L-R: (prices prior to tax) Mango Black Tea, $5.50. Lychee Black Tea, $5.50. Classic Milk Tea, $5.50
Vic C.

Boba Man is located diagonally across the street from Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Boba Man is right next door to Kickflip Skate Company and has a parking lot that is shared with a few business on the same street and there is also some street parking available. My husband and I came by this tea house this evening, around 6:45 pm. We ended up ordering: Mango Black Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Lychee Black Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Classic Milk Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Chicken Dumpling, $10 prior to tax ---------------------------------------- (Total= $33.23 after tax) Overall, the drinks we ordered were really sweet. We ordered them to be made with 50% sweetness level but wished we had asked for 25%. The dumpling was good though. We both liked the crispiness of the dumpling. The employee working behind the counter was friendly and she moved pretty quickly to make the drink orders that were ahead of our order and then ours. Wait time really was pretty reasonable. To be honest, I am not usually in Glendora, let alone in this part of Glendora. So I probably would not frequent this place again anytime soon. But if I do come back, I would probably request for my drink to either be made with 25% sweetness or no added sweetness (as I suspect that would still be on the sweeter side for me).

Their bobas are good, the milk tea flavor is a bit too bland for what I'm used to at Tiger Sugar. I think they add way too much ice to their tea drinks, about half of the cup was filled with ice cubes. Service is good. Ambiance is very nice and cool place to hang out with friends.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) and Honey Boba (additional 89 cents)

I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Honey Boba (additional 89 cents). Its ingredients taste clean and fresh. The beverage is very sweet and cold. Its boba also felt fresh despite feeling like little round marshmallows. Boba Man (Glendora) is not bad. I arrived at Boba Man (Glendora) on Saturday (around 4PM). The location's shared private parking lot is surprisingly big and simple. Unfortunately, the moment I opened its doors, I almost vomited. I held in my coughs as its musty & moist air hit me hard. As I glanced about, I see wilted and dead-looking plants on tables. I see dust and faded colors on the corners and walls. And none of the tables and chairs matched. Rather, it felt like I'd stumbled into Grandma's house when someone had forgotten to recently spruce up. Trying to not cough further, I approached the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Staff had a pleasant smile as I was helped. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Honey Boba (additional 89 cents). The drink took two minutes and two seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed my drink. The drink lacks any distinct tea flavor. However, it contains clean, fresh milk & strong, sweet syrup. I appreciate the drink's quality despite its simplicity. Surprisingly, the boba pears are more distinct. These boba pearls came in different sizes. It felt like a mishmash of tiny and big pearls. I enjoyed their gentle sweetness; however, these pearls are not perky nor bouncy. Instead, they felt like firm mini marshmallows. They cheerfully vanished with each bite. If Boba Man (Glendora) offered a mini boba option, I can see them succeeding. It would ruin Boba Man's love life, but mini boba are popular and attractive to certain boba fanatics. Concerning ambiance, Boba Man (Glendora) is not good. First impressions are everything, and my first impression was to run away. Thankfully, staff's air ventilation started to activate after I'd arrived. So 15 minutes later, it finally felt like I was able to breathe. On second look, Boba Man (Glendora) has potential. The location has customer wifi and password written on a board. Each table is also near an electric socket to charge devices. There's even a gender neutral restroom in the back. Later, the flat screen TV started to play youtube music which was soothing. I enjoyed the soft tones of its guitar. Most attractive is the Infinity Game Table that customers can play for free. These are all nice perks, but Boba Man (Glendora) is very reminiscent of a messy house with too many knickknacks and dying/wilted plants. There's a somber sadness in the background. Still, as previously stated, Boba Man (Glendora) is not bad. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my drink. In the end, I appreciated the experience. Also, I noticed locals still popping in to support this small, hidden business. Boba Man (Glendora) has heart. 4.5 out of 5

5 star review ALERT! Have you tried Boba Man? We stopped in for a quick milk tea Boba. The shop.owner is Mike and we chatted a little while. I love meeting establishment owners and them taking the time to visit eith customers...for this reason alone...I'd love to support his business. Its easy to park and run in. I love the Boba cups! Great logo, comfy shop to hang out a bit. Lots of offerings....but most of all an amazing milk tea Boba. Try them if you haven't. Look for the big bear on the front!

Walking in the ambiance was warm and chill. I ordered a large Taro slush w/Boba and popcorn chicken. The cashier was nice and answered all my questions politely. The large was an actually large size and the food was great! I will be back!

My first time getting boba from this establishment. I have to say this is the freshest warm boba I have ever had. I definitely will be back.

Thai Milk Tea

The boba here is okay. The Thai tea is very sweet--almost too much for my taste. I do like the boba itself; it's nice and chewy, but it doesn't have that brown sugar flavor I usually look for. Also, it's on the pricier side. Overall, not bad, but not my go-to spot either.

Popcorn chicken

First of all, the service and atmosphere is fine. Cool digital table board with games and all. However, the popcorn chicken that I ordered was very disappointing. Just look at the pale color of it. It has zero crunch and no "popcorn" coating or texture. Also it has some black pieces of burnt foods from previous frying and tastes like old grease.

First time here & definitely coming back! Best boba I have had in a long time! The owner was super friendly & the kids had so much fun just hanging out! They didn't want to leave! The snow mountain was my favorite!

On my way back to work and spotted this place. Stopped in and was greeted by a young lady and the cutest little kiddo. I got a peach green tea with lychee jelly, and the drink was delicious. While my drink was being made, I had a conversation with the little guy, and he highly recommended the brown sugar milk tea drink (he said it was easily the best thing on the menu). Little man was so intelligent and impressive, I'd trust him to do my taxes! Give them a try if you're in the area, they have a pretty big selection of drinks and flavors.

Boba is so yummy!!! I got a strawberry green tea with crystal boba / lychee jelly

I arrived at It's Boba Time (San Dimas) on Saturday (around 12:06PM - near opening time). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. There's even EV Charging Stations. Staff is the highlight. Staff (receipt says Gavin) warmly welcomed me as I entered. Gavin is professional and friendly. My drink took one minute and 30 seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I abhorred the Hokkaido Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large) with Boba. It's one of the worst prepared drinks that I've had in a long time. The tea had an artificial candy flavor while also offering a thin, watery aftertaste. The boba had no sweetness nor flavor; it tasted and felt like chewing on toilet paper. There's no bounce; rather, its just "splats." In the end, this thing went into the trashcan. "UGH!!!" Concerning ambiance, It's Boba Time (San Dimas) is harmless. I appreciated how the location was relatively clean. Ignoring the clumpy dust in its crevices, the three indoor tables are shiny. The floor also looked swept. It's Boba Time (San Dimas) has no available electrical outlets. There's a gender neutral restroom, but it was out-of-order during my visit. Also, the music is inviting and jolly with its Christmas tunes. Overall, I had a horrific experience at It's Boba Time (San Dimas). I left nauseated and annoyed. "Such a waste of money!" I'd internally screamed. At its current state, I do not recommend It's Boba Time (San Dimas). 1 out of 5

Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) is a college student tourist trap. I arrived at Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) on Sunday (around 2:54PM). Parking is easy. The shared private lot is busy; however, there's plenty of spots. This business is across from Azusa Pacific University. Staff's friendly and welcoming demeanor was this experience's highlight. I was brightly welcomed when I entered. Staff (receipt said Hanlin) also helped me when I had questions. Customers can order on the self-service kiosk or counter. My drink took one minute and 26 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered the Pearl Milk Tea ($6.05). This drink's default ingredients are non-dairy creamer, boba pearls, and "milk tea." It's a drink that makes me more annoyed the more I reflect upon it. The drink is affordable & large. In addition, it's a faint sweetness at "regular sugar." However, the drink primarily tastes like poorly flavored water. Most frustrating were their old boba pearls. These boba pearls had signs of being frozen and defrosted as they broke into congealed, rubbery chunks with each bite. Their outer later was also spongey (bordering on gloopy). And these squishy boba lacked any sweetness. There were moments where I genuinely pondered about throwing the beverage into the trashcan. Concerning ambiance, Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) had a clean floor but dirty tables. Some tables were smudgy, and others were covered in visible crumbs. Glancing at the glass entrance, I can also see smudgy marks on their unclean windows. Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) feels like a half-abandoned passion project. However, I did like the airy ventilation, three vibrant claw machines, and cheerful upbeat music. This location also includes a gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Coco Tea Bar (Azusa) is an affordable, cute, & somewhat-dirty location that sells cheap-tasting drinks. I left disappointed and a little disgusted. 2.4 out of 5

Cafe Bungalow is located next to a McDonalds with plenty of seating inside. The interior is fairly open with a bunch of wooden tables. Menu has a great variety with items like fresh tea (green, black, oolong) topped with cream, smoothies, milk tea, and the ever famous strawberry matcha. Prices are moderate. I opted for the oolong tea topped with cream and boba. Their boba was a bit chewy, but did not have much flavor. You couldn't really taste the oolong either as it was more of a sweet cream drink. My sister got their strawberry matcha, which was a let down. It was more of a strawberry milk drink as the "matcha" portion was just poorly mixed in and maybe a half of a teaspoon of their powder??? I just wouldn't get their matcha here. Their fries were yummy with that seasoning powder and crunchy! Good portion. Same with their popcorn chicken, but it was a bit rubbery. Overall, I wouldn't really go out of my way to come back for their drinks specifically. Looked like a cute place to try. Didn't know if it was just us, but after reading other people's reviews it seems as if their service is also lacking. The cashier helping us just wasn't very nice.

When I asked if I could get it as a large, I was told it only came in the 12 oz, so I decided not to get it. Then the barista offered another option adding pandan cold foam on top instead. I very clearly asked (twice) if that version would be a large, and she said yes. Since that worked for me, I agreed to the second option. I stepped out briefly to use the restroom, but theirs was closed, so I had to walk over to Stater Bros. When I came back, to my surprise, the drink was still a small. I was disappointed because I had specifically confirmed that the customized option would be a large. At that point, I felt rushed like they were more eager to close and go home than to fix the mistake so I didn't feel I had much of a choice but to take it. I paid $10 for a small drink, which felt unreasonable, especially considering the miscommunication. To make matters worse, the drink didn't really taste like pandan at all. Overall, the customer service felt very off at this location. I'd rather go to the San Gabriel location, where I've had a much better experience.
