The communication with customers on updates about their vehicles. In the first week of January they told me to bring my car on February 24th. I brought my car, they had it a little over a month with very little communication about the progress of the work being done. I picked up my car and it's May 22nd and they are still waiting on a part that is on back order and I had to contract them to check on the status. The communication is horrible. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at Bob Howard Collision Center. They consistently over-promised and under-delivered. Initially, they didn't strip the entire car to assess all the damage and failed to order all the necessary parts. To make matters worse, they ended up ordering the wrong parts altogether. This is probably about 3 and a half month going and now they keep insisting that all it is needing is paint, but that is far from the truth. Because they still haven't got me car back and I was told that last week. It is now Tuesday evening going on Wednesday. Half way through another week. They finally gave me a loaner car barely last Friday after months of no vehicle probably because I keep applying pressure on their backs about my vehicle. Maybe if I'd had a different person caring for my business my experience would have been more pleasant. Not only are we in the dumps for having to have our vehicle worked on for whatever reason, working with pleasant folks to ease the pain. Instead I got a male chauvinist who argued with me about my vehicle's damage when I was telling him what happened (even after the insurance adjuster confirmed). When I called to check on the progress of my vehicle, he didn't return call. Yet when my husband called, he was all buddy-buddy and in a good ol' boy tone gave him a thorough update. New update: Rep called back and apologized for the misunderstanding. Accountability is lacking this day and age and for him to call back and explain why and how it was all coming across went a long way. horrible experience. I went to four reputable body shops and got written estimates for repair. the estimate from Bob Howard was not the lowest but State Farm recommended them. after I dropped off the vehicle they called to say the price of the estimate was now DOUBLE the original - because the estimator made a "mistake". WTF! to add insult, they changed (delayed) the repair timeframe 4x. It was a total of 2 months for me to get access of my car. It was a little fender bender and it 2 months. I had to call to make sure they called the insurance company and the receptionist are the worst I have ever talked to. Any question they would just direct me to the estimator. I started questioning what there what there job was if I am only talking to the estimator the whole time, but the insurance company of the person who hit my car was also very bad so not all the blame is on them. read more

Had vehicle towed to Bob Howard Collision the morning of October 23. I signed the authorization to repair, and initial insurance payment was issued on October 26. Initial estimate was 6 business days to repair. November 18, insurance adjuster informed me of a supplement. Supplement increased estimated repair time to 14 business days. They received supplement payment November 20. So far, It's been 67 calendar days, 46 business days, not counting holidays, and it's still not finished. I have received OnStar notifications that battery was almost dead, and low tire pressure. Lost communication for several days. (Battery dead) No communication from Bob Howard Collision. I called and spoke to the manager, Billy Lile, on December 18, as Brittany had yet to return a single call. I was told he was unaware how long it had been there, and that it was now a priority job. He would not let it "slip through the cracks." Possibly complete by December 24. On December 24, I was told early December 29. End of the day December 29, I was told maybe late December 30, possibly December 31. I guess it "slipped through the cracks." after all. I picked up car at 5:20pm on December 31. They had to finish pin stripping on January 4, 2021, because they didn't have the right color. So far, the quality looks good. Communication is horrible. Took more then 2 months for what should have been a 3 week repair. read more

1) Lost my paperwork. Had NO idea they were supposed to fix my car until I called them to ask about it 24 hours later. Even then, it was another 24 hours before they found the paperwork! So, I lost two days right off the bat! 2) My car was supposed to be moved from the tow truck yard to Bob Howard Collision first thing Monday morning, and was not. I had to make several phone calls to get the car transferred -- more than 24 hours later (late Tuesday afternoon). 3) Said my car would be ready in 3 weeks -- got my car back 7.5 weeks later. 4) "Brittney" was supposed to be my customer service person at Bob Howard. In 7.5 weeks, I NEVER received a single phone call from her (or anyone else) at Bob Howard. I also did not receive any photos of my car repair progress. I received nothing but silence. 5) "Richard" was the mechanic who repaired my car. My wife called to ask about the progress of the car, and "Richard" actually LAUGHED at her and then YELLED at her! 6) My wife walked in the front door to pick up the car, and the store manager (Billy Lile) was in his glass walled office, yelling profanity into the telephone (it sounded like he was yelling at an insurance employee) -- "IT IS YOUR FAULT! NO! IT IS YOUR FAULT!" Extremely unprofessional and scary from a customer's point of view. The front office girl was not phased by the manager's yelling profanity -- which means it's "business as usual" at Bob Howard Collision. I selected Bob Howard Collision because it carried the Bob Howard name. In retrospect, that was a terrible mistake. This shop has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Don't do it! I failed to do my research, and I had a terrible experience at Bob Howard Collision Center. My husband went to get the carseats out of my car the day I dropped it off, and they couldn't find the keys. My husband walked outside to the OPEN parking lot, and found my car completely unlocked and unattended, and they hadn't even started working on it. I dropped it off at 10:30 that morning, and my husband stopped by right before they closed. I was paying for a rental, and they assured me the parts were in and they were ready to begin working immediately. When I called the next day and expressed concern to Billy Lile over my car being left unlocked, questioned why none of the employees could locate my keys, and why the repair work process had not begun he acted annoyed and was EXTREMELY rude. He then told me to come get my car if I was going to question how they do things at Bob Howard. So I did. We took our business elsewhere, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! After taking it for the estimate and ordering parts, the place we ultimately used started work the SAME day I dropped it off, and they texted photos of my car and UPDATES every single day it was in their shop. Detailed to perfection upon completion (4 days total). Bob Howard Collision- take note! When I went to speak to Billy Lile personally he did apologize for being ugly to me over the phone, and he mentioned he had several broken ribs which was why he was in a bad mood. I sincerely hope he feels better, and I understand we all have bad days. However, after reading all the similar shocking reviews about terrible customer service from this business I wanted to share my story as well. It seems like this type of behavior is an every day occurrence at Bob Howard, and that is not okay, y'all. Don't settle! OKC does have great auto repair shops willing to go the extra mile. Absolutely the worst experience ever. They have absolutely no regard for customers. I wish I had read all the previous reviews before I took our Toyota there. Don't try to get in touch with anyone because multiple times we were advised one person is running the show. From drop off, being given inaccurate hours, to trying to communicate with anyone that knew anything. Leaving messages is pointless, but today was priceless, they wanted to charge us more than 600.00 over our deductible even when the paperwork clearly stated we were only responsible for the deductible. They finally worked that out but it was too little too late. The woman at the front counter, was very new employee, I wish we had met her earlier in the process because you could tell she really cared. I have never written a negative view for a business but this is a must. My car sat in Bob Howard Collision center for over a month, while telling myself and my insurance company it was being worked on. I was told on two occasions oh yeah its getting broken down. My insurance company constantly called because they were not requesting any supplement, all while telling me 'we're just waiting on your insurance". Finally yesterday I get a call from my insurance company that they are totaling my car. At this point I've been paying for a rental car out of pocket and I will have to continue and we are JUST STARTING THE TOTALING PROCESS 5 WEEKS IN. The receptionist transfers all calls to "Brittany", who is never at her desk, who never picks up the phone, who never returns your calls requested on her voice mail. I ask to speak to the Manager of the Center and he was out. The worse, is there lack of effort in communicating with the insurance adjuster. I would give negative stars if I could. Took my work van in to be fixed they looked over it and agreed to fix it per the insurance quote but couldn't get me in right away. I had to wait 2 months to get my appointment and I was ok with that. After a 2 month wait I took it in to them and dropped it off. A week later I get a call from the most rude and disrespectful rep ever Billy saying we can't fix this cause it won't fit in our paint booth. Why make me wait 2 months and a week after seeing the vehicle and then tell me you can't do the work. I told them to just fix the damage and I'll take it to someone else to paint it. They then said we actually are not to sure how to even fix this damage. Are you kidding me? You are a dealer that fixes for Nissan and your telling me you can't fix a Nissan van? When they tell you the insurance company said you can just drop your car off and they will get an estimate to them, you might want to stick around and point out everything to them. If by chance they miss something or don't write it down and it doesn't get fixed guess what the insurance won't pay for it. I was asked why didn't I point that out, well because I was told to drop it off and was around when they did the estimate. No wonder they are a preferred body shop for my insurance. They work together to screw you!!! Lesson learned. Will NEVER use them again. Update: One day the insurance company says they absolute will not cover it and the next day they call saying they are so sorry they will now cover it? What I'm saying is from my understanding the insurance company didn't send out an adjustor the first time so they were just going off what you wrote down needed to be fixed, if a problem was in question I was told you usually send a pic to the insurance company for review and none of that was done, that area just wasn't repaired!! This was my worst experience with a Collision Center. I took my Acura MDX in for them to paint the bumper and repair a ding in my passenger rear door. The body work and paint job was great, but when they returned the SUV to me there were 2 electrical parts that did not work....the door lock and unlock of the door they repaired the ding on and the liftgate no longer would lift with the push of the button or the fob. I returned the vehicle and they repaired the door lock but could not repair the liftgate and even claimed that it went out working. Then they tried to convince me that it must have just gone out coincidentally. Now I must find someone to repair the lift gate and the Acura dealer gave me an estimate of over $600. I also picked it up both times with a filthy floor mat, which was very irritating as I keep my MDX immaculate. I wanted to share my experience with Bob Howard Collision Center I took my car in thinking this place would be reliable body shop as told by the individual who gave me a estimate (NATE). To find out the experience was not only unprofessional but now pricy. When trying to communicate with this person he gave me the run around about my vehicle saying he had not heard from insurance who was liable for my car damages. I found that to be a lie since the insurance not only sent a FULL PAYMENT to cover charges. They thought to deposit my check that was given for my damages to my car. My car sat in the parking lot for over 3 weeks with 0 repairs done to to it. Now I have to wait to hear back from (BILLY) to return my check they deposited with out my consent. This place of business needs to work on their communication if the customers is the form of their business why not call them back when said they would. I'll make this short and sweet. - My car took two months to fix even though it should have been done in 3 weeks - It got delayed again after it was "ready" because my insurance guy pointed out to them that they forgot to replace my broken wheel - Now, I'm still having problems with my car (suspension problems, things got installed wrong, some parts just weren't bolted down at all) and they're refusing to pay for me to get it fixed Don't go here. They told us they took the car to Bob Howard Acura for a computer scan and they lied. They caused alot of damage to our vehicle that THEY HAD TO REPAIR AND REPLACE! It was so bad that our insurance company has put out announcements to the area agencies that Bob Howard Collision is not to be used to repair any vehicles for FARMERS! Farmers is a huge company! This is a very disappointed review with the professional attitude of how customers are treated , after doing business with this company purchasing vehicles from both the lots at Honda and CDJR AND NOW the collision center from the reception staff and the assistant manager their demeanors do not reflect what customer service and low level of customer relation, the most recent visit for hail damage has taken on what is goin on 3 weeks, an issue with the payment miss understanding went even further when the receptionist insisted that my insurance had issued a check and the check was not issued to them. Made me wonder and feel as if I was trying to rip off the insurance company and them as well. They made me feel as if I was a thief. As of yet I could not re take possession of my car until they see a check in hand. I was put on a very embarrassing moment in front of other customers present. I have done business with this clown outfit for the last time over the past 4 years I have serviced my vehicles and purchased 2 vehicles from them, it's disappointing to have to put up with these people. It's terrible just like the cabin filter on my car that was expensive and it was $65.00 actual cost was 11 dollars at auto zone. Just a bit of an example of fair and dishonest service. The fiance Manager was so nice in the beginning, but ended up treating us like garbage, lying the entire time to us and passed us off to another person. Horrible customer service. They do not care if you are satisfied or not, they just want your money. I took my car to them to get hail damage repaired. Upon receiving my car back from them I noticed a new dent in the quarter panel that was not there when I gave the car to them. The guy I talked to scoffed at the notion that it wasn't present when I dropped the car off and told me I would have to pay them to fix it. They are very unprofessional and do not care about customer satisfaction. They want to get as many vehicles in and out as possible to make their money. This shop lacks customer service. Poor quality in workmanship as far as letting a vehicle leave without seatbelt bolted to floor.

No customer service. Manager Billy lacks integrity!! Took our car to be fixed, said it would take 3 days...after 15 days car was supposedly ready. Went to pick up car and was told it was inspected by 2 people and the manager...everyone said it was fine. I have never worked in a body shop, nor do I have a keen eye to see damage...however, I immediately saw a dent and scrape in paint where panel was replaced. We told Ashley, girl over our case, that we needed the blind side mirror fixed as well...4 separate times....still wasn't fixed when we went to pick car up. Billy, manager, told me Ashley was fired and not going to be around after Sept 1. Finally after 26 days, our car was supposedly ready again. Guess who's still working there...yep, Ashley. Panel looked ok, blind side mirror worked...but then I read the paperwork...they broke the back glass mirror during repairs and had to replace back glass. Windows were tinted...when they replaced the back glass...no tint...didn't contact us to let us know. Just tried to slip it by us. I could go on and on with more and more horrible things that happened to us...Please don't go here...they do not know what they are doing...take an eternity to fix anything, and are far from honest.
