After years of driving by seeing lines onto the street & constantly saying "wow how cool a drive thru boba place", I finally went. We got here during a super empty/slow time so that alone made me happy. We pulled up and scanned the menu. I got something messy, it was like boba & pudding. My husband got something with almond milk I think. Once you order & pay, they have you move up to the next window and from here - is where I understand the busy part. It took them quite some time to make our drinks & I mean, as a drive-thru, I thought it would've been quicker. The drinks were delicious nonetheless though. We came on a weekday and it was totally empty. Still took over 10 minutes to make our 4 teas. Overall i would put this as a middle of the pack average milk tea. Not great but not terrible. I think my biggest issue was there wasn't a whole lot of tea flavor - agree with the other reviewers that this was more like sweet milk with boba. We did order the chicken- that came out hot and crispy and the portion size was huge so a plus there. Come if you want a tea with a snack- skip off just looking for a drink. read more

Been driving by this place and there's always a full line of cars. So I thought of giving it a try, what is interesting about this spot is that it's a Boba joint drive thru which is really convenient, I don't see too many places that has Bona drive thrus. The atmosphere of the drive thru is really cool and interesting but next time im going to have to walk in and to see how it is in the dine area. I ordered the Milk tea boba and fried popcorn chicken mild spice. The boba was pretty good can't complain. But the popcorn chicken was eh, it wasn't crunchy, and few pieces of chicken were mushy like if they weren't cooked right. Even thought that I wasn't able to enjoy the popcorn chicken I'm still willing to come back and give it a other try. I also want to try their Sweet potato fries and their other drinks. Other then that if you're in for a quick drink for a boba I would recommend stopping by through the drive thru. These days I'm no longer into boba teas so I'm looking to see if they have alternative drinks to fill my tummy with goodness and so I chose the mango smoothie. I will tell you it's a good drink and on occasion they have a bogo night every once in awhile. This location is almost always packed with cars waiting in line like if it was a In n Out burger joint so your better off to just park your car and go into the establishment to place your order or order beforehand and come in to do a pickup. They also have finger foods but this particular night we were only coming for drinks so next time when we are going to park our butts down is when we will try some snacks. At last after two years, I finally tried this drive thru Boba Ave Express. Its owned and operated by Böba Ave 8090. This drive thru is located at Baldwin ave in Arcadia. It's the only drive thru boba, hence, the car line gets long and creates traffic. I get discourage easily. I was lucky enough to arrive this afternoon where there is a shorter line (2 cars in front). Service was pretty fast and convenient. Staff were amiable and followed health protocol. Prices were fair. Overall, I had a good experience and it's a wonderful boba drive thru and very convenient. I highly recommend this drive thru Boba Ave Express. read more

This place is not it for me. I got a cheese foam green tea and it was not good. The tea should be called water, with no tea flavor. The cheese foam was artificial tasting and very sweet. A simple green tea is hard to mess up I feel and judging by how flavorless the green tea was, I cant see the other drinks being good. I can see the hype for this place since it's a drive thru and we don't have those around here. So for the convenience, its a great concept.
