Cute & cozy shop!! Super clean and had the cutest little boba merch and little school trinkets for the kiddos! Bubbly atmosphere! There were clouds as decor! Service was quick and the person was super friendly! My daughter did get the dumplings and liked it a lot! Cute treat for your kiddos!
Boba drinks done here, are very good. Prices have risen a few times since we began coming here. Expect a bit of a wait, lots of cutesy items on back wall to entice children or keep young spirited adults entertained. There is a couple of Switch units in store, but I have never seen them played, unsure if you bring your own games or borrow games from the checkout. Pricing for drinks is $5-$7, which seems like the norm for boba.
Had a pleasant experience right away! Walked right in to a weekend promotion which was great for my kiddos. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. We tried the strawberry milk boba, black sesame milk boba, and caramel milk tea (swapped boba for egg pudding. Thank you for having a good amount of non-caffeinated drinks so my kids could enjoy! Boba had a great chew! The black sesame had a great fresh flavor and didn't taste powdery. The strawberry milk was a hit with my kids and I loved the fresh strawberry puree. My caramel milk tea was exactly as I expected and the pudding was smooth and light. All of the drinks had a mid level of sweetness, requiring no sugar adjustment. Music wasn't too loud and the shop had four 4-seater tables in the shop with two more outside. Overall we had a great first impression and are excited for our next visit!
As the name suggests, the place is super cute! And what's better than a clean and cute environment? Cute n tasty boba drinks!! They have a wide selection of drinks. I also loved their mochi ice cream! They offer Japanese hot snacks, fried chicken with sauce on the top is my favorite. Because the place has opened recently, I'd suggest visiting them when you're not overwhelmed and could be patient with the staff.
I wanted to like this place so much but It just wasn't good. The location itself is cute and inviting very clean good amount of seating. I got the taro to ado drink because they didn't have a regular blended taro drink and I was very disappointed. The drink itself had a ok flavor but was pretty bland for all the stuff that was in it. It didn't have many boba balls in it and they sucked I do t know if they were under or over cooked but it was something also, for being a blended drink somehow the drink itself didn't feel cold at all, even my girl, who hates cold things, said it was "warm". (It wasn't warm, it was like room temp). I hope this place gets better but my experience was not good.
We came here to try a new boba place and support local. Unfortunately, it was not as expected. We frequent boba places quite often and this is the first place that I wouldn't want to return to and I hate to even say that. The staff were really friendly and the menu options looked great. I wanted a drink with the cheese foam and I ended up spending $1 to add it. The amount of foam in my drink was not a lot and I felt it wasn't anywhere near worth $1 for what I got. The boba was few and far between in the drink itself. I also won't get crystal boba again, it wasn't tasty and it tasted mushy vs extra chewy as it was described. It would be nice to try a boba pearl type first before ordering it since this type was new to me. I liked the flavor of the tea it was a pineapple tea. I didn't register that it would actually have pineapple chunks in it. That was a surprise and I don't like fruit in my drink. The description said pineapple jam and I figured like other places it would be a pineapple flavor or infused tea vs having full pineapple mushed into the bottom of the drink cup. The taro tornado also tasted different than we are used to. It had a grainy and powdery taste to it. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch but it wasn't pleasant.
This is the cutest boba shop I have been to in the area. You can tell it's family run with love. Great decor, cute little gifts for purchase and an expansive menu with some really cool drinks. I love the cat theme! The guy who gave me my drink was so nice and explained the best way to enjoy the unique drink. I ordered the fire cream brulee milk tea which was so good! I will definitely be visiting again and trying out their other locations. Also the adorable cups are reusable and dishwasher safe so you get a cute lil souvenir!
Fun and cute interior, friendly staff, and creative assortment of drink flavors to choose from. I got the Taro Tornado, and the husband got the Thai tea boba blend. They add ube sauce to the taro tornado, and that made it very unique. It was definitely worth it. They have little vendors set up there with cute stickers and Knick knacks, which adds to the vibe. It's adorable even down to the kitty cat cups! Will certainly be back, since we need to try more flavors.
This is my first time at this location! I've been to the east Mesa location and it was bomb! I usually get the oolong osmanthus drink with light honey boba, light ice and less sweet. I usually get this drink EVERY time I see it on the menu because a lot of boba locations do not serve it! This place is literally my favorite so far being a California native haha. This time I came with my family and they really like the tea drink so we got the fruit tea madness, taro milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and the mango green tea, and royal house milk tea with honey boba. I haven't tried any of the milk teas here and I will have to say that the house milk tea was bomb! Super refreshing and what I needed!

Was craving boba and didn't want to go all the way to chandler mall for it. Found this cute small place tucked all the way in the back. It was late so no one was there when we arrived. They have a small sitting area and many choices to choose from. From boba drinks to food, to ice cream, to snacks and much more. They also sell small merchandise like stickers and keychains. Our drinks were so good! Mine came with toasted marshmallows and really hit the spot. Definitely a place to check out! read more
If you come here, just get the drinks and maybe some of the cute merch. I believe I came to this location last year, and it was a good experience. This time around, it was just okay. Our drinks weren't bad, but the Brown Sugar Milk Tea looked really watery. I also ordered the Soup Dumplings and the Chicken Siu Mei as a snack to hold us over until dinner. At first sight, the food looked okay, but the portion sizes are super small. I hate to say it, but the packaging is super wasteful when you're using an oversized container to put these tiny dumplings in. Prices for the drinks are not bad, but the food is overpriced, imo for what you get. The dipping sauces were even more ridiculous. The containers were filled about 1/4 of the way. Why even put that in?! The dumplings didn't taste bad, but they were just so damn small. I'd feed these to a toddler!! Service wasn't bad, as the guy was running the place by himself and we didn't mind waiting for the food, but we were disappointed, to say the least. I guess I should have known better than to get food at a boba shop, but I have been to a lot of other places where they give you your money's worth. The Waffle Pops look okay, and maybe they are, but I'm not in a rush to try them. If you don't mind small portions, then this place is alright. For me personally, it'll be just drinks going forward. First time here and it was so kawaii!!! The menu was easy to read and the combination and the extra flair on some of them were out of this world! The drinks we got were the coffee milk tea, watermelon tea slush, and royal milk tea. The boba had a good chewy taste and not that sweet which was nice since the drink itself was sweet. I also got the original waffle pop. It was an eggy batter and it was hot right grill! It had a good soft crust and then fluffy eggy dough on the inside. The inside was very clean and pink/white and cat themed. They had cloud light fixtures, a cat in a boba cup, and their merch wall had all things related to cats or boba. The service was quick and easy. The two employees that were there were very nice and organized. They had our drinks done in no time! I can't wait to come back and try more drinks and they food options as well! read more

The boba here is just fine. This shop is located in between Cafe Rio and Men's Wearhouse, and if I remember correctly, the logo on the exterior of the shop says "Icicles: Handcrafted Ice Cream Rolls," which makes it a little confusing that there's a boba shop within. There's plenty of parking in the private lot, and the interior of the shop is super clean and cute. They sell stickers and a variety of anime style merch on the side, which is a perk if you like to window shop or collect cute items. I ordered the jasmine green tea with milk + boba with no sugar and no ice, as well as the green tea cheesecake. My order came out promptly, and my drink came with a cute lid with cat ears, which I thought was a nice touch. The boba was cooked well and was sweet, but the milk tea itself only tasted like milk and I wasn't able to taste the fragrance of the tea. The cheesecake was a lot smaller and flatter than I expected (as in, it was the size of the palm of my hand), and even though it was tasty + super aesthetic looking, it was really expensive for the price. Unfortunately, not a spot that I would frequent or go out of my way to try. read more
TLDR: the boba sucked balls. Really wanted to like this place too and from what I read from the other negative reviews I completely agree. The aesthetic is there and it's so cute, clean and inviting. The staff is so friendly, but man they have not tasted their drinks.... the menu looks so exciting and good but really feel that execution is lacking. I might come back and try something else but the two drinks I ordered with my friend were both really bad. First of all I think they had sugar adjustments that were followed with one drink but the other was still fully sweet. So to warn everyone, the drink was called Dragon Fruit Milk Bubble and it looked and tasted like super sugary pepto bismol or liquid amoxicillin. The amount of boba was minimal and I'm certain undercooked. I think there was dragon fruit jam at the bottom that was slighly tart but not enough that I could tell. I'm going to say that if there was more real fruit at least it wouldn't taste as bad as it did. My friend got the fresh taro milk bubble and it tasted entirely like soy milk with some grains at the bottom. I hope they come up with new recipes and test their menu properly because I would love to see them succeed, but as of now I can't recommend anything but their aesthetic. read more

I decided to check these guys out their second day open. I'll probably come back in 6 months or after that to give them time to get all settled in. The brown sugar milk tea was not very sweet. I didn't ask them to reduce the sweetness at all because i like to start off sweet then from there adjust as needed the following visits. So i figured I'd give them time to not be all frazzled since it's only their second day open at their brand new location. I love how close this is to our house and can't wait to come back in the future. read more

Cute boba place!! The place is so welcoming and clean and not to mention the decor is so fun. Arreya took our order and was very informational on the drinks which was so helpful! My regular is the strawberry milk bubble and all the strawberry drinks are always so yummy you can never go wrong with them, the boba is always on the spot. They have adorable stickers, keychains, pins, plushies, etc. You won't regret trying this place out!! read more

My friend and I tried coming here a couple weeks ago, but thought it was Icicles since they didn't update the outside sign yet. Today we came and was happy that it was actually Boba Cutea. I ordered the Strawberry crème and my friend got the brown sugar milk tea. They are both delicious. Amazing on the presentation!
