Was given Steven Tyler's number by a friend when the transmission on my 2018 Silverado started to go. It was a big expense, but they did their best to cut costs for me. They rebuilt my transmission and had me on the road in just a few days. It's a major expense any way you slice it, but the transmission I have now is better than a new factory one would have ever been, as the transmission was recalled not long after it left the line. A friend's car died in the middle of the road, but was able to restart about 10 minutes later. AutoZone recommended we go here. Stephen, the owner, was very friendly. He told us up front that he was booked solid for the next few days, but asked for a little more detail. Based on that, he said that the switch resets itself, but he could check it for free if the car died again. He also noticed my car was low on power steering fluid and offered to top it off for free. He explained everything in ways we could understand, never talking over our heads or acting smug because he knows more than us. His service center is very clean and professional. He seems to me like the kind of mechanic who is completely open about what options you have, from what it takes to get your car running to what's needed to keep it running, and the prices of those options. I feel like Stephen is the kind of mechanic that can become a friend. I don't live in MWC, but he is now my first choice for repairs. read more

Took my car to rapid repair service for a timing belt and water pump job on my Toyota 4 runner. I'm my own mechanic so there was no need to take it anywhere but I didn't have time to do it myself so I took it to them. I supplied my own parts from the Toyota dealership just to make sure they don't purchase any parts less than OEM quality for my vehicle. However their rules are if you supply parts they won't warranty it. Which is understandable because people will bring in crap parts, they'll brake, then they will blame the mechanic. I didn't do that so I know my complaint is valid, they can't blame it on the parts. My 1st complaint is the job took them longer than they promised and when I would call to check in on their progress you could tell they were rushing the job because to their excuse "It had rusty bolt's". When I go to pick it up the second I turn the car on I can hear this loud screeching noise I've never heard before. I asked the mechanic to take it back in and look at it, he did, then comes back out and gives me a silly explanation for why my car was making noises. He told me that because I had new parts in my engine it was going to make those noises. Obviously that's bull crap, your car doesn't start screeching when you replace something unless you do it wrong. How do I know? Because I work on cars. Anyway, I left it alone and basically just waited till I had time to get it done the right way because they weren't going to warranty it. 3 months later my car was already overheating and spewing coolant everywhere in my engine bay. Sure enough it was found that they stripped my engine block bolts so one of the pulleys was grinding into the fan shroud and making that loud screeching noise I was hearing, the water pump was leaking and they also broke a chunk off of my harmonic balancer. The job was rushed, proven by the broken pulley, fan shroud, harmonic balancer and the leaky water pump only three months later. I know I'm not over exaggerating because I even found a pair of their tools stuck in my engine bay while replacing it again. Pictures of the broken parts and tool are down below . BEWARE. Rip off. If you're lucky they actually do the work they charge for. Should have learned my lesson when they charged 325 for a radiator swap. Thing broke less than a month later and had it replaced at a different place for 125!! Yeah did not stand behind their work. Disgusting considering they charged over +150% of what should be charged for the work. This time around they charged me an arm and a leg for work they did not do because my car broke down from failure of the original part they never swapped out!!! So not only do you get ripped off, they are committing consumer fraud, possibly even rising to criminally negligent Stay clear. read more

I've taken my 1999 Honda CR-V here many times. Ever since my first visit they have had the best quality service I've ever received from a mechanic shop and I appreciate them. I only go to them now. I've taken my car for several issues I couldn't do like I had a really bad oil leak from a bad oil pan gasket as well as around the timing gasket seal, and had my inner tie rod end assemblies, front complete struts, outer tie rod ends, and driver side axle shaft cv joint replaced and they have done such a great job I have not had any issues with any of their work. They also give you a call letting you know what they have found and a plan of what they would do and costs. They are very professional and friendly and their quality of work is far better than most others I'd highly recommend them to anyone i know. read more
