I realize that the pocket has two other Boba spots (both very good in different ways), but this is the first one I've been to that felt like it was designed for people to sit and hang out. The interior is larger than the other two boba shops combined, with plenty of tables and even a couch to chill and enjoy your drinks. There were even a few board games available to play! The "Meet Up" part of the name certainly seems to be in effect here. My go to at any boba place is a milk tea with coffee jelly, as lightly sweetened as possible. I went with the 25% sweet option here and the sweetness level was PERFECT. I had a great conversation with the dude working here (went by "B") regarding the balance of the tea sweetness and added ingredients that also have sugar. The earl gray they used might be the best i've had, with a very rich flavor and a hint of lemon? I feel like each shop in the pocket has a thing they excel at, and Meet Up might take the position for best basic milk tea. It was VERY good. My wife got the coconut milk tea in spite not normally liking coconut drinks, and it was also very good. The boba consistency was perfect, and the 50% sweetness level wasn't nearly as cloying as it can be at other boba shops. All in all we were impressed with the friendly staff member, the super fast service, the welcoming interior, and delicious drinks. I'll update this review when we've had a chance to try out food and other types of drinks on our next visit. Update: We tried out the popcorn chicken and french fries today, and enjoyed both! The popcorn chicken was super crunchy and well-seasoned. The fries were standard fare, but were also cooked and salted well to make up for a lack of seasoning. A single order each of chicken and french fries was plenty to feed my wife and I for lunch!

So glad Boba Meet Up opened. It's a great addition to the neighborhood! We ordered the Oreo milkshake and the brown sugar milk tea, and both were delicious. We also tried their popcorn chicken. It was very crispy and crunchy, the flavoring was on perfect. You can pick up to go containers of extra seasoning like pepper or sauce at the counter. The decor is so cute, clean, bright, and cozy. It's the kind of spot you want to hang out in for a while. Definitely excited to have this place nearby. Can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks.

I came over here to this local Boba Café. That's conveniently located in my neighborhood. I love the decor throughout the café. I had to take the opportunity of doing a whole selfie session while waiting for my Vietnamese coffee to be prepared. By the way, that was the smoothest Vietnamese coffee I've ever had. It for sure provided the caffeine I needed, but I didn't have the jitters and it was just right. I highly recommend coming in here because it's such a cute little vibe. It's a great little meet up spot and the staff are very friendly.

Pretty large location next door to Dim Dim foods. Some cool photo shoot decor and good drinks. Nothing really stood out on the menu this place has a lot of competition nearby. The large interior space to sit and chat might save them.

First timer. Came here for boba since we were in the shopping plaza. Cute decors and photo opts inside. Very quiet inside as we were the only two before another customer came in after we ordered. Ordered a few regular milk tea with and without boba plus a honeydew with jelly and boba. You could really taste the honeydew flavor. All drinks were yummy. Kiddo is already asking to go back to try other drinks. Will definitely return when in the area.

My sister-in-law introduced me to this boba shop. The teas and slushes were amazing; they have tremendous taste without being overly sweet. The food was rich without being overly fried. I very much appreciate the ambiance, which is peaceful. The workers are very kind and gave good explanations of options that I had not encountered before. I plan to return and try some more options!

Spacious cute boba store. Some IG friendly picture booth spaces. Tried the popcorn chicken, Mango GT w lychee jelly, milk tea with boba. All decently good, popcorn chicken was a little under flavored; but i think with some powder and sauce it's great! Teas, honest opinion, milk tea was very diluted, could use more tea flavor. Mango GT was good though! Service was good. Clean and cute ambiance. Just make sure you do get charged 50cents on card payments. I think it would be a great place to hang out. Overall, I think it has potential, and would love to go back again after their grand opening! I'll try again another time in the near future for other flavors and snacks, and update!

What a cute spot in our neighborhood! Great customer service and yummy drinks. I hope they stay around longer than most biz in that spot. Go support small biz!

What a great addition to the promenade shopping center. The inside is very IG picture worthy. They have a good amount of seating that is spread out so you aren't right on top of each other. You order at the counter so there is not table service. They have plenty of drink options for everyone's preferences. They also have small bites you can order to snack on

Happy to have a new boba spot in the neighborhood! Very clean and spacious inside. Very very cute soft pink decor. Multiple instagrammable corners. Nice selection for the menu. Staff was super kind. I always test out a new place by getting jasmine milk tea with boba. Like if they can't do that I worry for the other menu items. But this place has it down nicely. Nice hint of floral jasmine flavor. Boba is chewy. Got it 50% sweet and it was exactly that. Non-dairy creamer is used so you don't have to worry about that. It reminds me of Boba Cafe that use to be the OG spot on Freeport. Please show some love to this small business!

Super adorable boba spot & my guava milk tea was delicious! Good service as well :) definitely try them out

Very clean, has great customer service and delicious drinks! Definitely recommend coming by :)

Not much tea taste, but I definitely felt the caffeine tea effects lol pretty strong. - Ginger milk tea: good amount of fresh ginger slices used! Complemented very well with the silkiness of the milk. Not sure why not many boba shops offer this type of drink as it's super soothing! - Basil popcorn chicken: wowow perfectly crispy! Succulent as well. Skimpy on the fried basil leaves, but that's a nitpick. Wished the 5-spice seasoning was more well-distributed (seemed that there was more of it on the chicken pieces that were on top of the pile). - Fried tofu: eh, missing crispiness. Rubbery skin instead. Still soft bite to the pieces though. Interior has mom-and-pop downtown-Chinatown-bodega vibes lol (in a shopping plaza). No-frills.....not the best lighting.....seating that needs to be re-upholstered. Still very much gets the job done though.

I always get the all-mozz corn dogs wherever I go (idk what it is but the half + half at any corn dog spot gives me the ick). Here, the dogs are always freshhhh and the cheese pulls are incredible. Even though they said a 10-15 minute wait, I waited maybe 5. Enough time for me to eat a donut and take a few sips of my drink. Speaking of, recently I learned that Vietnamese coffee is meant to be sipped slowly so that the cream and ice melt it down a little and the flavors marinate. Idk if that's true or not but I'm a member of the Slow Drinkers Club and, by the time I got home about an hour later, my Viet Coffee Cloud was at its best: perfectly creamy and delicious. It's now 4:30 in the afternoon and I'm going to save the rest for tomorrow which, usually, would gross me out. But CM Rachel (or is it CD now?) told me that's how it's supposed to be done!! Back to the food... I'm obsessed with the corn flakes corn dog topping: it makes the coating so crunchy and mixed with the sugary sweet... omg... 12/10. Plus, I haven't seen that topping option anywhere else! The potato topping is also great. At other places, the potato chunks are larger and can sometimes be overcooked, but here the dog was fried to perfection. In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, they had a Lucky Charms Donut and it was honestly the best flavor I've ever had. I know, I was shocked, too. The frosting had a very light berry flavor (maybe raspberry?) and the cereal on top added a nice crunch. It was gone before the corn dogs came out :D There was more seating than I recall from previous visits: a few tables and chairs inside and a few outside. There was also a selfie donut wall and a toy claw machine. Very cute! I regret not getting the Happy Meal (Drink + Donut + Corn Dog + Toy for $16) but... next time. To wrap it up, the location is great and parking is easy, so if you're with a group there are TONS of options: Chipotle, Jamba, Pieology, Greek, Crawfish, and much more!!

We usually go to another boba place off Florin, but this one caught our eye right away. It's super cute and has that whimsical, bubbly vibe the second you walk in. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were actually the only ones there, which made it easy to take our time. Since it was our first visit, we asked the cashier what she recommended, and she pointed us to the Strawberry Cloud. We ended up getting the strawberry cloud, and my daughter loved it. It definitely satisfied that boba craving she had. The space itself is small and quaint, but in a good way. One of my favorite parts was that you could actually sit inside a giant mochi for pictures, which, of course, we had to do. They also had a claw machine filled with Hello Kitty and Pokémon plushies, which added to the whole vibe. The only thing I noticed was that the claw machine handle looked a little worn and was missing the cover, so it was just the metal piece, but everything else felt clean and well-kept. Helpful tip: If it's your first time, ask the cashier about their favorites. It made ordering a lot easier, and we ended up with something we really liked. I'm already looking forward to going back to try the mochi donuts and another boba flavor.

They replaced those pieces with 1 cut up drumstick. The crispy pork was really good. The vegetables were completely cold. The table next to us ordered the same thing and specifically asked for duck drumstick or duck wing pieces and they weren't told they had to pay extra. The beef brisket clay pot came in a steel hot pot type pot, not clay pot. Full of tendon and ligaments, some cooked lettuce and daikon radish. This was underwhelming and not worth the price. The pork intestine clay pot came on a cast iron pan (like fajitas come on) and was stir fried with onions, bell peppers and red sauce. This was pretty good, but for sure needs to be eaten with rice. The crispy tofu is actually heavily salted and tossed with chopped jalapeños, red chilis and garlic. All you taste is salt. I would not order this again. Another table got the mushrooms/tofu/vegetables dish and that looked really good.
