Love the drive thru aspect of this place it makes it convenient to get boba! There is a line sometimes but it's all worth it in the end. Also open late night for those midnight boba cravings. warning: you will be waiting in a long line for mediocre boba! There is always a line here, so normally I would park my car and order in person to skip the wait (they use to have this option). However they got rid of the ability to order in person completely around 2 months ago so now it's exclusively a drive through. I didn't know about this, so I went recently when I was craving popcorn, chicken and Boba, so I went here, and after waiting in the drive-through line for about 20 minutes, I finally get to the ordering window only to be told that popcorn chicken will take an additional 25 minutes How insane. So I had to go somewhere and couldn't wait for popcorn chicken but in total I would've waited almost 1 hour if I did get that. There's so many other better boba spots + popcorn chicken around. These days I'm no longer into boba teas so I'm looking to see if they have alternative drinks to fill my tummy with goodness and so I chose the mango smoothie. I will tell you it's a good drink and on occasion they have a bogo night every once in awhile. This location is almost always packed with cars waiting in line like if it was a In n Out burger joint so your better off to just park your car and go into the establishment to place your order or order beforehand and come in to do a pickup. They also have finger foods but this particular night we were only coming for drinks so next time when we are going to park our butts down is when we will try some snacks. Been driving by this place and there's always a full line of cars. So I thought of giving it a try, what is interesting about this spot is that it's a Boba joint drive thru which is really convenient, I don't see too many places that has Bona drive thrus. The atmosphere of the drive thru is really cool and interesting but next time im going to have to walk in and to see how it is in the dine area. I ordered the Milk tea boba and fried popcorn chicken mild spice. The boba was pretty good can't complain. But the popcorn chicken was eh, it wasn't crunchy, and few pieces of chicken were mushy like if they weren't cooked right. Even thought that I wasn't able to enjoy the popcorn chicken I'm still willing to come back and give it a other try. I also want to try their Sweet potato fries and their other drinks. Other then that if you're in for a quick drink for a boba I would recommend stopping by through the drive thru. At last after two years, I finally tried this drive thru Boba Ave Express. Its owned and operated by Böba Ave 8090. This drive thru is located at Baldwin ave in Arcadia. It's the only drive thru boba, hence, the car line gets long and creates traffic. I get discourage easily. I was lucky enough to arrive this afternoon where there is a shorter line (2 cars in front). Service was pretty fast and convenient. Staff were amiable and followed health protocol. Prices were fair. Overall, I had a good experience and it's a wonderful boba drive thru and very convenient. I love their milk teas but WOW it is NOT an express drive through. I've been here 4 times and each time I've waited for 15+ min, even when it was a Wednesday at 2pm. This last time, I had 4 cars in front and it took over 30min before I got to the window to get my one drink. Not sure why it takes so long but I wish this can be addressed as it's a real bummer and encourages me to find a different boba store to get my drinks from. read more

Good and fast service. I always come here because of the drive through. Brown sugar boba is the one to get.

4 cars in front of me in the drive though. It took 30 f**** minutes to get my drink. WTF? Why would it take 25-30 minutes to serve 4 orders of drinks , each car w 1-3 drinks ? No idea. But that's why the line is always so long , they take forever to make drinks and then people see the long line and get in line. Horrible cycle. I would only go here if there was a very small line or no line. You'll unintentionally lose 25 minutes of your life in this trap. Also , they got my 2 drinks wrong ! I saw them hand it to the car in front of me and when it was my turn , they realized this and I had an extra wait !! When it came back , it was not 25 percent sweet but 100 ! What an epic disaster, 30 minutes later and 17 dollars less for 2 incorrect drinks. The only reason they have 2 stars is because their drinks are good when it's a reasonable time to wait and done correctly and not a disaster of an experience. Good drinks for sure but I'll just say my favorite boba places are boba guys in La and bofo mofo in sgv , but this place is good also just not my fave, the hokkaido drinks are good, but what I like here is their popcorn chicken and fries lol. The service is nice, if you don't like your drink they will remake it for you, I always get 25% sweetness because I'm sweet already but I've tried their higher levels of sweetness and I have friends who like it . The wall paintings are aesthetically pleasing . It's cool also because sometimes you see some nice cars parked. I bring my car out here sometimes. Seems to usually have some car enthusiast. Only thing is sometimes the drive thru which is cool they even have one but it just adds traffic on Baldwin ave and since I live in Arcadia sometimes it does block a lane which can be in inconvenience. I looove this boba place and I loooove the fact that they have a drive thru here. It's always pretty crowded and the drive thru is long but tbh, it's worth the wait. I always go for the jasmine green milk tea. It's delicious. Tea flavor is strong and not overly sweet. The boba always seems to be in the right shape and texture, no complaints ever. I work out at the LA fitness gym on Baldwin in Arcadia. Ever time I drive by here, there is always a long car line at this drive thru Boba place. I want to find out what all the fuss is here about. So I decided to drive in here and order a milk tea. After consulting the friendly and patient server, I got the most popular brown sugar boba with grass jelly add-on. The tea was well brewed and the combination of boba and grass jelly were delicious love it. Now I understand why people are lining up here. Although I ordered only one drink, I was able to observe the drive thru orders and found that the mango smoothie was very popular as well. I will definitely going to try that one next time. It would be a great after work out drink. There are a few parking spaces in the back and a seat down patio on the opposite side the drive thruway. read more
