This place is running on a whim. It's season and they're running the restaurant on on station and waiting a line time for food. Customers complaining and the manager is the expediter and has no clue about the floor or e service that they are setting by running this restaurant this way. Bob Evans is.... Bob Evans; a chain country style diner/restaurant. I always enjoy my meal hear and have had many after church family lunches. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I love breakfast it is my favorite meal. Bob Evans has excellent breakfast. The only negative is service is slow at times. On my visit today I sat at the counter. We Had breakfast there this morning greeted by a older blonde server Are you from Boston? Yes we are. She started a anti political conversation we ordered our food . She never came back with second coffees or asked our food was good or bought the bill. We hD to go to cashier before get bill to pay . THE WORST MANAGEMENT & PROFESSIONALISM EVER TO EXIST! I never usually choose to yelp chain restaurants, however I have had multiple bad experiences at this location. First bad experience included arriving 20 minutes after placing a phone order, and unfortunately upon arrival, the lovely new waitress who took our phone order, never actually entered our order into the system...No problem! Things happen! HOWEVER, I had to wait an additional 25 minutes (with an office of hungry time conscious staff awaiting) for our food. The manager came over to the waitress who took the order and reamed the poor girl in front of me for making an error, AND never compensated or accommodated me for the inconvenience. THEN on a late, rainy, Sunday morning, after a long night out, my girlfriends and I were in search of a greasy, hot meal, so we decided on the convenient meeting point of Bob Evans....WORSE service ever! Although entertaining, our server was high as a kite, lol, and continued to forget items of our order, and bringing us the wrong meals....To top it off, when we arrived at the podium to pay our bill, the machine was down, so one of the managers came over and got all flustered and fresh with the checkout lady. Needless to say, we had to wait almost 20 minutes just to pay our bill while the line was filling up the lobby, not accommodating any of the customers. There was no social distance on the table seatings. They had plenty of room to spread us out and the server needs to learn how to be a good waiter, she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. Had ordered a curbside takeout meals and they were 25 minutes later than the time we were given online. The young person who answered the phone when I arrived for pick up claimed they were busy and yet there were only a handful of cars in the lot and no one in the curbside pick up area . Now let's get to the food . The little steak and shrimp had the flavor of nothing as they were both overcooked and not a hint of flavor. Bob - I call him Bob - got a little fast and loose with the trendy breakfast selections recently. So I orderd the eggs in a bisquit, featured smack in the middle of the menu alongside a huge photo that was supposed to close the deal. Eggs, meat, spinach, tomato were scrambled and poured into a bisquit shell. I had my companion identify the runny stuff that was drizzled on top. Gravy? omg, a weird version of bisquits and gravy. This place was bumping on a Sunday morning but I wouldn't expect any different seeing it's located right off I-75. The wait was long since the masses wanted their brunch so we opted to sit at the bar and service was pretty quick and consistent. I ordered my go to at Bob Evans, the Wild Fire Chicken Salad and love that they have two size options but the salad wasn't as good as I remembered it which is just sadness. It came with a slice of ginger bread that was absolutely delightful though so that was some redemption from ole' Bobby. All in all a good location! read more

Reminds me of being a kid. Good old fashioned American style food. Ordered their $10 3 course dinner. They give you options to choose from. I chose: cheese potato soup (velveta and diced potatoes - ehh); country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy (really good actually); desert: ice cream with chocolate fudge (simple and tasty); and all you can eat bread assortment. This place has gone downhill fast. I used to come here a lot 5 or so years ago and the food and restaurant were amazing... Now, not so much. I've ordered to-go a few times in the last year and they forget items. The last time we ate here after church, they took forever to seat us, the service was spotty, and they happened to serve a nice lady next to us a very raw egg. Bob Evans makes the best sausage gravy bar none. Generally the service is exemplary. However, the last two visits were marred by poor service. Today's visit was bad. The very cheery young waitress, took our order. I was very specific what I wanted. She repeated it back and we both understood my order. Shortly thereafter she delivered the biscuits and sausage gravy. This was well before my country fried steak and eggs. But, she neglected to bring plates on which to eat. When prompted, she brought the plates. A bit later, my wife's omelet and my order came out. Hers was fine, mine had the milk gravy that I specifically did not want. I said so, she apologized. Picked it up and took an order from the guy behind us. Obviously no urgency to correct my order as the sausage gravy in the bowl cooled. She did stop back to tell us it was on its way as my wife was finishing her omelet. Good not great food. This is the closest place to me that I can come close to a southern style country breakfast. I like the biscuits and gravy a lot. The eggs and the hashbrowns are a little plain and could us more seasoning. I do give them kudos for their online ordering system and curbside takeout. Bob Evans is okay. When they do what they're supposed to, it's fine. My major issue is that they will have something that I absolutely love, and then it disappears. Maybe it comes back, maybe it does not. An example would be there Memphis Rub chicken. It was phenomenal. Now it's gone. They used to have the best tomato basil soup I ever tasted in the whole wide world. Because of them I started adding shredded parmesan everytime I have tomato basil soup anywhere. It disappeared. Now it's back! However, they obviously changed the recipe and it's not as good. And now parmesan is an upcharge. Very disappointed. However, this was dinner. I don't have issues when I come for breakfast, especially now that they added hash browns a couple years ago. read more

My family and I eat at Bob Evans at least once, sometimes twice a week. The food and service are consistently wonderful. (They have the absolute BEST biscuits and gravy I've ever tasted!) We usually eat a late breakfast, but if you get there before 11AM on weekends, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for a table--especially during snowbird "season" in Naples (October-March/April). It's THAT good!! The place is always clean and well-maintained. You can tell whoever's in charge actually cares about the establishment, which is pleasantly surprising for a chain restaurant. I love that the managers are proactive. They table hop to see how customers are doing, and we've even seen them help servers by refilling drinks and bringing food when things are busy. On slow days, they stop to briefly chat with us. They remember our faces, and it's very welcoming. We have never had a bad experience at this location. I highly recommend it. read more

My little one loves Bob Evans it's our spot for breakfast even if it's for dinner. I have always had great service and good food

So this is my Grandmother's favorite restaurant in naples. She's 98. She likes the pot roast and the turkey. If it makes her happy, I think that's great. I ordered a pot pie. Now think back to what you think a pot pie is vegetables and chicken in a rich sauce topped with a flakey crust. It's moist. It has carrots, green beans, chunks of potatoes, maybe corn and it's very saucy. Not this one. Nope. It was dry as a bone with 5 chunks of chicken. I didn't want to complain but after the waitress came back 25 minutes and said, "wasn't that delicious. It's the best thing on our menu" I said absolutely not. She said no? I said no! It was salty and dry. She said ok. Here's your bill. I go to pay the check and the person to check us out is taking a phone order for a large football team. It took us 10 minutes to be rung up. On the other hand, the manager offered me a To-go cup for my drink while my grandmother was standing at her walker waiting. Ps... she had just had a new hip put in. I know she'll want to go back next week. I'm dreading this already. Being from Ohio, you have expectations of "Bob's." This place will totally let you down. we hadnt been to Bob Evans in a while.. so we were in the area at lunch... so i tried one of the newish(?) breakfast bowl concoctions.. sausage biscuit bowl... first thing i noticed was a liberal sprinkling of chopped green onion on top..with cheddar cheese ..a little strange i thought..then the "gravy" was a dark grey gravy..not like a usual white sausage gravy i was expecting..it tasted ok tho.. then it was a layer of egg and sausage with some diced potatoes thrown in..then another layer of the gravy... then u get to a large round "biscuit" under the bottom..just not what i thought of when i saw "biscuits and gravy" but it was good my wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich.. all in all it was ok..just a little different... read more

We used to dine here regularly, but service has become horrible and now we found hair in our food! The latest was a hair in our green beans, it made us sick to our stomachs! I contacted their corporate office and they didn't care about thr awful service and hair in our food! This place is troublesome. Every time we go which is not often, to 'give it another try' we walk out saying we're never going back. We tried again this morning and was told there was a wait when there were lots of open tables and no one waiting in line... To begin we entered in at 12:40 it took someone to notice is until 12:47 but when the waiter arrived at the table to take our order he made up for it by taking our order for our drink and our main dish. He finished taking 6 orders at 12:50. We received our drinks at 12:53 The coffee was excellent and the milk was satisfying the table didn't have any sugar left but the waiter kindly brought 2 hand fills of sugar packets. 1:17 2 of my family members receive their meal but the rest of us don't. 1:19 my two family members both receive their meals leaving me and my cousin's meal left, my cousin's meal came out at 1:21. Finally I received my meal at 1:24 when my meal was visible at the counter since 1:15. The food was okay but when I decided to use ketchup, the bottle was empty so I had to get up just to get some because our waiter wouldn't even pass by our table. My family said "the potato are raw and burnt the bacon was burnt to a crisp" also the music in the place was garbage. In conclusion my time here was not even satisfactory it was actually below satisfactory here is the exact charts for the whole meal itself. I normally visit this location and the food and service is good. This morning was a complete disaster. My parents are in from out of town and I had bragged about how much they would like it. They were somewhat busy and all the waiter had to say when we waited over 10 minutes just to get our drinks was "we only have one cook". I was ready to walk out but my mom didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so we stayed. We waited almost 1/2 hour for our food which was ok at best. Super disappointed!! read more
