I stopped going to Bob Evans for almost 10 years because food quality seemed lower but prices went higher. I recently gave them another chance. It was awesome. I wanted the chicken tender meal. They told me they were out of them so I ordered something else. But as we were there eating they got the chicken tenders back on and made me a order of them for free. If you haven't been here for a while give them another chance. We've been back 3 more times and everything has been great. Plus if you have a lot of kids. Kids meals are 6.99, and they come with a drink and ice cream. My wife , 2 kids and myself can usually eat here for around 38 dollars before tip and get good serving sizes. read more

my family and I are there every Sunday, the past few visits has been horrific, this past Sunday we waited an hour and a half for our food and when we got it, it was cold, so we will not be back in there again we're going to go other places, this Bob Evans is pot and we're not the only ones that are saying this you better that place up or it's gone down. Our host and server were great, and the food was okay. However there was a manager there named Deon that was extremely rude not only to us, but to the employees working. Bad service took about 10 minutes to just get 4 waters and then we waited over 45 minutes for our food. This was during a slow time for business it was about 3:00 and we were one of two tables. One dude who was working there was just standing there the whole time doing nothing. During the time waiting for our food not once did our waitress come up and let us know anything or offer us any more water or anything. And when we got the first part of our meal finally, we were not provided utensils. The food was ok the eggs were pretty cold. Overall terrible service and subpar food. read more

We have ordered delivery from this location 3 or 4 times over the last couple of months. Every time the food has been very good. The banana nut pancakes (pictured) are some of the best pancakes I've ever had, and they are even shockingly good when delivered. (Note: They are pictured here before adding any butter, syrup, etc.) The rest of the food has been pretty good, too. Our orders have included hash browns, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, over-easy eggs, and biscuits, all of which have been decent to very good. Here's why I took it down one star: One time we wanted to order delivery and the website was broken. When we called to order they said they could take an order for pickup over the phone but not delivery. Also, one time the sausage patties were kind of burned, and one time an entree was missing from our order. (When I called them they refunded that item to my credit card.) But my food ham, sausage, and bacon was ok, but my pancakes, hashbrowns, and eggs had no flavor and left me wondering where it went. I just want my food to be hot and ready. I'm sorry, I hate leaving 1 star reviews but I have to be honest. We've been to location and many others including the farm location in Bidwell, OH. This particular location is terrible. From the slow and somewhat rude service to the dry food, I can't believe this location is still open. The first couple times we thought it was just an off day but they are seriously consistent at being terrible. A few years ago you might have gotten an apologetic waitress/waiter and someone who cares and is friendly but I feel like all those people are gone. We've been in a couple times after not going there for over a year and it seems even worse. Now it's dirty and people seem to care even less. Employees will walk right by you when you're standing there waiting to be seated then act like you're bothering them by wanting to eat there. I don't understand how it got this bad, I really hope things change. There are other locations close enough that I'd suggest choosing one of those if you're really in the mood for Bob Evans. read more

Over the last year the quality of food from this location has declined significantly. No matter if we dine in or carry out, the food overall is just not worth the time and hard earned money. Today was definitely the last time we as a family will be eating Bob Evans. Last summer and fall the food was amazing to the point we were almost in there every Sunday but that changed quickly. In April or so was the last time we dinned in, because the food tased like a dirty grill. It was horrible. I spoke with the manager about it, not in an attempt to get a discounted meal or anything of the sort, but to give honest feedback so that the quality and standard can be lifted back up. We took a break from there and today we thought let's try it and see if things have changed, and unfortunately that was not the case. I truly hope they can figure it out and make the necessary changes but I'm not very hopeful. With SOOOOOO many other options for family dining restaurants there is simply no reason to waste your time at this location. We found a beautiful breakfast restaurant called the "Olympic diner" that has wonderful food, wonderful people, and very affordable. read more

This is absolutely the worst location locally. The manager has nothing vested personally and could care less about the quality of service. We ordered take out tonight and they forgot my syrup, ranch dressing for our salads and gravy for the mashed potatoes. The cashier blew me off to wait on a guy who just walked in the restaurant because she knew him by name. The food was sub par and my French toast was disgusting as it tasted like they cooked it with fish, yuck !! Won't return as this is not the same establishment I used to enjoy eating at on a frequent basis. We went to Bob Evans, is was about 7pm they werentcreally busy maybe 7 or 8 booths occupied. Finally got a waitress to stop by to get our drink order. She returned shortly and wanted to know if we were ready to order. We ordered took awhile but finally got our food, mine was ok but they hot my g/f wrong...took back to make right. The waitress never did come back after afew minutes to check and see if everything was all right etc..... had to flag her down to get refills on our drinks. And had yo flag her down to order desert.... I'm mean really how long does it take to get 2 pieces of coconut cream pie...its already made cut...just need to take a server to place on a plate......no it takes 12 to 15 minutes. A very poor experience at breakfast. Our server was very slow, and never brought several of our items to us. Had to go to the desk just to get syrup for the pancakes. And Lillie, the server only had two other small tables. So she wasn't overly busy. Just very poorly attentive. The coffee was also terrible. Very bitter and obviously had been brewed hours ago and held. By the end of the meal we still didn't get some of pur sides & had to go to the front for several of the things we did get. If I could give a negative rating I would. I moved away five years ago and when I come back I always hit the old favorites and I'm afraid the Bob Evans I grew up with is gone!! What a horrible experience! Dirty table and silverware to start. Then I ordered the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with white gravy and my wife ordered chicken pot pie. After 20 min waitress comes back and lets us know there is no more pot pies! Waitress was about 20 years past the time to retire and had no idea what she was doing. So my wife got the pot roast dinner and food came out and her pot roast was nothing but griddle and fat. She asked to send it back for more meat to be put on. My fried chicken came out a a single piece of griddled chicken and no white gravy?? Waitress swore up and down that's what I ordered???? Not worth the fight when they have no idea the difference between griddled and fried chicken?! I don't think she could pick a chicken out of a lineup?! My wife's second plate of pot roast came back and it was so cold it was almost frozen!?! Plus looked like the chef microwaved it?? Waitress agreed and said chef laughed at her when she went to complain and then sat in the window smiling at us making fun of us!!!! What a dope! Dude your a line cook at Bob Evans! Enough said!! Manager came over apologized and knew the crap we just got served but seemed powerless! Took my wife's dish off. But when walking out agreed it was crap and did not charge us. I happened to be on this side of town and attempted this Bob Evans again to find out things have not improved. Short answer: no. Total chaos up front, the waiting area was packed with folks (at least 5 parties, total of 18 people at least) waiting to be seated on a Tuesday night about 7:00 pm, and no greeter, and maybe more telling, manager, in sight. After 4-5 minutes of being ignored we decided if the front was being let go so badly there was no reason to expect anything else to go any better so we high-tailed it out of there. Not many good restaurants over in Georgesville Square, this one included. Came in 1/2 hour before closing, but we were hoping to see if we could get quick service since we didn't want to keep them. Stood at the front waiting for 10 minutes. Had 3 different waitresses pass us multiple times over. Finally, one came over and seated us.....at a dirty table. She also set our silverware on top of the menu. Kinda dirty, especially during these times. Sat for another 10 minutes. No service. We saw a waitress at a table behind us explaining something. I said, " Looks like they're having problems too." We ended up deciding to head out, due to the lack of service. As we got back in our car, the table of people that had troubles with the waitress were standing and putting coats on. Seems like they were done with the poor service as well.
