I came here after my mom told me she visited a few month prior when she said Bobaboba was brand new. We went to visit after visiting the Hulk Hogan shop right below. As soon as we walked in I noticed how clean it was. I ordered a Taro boba tea and a Pandan waffle. The tea was good but the waffle was the star of the visit. When the guy at the register started making the waffle the whole shop was filled with this beautiful, yummy smell. I knew it was going to be good. he gave it to me warm and I had to take a bite right away. It has a mochi texture which I love and was not too sweet which was amazing. So, for the longest time I've heard of this place, and I feared the worst and frequently lamented not coming here sooner when I heard Helene and Milton hit Clearwater Beach...Thank goodness it still stood even in-spite of that. So, environment wise it's quaint, and they got pretty much one person running the joint which is impressive given the quality of all this. Granted, the snack products tend to take a little long, but as I said; One guy...And the wait was definitely worth it for the most part. I started the Brown Sugar Milk Tea; I thought that was basically Thai boba tea based on the menu picture, but I guess I was wrong. Still, it was sweet enough to be good and the boba was of good quality. I honestly cannot complain there! It's not easy finding a good boba tea place in West Florida so truthfully it was a nice palette cleanse to the things I've had at Clearwater Beach. Next I tried the Coconut Pandan Mochi Waffle, First off, finding anything containing Pandan is super rare in the East Coast, especially in Florida, so this was a great find. Taste wise? Oh man it hit exactly how I wanted to; Sweet, toasty, and almost melt-in-your-mouth. I definitely wish they had pineapple cream on the side for this but hey, just being able to eat Pandan in Florida is a dream come true. One thing that kinda threw me off was how different the end product looked compared to what was shown on the menu in regard to the milk teas; I will admit showing pictures tend to be a yellow flag for any restaurant or cafe, as it risks setting expectations too high, like I did with my drink. Amazing place to grab some boba at Clerwater Beach. This place is really close to most of the action. My husband and I were staying at the Hyatt Regency and wanted to walk up and down Mandalay Ave. It's on the second floor, so you have to be looking for it, but it's definitely worth checking out. Inside is really cute and clean. There are tons of tables to sit at and there's touch screens to make it easy to order. I got a Mango Matcha Swirl with boba and oat milk. It was seriously delicious. I'm not a fan of really sweet things so I was a little worried about the cake batter swirl, but it gave it the perfect amount of sweetness in my opinion. It was decadent without being overwhelming. Also a random thing to note, but the cups feel very sturdy. They seem like good quality, really easy to grip so you can easily take it to go. It's a cute little boba shop. The staff were very friendly. We were the only ones in the shop and one group came afterwards, so it was pretty quiet. There was also a happy hour special going on, 15% off between 5-7 PM. The brown sugar milk was really good. I've had so many different styles and they definitely have one of the better ones. Recommend if you like sweet drinks. The brûlée Thai milk tea, I wouldn't recommend. It was very watery with a a quick bad aftertaste, which went away quickly. It was a little sad, especially how pretty the drink looked. Cute place right next to the beach. We came on a stormy day and later at night, but next time we're in town, would definitely grab a drink and walk around the beach. read more

Prices are what you would expect for the Clearwater. Good variety. One size as far as I could tell which I don't mind. We had the honey lemon, passion fruit, and brown sugar. Brown sugar was the clear winner. Passion fruit was good with real passion fruit seeds. Honey lemon was a bit too sour. Should have done 100% sugar. Heard about this new boba tea spot along the beach so came to check it out. I had the Mango Green Tea with mango popping boba, and it was so refreshing and I could taste bits and pieces of real mango! Like wow! Tastes so freaking fresh! My friend got the Mangonada, which is a mango slush with sweet, sour, spicy sauce. I also really liked that one too. You can even customize your sweetness and ice level to your liking. I just got the regular level for both. The boba shop is modern and sleek, with plenty of seatings available for my friends to chill from the heat. Service was also super prompt and friendly. The server gave me recs depending on what I was looking for, and it did not disappoint! There was also mango shaved ice on the menu, def have to check it out next time! It's located on the second floor of the walking plaza. There's a parking garage connected to it but we came walking from the beach. I came for a quick stop to taste their Taro Slush with Cake Batter swirl. IT WAS AMAZING. The slush was perfectly sweet with the creamy cake batter. I did not get the name of the young lady who served me but she was fast and efficient. The ambiance was clean and simple.
