If there is a way to give them a zero, they would get a zero. The buying process took over eight…read morehours, and when I finally secured my own financing, they were then willing to deal to try to get their financing, but then made me promise I would not refinance for at least three months. I've already had the truck back in to have the radio replaced as it was bad. And for a brand new truck, it had already been driven as a courtesy car and had a flat tire and had a rope plug in the tire, and when I confronted them about it as I had an independent tire company evaluate the tire they told me there was nothing they could do about it because now conveniently it had a nail in the sidewall. Never again, already bought my Wife a 2026 traverse from Spitzer in Canton, night and day experience. Incidentally, the 20 year-old who sold me the truck is conveniently also no longer working there.

I spent hours waiting for the finance department to present the paper work I needed to sign. When they took me in the back room to sign I noticed that they were charging me almost $3,000 more than the salesman's quote. When I asked about it the finance guy got defensive and rude rather than taking ownership of the issue. I told him I was going to step out of the office and he had 10 minutes to get the salesman back in the room and resolve the issue or I was leaving. When I came back to the office the monthly interest rate was lowered and the loan amount was lowered reducing the payment by $100 per month. Against my better judgement I bought the car. I felt like I was put in a position that I had to act like a jerk to get the issue resolved. Three months later the engine seized up for my daughter, who bought the car, and we had to have it towed to a repair shop. They evaluated the car and said the engine was shot and needed rebuilt or replaced. I remembered talking to the sales guy at Serpentine who showed me the carfax Warranty Check when I test drove the car. He pointed out that the drive train warranty had 38 months or 18,000 miles remaining and that should give me some peace of mind. So I followed up with a Hyundai dealership and Hyundai corporate customer service who told me that warranty only applies to the original owner. However, it turns out there is a known problem with certain Hyundai engines and I might get some help from them. Let's hope. Needless to say, I don't trust this dealership.

Amy is wonderful. She kept us informed about the progress and the final price. I feel their prices are fair and they do a great job. They even send you pictures of the problem parts. Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence. I don't know of many businesses that would've reached out when closed to help someone during a difficult time. I wish I could give Fuerst 10 stars because they deserve it. Thank you, Mike, for your kindness and help.
