    Best Boba
    Ethan G.

My first boba experience was here and I've loved it ever since. This will always be my favorite place to get some and I try to go as much as possible. I've been many times since the first time last year and I plan on going forever. I've gotten friends and family to try it too and they've all loved it just as much as I do. Please make sure to tell Benny all of this as he has always given the best service and a good boba. Thx u!

This is a pretty simple, straightforward bubble tea joint inside of Viet Hua on the south side. For it's simplicity, it's surprisingly good. I would probably give it a 4.5, but I'll round up. Tip: you might want to buy groceries at Viet Hua first. I believe if you purchase enough, you get a coupon to redeem here.

The menu at Yabarr Tea exclaims "Believe, Best, We are!" Reader: I believed, and they are. It helps that your options for boba in Greenwood are limited -- most search results require venturing further north, so having something within a leisurely distance in great. Proximity is not the only consideration for this rating, though. The flavors of the teas we had (jasmine and strawberry) were excellent, and the texture of both the milk tea and the boba were just right. Stopping in also gave us the opportunity to do some light shopping in the grocery market Yabarr Tea is located in, which is a fun plus. Altogether our visit was a delight, highly recommended!

So I whipped out my trusty sidekick: GOOGLE! (Cue superhero theme music.) I asked Google to find me drinks nearby, and, as always, it came through like the magical genie it is. Five minutes later, I was pulling up to Tiger Sugar, hydration hero, reporting for duty! When I arrived, I scored a parking spot right in front, already winning! Only one person stood between me and my thirst, but let's be real: I'm so indecisive, I probably gave them time to finish their order and contemplate the meaning of life. I circled that menu like a vulture with commitment issues, but thankfully, the super-friendly lady behind the counter came to my rescue and steered me toward the passion fruit black tea. One sip, and it was a full-blown dance party in my mouth. I'm talking conga lines, disco balls, the works! This drink checked every box, though it was a bit on the sweet side, so next time I'll dial it down a notch. Not that I'm adventurous, I'm absolutely ordering the same thing on my next visit. Change is scary, okay? Go check them out. It's worth the drive to the Greenwood area.

I ordered a pineapple coconut shake, without the boba. The staff was very friendly. It took about 7 minutes for them to prepare my shake. I was pleased with my treat. It was delicious and refreshing. My friend had been telling me about her favorite bubble tea spot for months, and when we finally went, I was so happy to see they also have custom poke and sushi burritos and delicious onigiri options. The inside is super cute and was very clean when we went. Service is quick and unfussy, so this would be a great option if you need to pick up a to go order, but it's also a nice spot to stop for a quick lunch break. It's cozy and quiet so could even be a good place to work or study if you're looking off the beaten path on Mass Ave. Aside from the onigiri, most of the food is totally custom and made to order, so you can really get whatever you want. You order on a paper menu like at a sushi restaurant, picking exactly what you like--and honestly, you can go wild here. For the base price of $11.50 (for burritos and bowls), you pick your base, protein, up to two sauces, and then add as many of the mix-ins and toppings as you want. A steal, imo! There are several ways to make this vegetarian (I got tofu), and it could be gluten free, too, if you're careful about sauces. I ordered my burrito and a peach black tea with aloe jelly. Now I can't stop dreaming of the tea, either. Will be back asap. This is better than LA!
