I looove this boba place and I loooove the fact that they have a drive thru here. It's always pretty crowded and the drive thru is long but tbh, it's worth the wait. I always go for the jasmine green milk tea. It's delicious. Tea flavor is strong and not overly sweet. The boba always seems to be in the right shape and texture, no complaints ever. I work out at the LA fitness gym on Baldwin in Arcadia. Ever time I drive by here, there is always a long car line at this drive thru Boba place. I want to find out what all the fuss is here about. So I decided to drive in here and order a milk tea. After consulting the friendly and patient server, I got the most popular brown sugar boba with grass jelly add-on. The tea was well brewed and the combination of boba and grass jelly were delicious love it. Now I understand why people are lining up here. Although I ordered only one drink, I was able to observe the drive thru orders and found that the mango smoothie was very popular as well. I will definitely going to try that one next time. It would be a great after work out drink. There are a few parking spaces in the back and a seat down patio on the opposite side the drive thruway. read more

Not sure why this place got such rave reviews. Perhaps because they're open late. From my experience, the teller hardly listened to my order. If you order the cheese foam top, please be aware that that particular topping runs really sweet from this establishment. I asked for 50% sweetness for my drink but because of that topping, it was way too sweet for my liking. We also ordered the Oreo vanilla smoothie. We thought, "You can't really mess that one up. It's should be pretty straightforward." Boy were we mistaken. Drinks had to be thrown out. Spent $15+ on two drinks with high hopes. We wont be going back. It's too bad. I'm upgrading my review from last time, from 1 to 3, thanks to Holiday. She has honestly really good customer service skills and explained the situation from last time. Some people would make excuses and begrudgingly tell me "It's not really my fault but I'm willing to compensate you" in the past for me, and that's usually a no-go for me. I didn't feel like that this time. I appreciate the sincerity from Holiday and I'll definitely be coming back thanks to her. Part of my review is based on consistency, quality for the cost, and customer service (which is a big thing for me). The milk tea I recently had was what I had expected my milk tea to have tasted like in the first place (unlike the time when I made my other review). Overall, I'm impressed and will be coming back. Boba avenue is actually not bad (for the price and quality you get compared to other boba stores nearby such as Chakka, Au79, T to Tea, Tancca, Ding Tea, and Nest Tea (to name a few, you see I do have a noticeable addiction to milk tea LOL). But amidst decent tasting boba are clumps of either undercooked or OLD boba that are hard and chewy. Dude...you're a boba place, please have consistent quality checks. The palace is small and only for to-go orders. The drive thru is cool with a nice mural. But I saw reviews of the drive thru being slow, so we just went inside. The place inside is small, with a wall to wall like 7' or something. But somehow they need to BLAST their order call on a speaker that's right next to the order window. It was freaken loud! So I have been going here for over a year now & I am unfortunately never going back. This place used to be good but it has been letting me down the last few times I have gone. The drinks are super plain & have no flavor. All I taste is sugar because the boba itself has no taste anymore. I brought my dad today telling him how good the drinks are here & he was very disappointed because his Thai milk tea taste like water with sugar to him. He was even more upset after the fact of having to wait over 30 minutes. I've passed by this place sooo many times but never tried it until now. We ordered a grapefruit and orange green tea and an almond milk tea, both at 75% sugar and less ice. It took only about 5-7 minutes total to order our drinks and to get them at the pick up window. The grapefruit and orange green tea was pretty good. I could definitely taste the tea. 75% sweet was a tad bit too sweet for me, I would probably get 50% next time. The almond milk tea was pretty good too and the 75% sugar was just right for this drink. The drive thru concept is pretty cool and convenient. There was only one car ahead of us that was waiting for pick up when we got there so we didn't have to wait. If you like spicy but not to spicy, I would suggest getting the MILD because I once ordered the MEDIUM and I could not stop coughing due to how spicy it was. We got the Hokkaido milk tea with boba, light ice, 50% sugar and the jasmine green milk tea with boba, light ice and 50% sugar. The Hokkaido milk tea was alright. The sweetness level was good at 50% but the drink just tastes a bit watery. We asked for light ice for both, but we finished our drink and half the cup was filled with ice. Their jasmine green milk tea was better, no complaint there. Aside from this, the boba was mediocre. Some were cooked perfectly, but there were a few pieces in there that was uncooked and extremely hard to chew. read more
