itself was fresh and didnt use artificial powders. For the shrimp bowl, wow this hit the spot! the shrimp was plump and tender. I am excited to try out the bowls that they have!

Each sip had a smooth balance of bold flavor and warmth that made it truly satisfying. Those home made croffles complemented the coffee wonderfully. I've walked by Good Vibes Cafe many times and was able to stop in and so glad I did! I got a large iced french toast latte and a strawberry croffle and both were so good! The French Toast Latte was good and a good balance of coffee and flavor. The croffle was great and wasn't overly sweet which I prefer especially early in the morning lol. The strawberries were fresh and delicious and I love that they offer dairy free options and not just in their milk but the whip that goes with the croffle is dairy free. The vibe is comfy and cosy! They're located on the 2nd floor and have plenty of space to sit and offer books to read and games to play. I'm glad they're close to where I work and will be back to try their other latte flavors!

So I whipped out my trusty sidekick: GOOGLE! (Cue superhero theme music.) I asked Google to find me drinks nearby, and, as always, it came through like the magical genie it is. Five minutes later, I was pulling up to Tiger Sugar, hydration hero, reporting for duty! When I arrived, I scored a parking spot right in front, already winning! Only one person stood between me and my thirst, but let's be real: I'm so indecisive, I probably gave them time to finish their order and contemplate the meaning of life. I circled that menu like a vulture with commitment issues, but thankfully, the super-friendly lady behind the counter came to my rescue and steered me toward the passion fruit black tea. One sip, and it was a full-blown dance party in my mouth. I'm talking conga lines, disco balls, the works! This drink checked every box, though it was a bit on the sweet side, so next time I'll dial it down a notch. Not that I'm adventurous, I'm absolutely ordering the same thing on my next visit. Change is scary, okay? Go check them out. It's worth the drive to the Greenwood area.
