Always reliable!! I have used the Bruton screen service 3x over the last 30+ years, and they have been predictably excellent!! Kathy did the repair while I was at the facility, and I was back in the car in 15 minutes!! Can't think of many services that can get the job done as efficiently!! Thank you so much!! I'll be back in another 10 years!! read more

I am very happy with the customer service level and quality of work I received from Kathy and Bob. They were very responsive and worked with me to ensure my cats could not get out of the house. I recommend this business for screen work without hesitation. Thank you Kathy and Bob read more

Bob Bruton Screen Service - Finished screens - Windows Installation Near Me - Torrance, California

A small family business that treats customers like family. Consistently first-rate work at reasonable prices for years. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our home and rental properties. --Robert G. - San Pedro read more

I checked with several companies to have the screen on my sliding screen door replaced and all of them quoted at least 5 days to do the job, many more than a week. Bob Bruton did the job in one day, the quality was excellent, and they charged a very reasonable price. They're also easy to work with. They've recently moved their shop from Lomita to Torrance and are even more convenient for me now. I've used them before but they're now my go-to screen repair shop. read more

Spoke to Kathy regarding my dilemma with a Hale Pet screen door installation project. She was an absolute delightful and professional person to work with. I would highly recommend this company for all your needs. I truly do believe they would go above and beyond to help with potential customers. read more

Did an amazing job. Screens were done perfectly and were done before the projected date! Outstanding!

Found them while searching to re-screen my patio doors and a couple of windows. Noticed that mobile screen repair places were quite pricey. If you are willing to remove and drive over your screens, you will save a lot of money. They did a great job in just a few days and showed me a pet-proof screen that my pups won't break through. Glad I found them and happy to support a small local business. They were friendly and helpful and I highly recommend for the value and quality. read more

Needed 5 screens repaired. $98 and seven days later they were done. Great small business with reasonable prices. If you can wait a week I would recommend taking your screens here instead of using the mobile screen repair places. read more

Bob came over to replace two window screens our cats had destroyed. He recommended a stronger screen made to resist pet clawing. When he delivered the new screens he wasn't satisfied with how they fit so he went back and made two newer ones. That's a credit to his professionalism and ethics. The first set made would have been fine but a little loose fitting, but they were not up to his standards. Very affordable and great communication with his wife arranging the visits. Complete satisfaction. And a real friendly guy! read more

Brought one screen in with a hole and asked for another screen to be made based on my aluminum window. The new screen fit perfectly with the springs all around. They got the screen made in a timely manner. read more

Great little mom and pop type screen business who do a great job. Just needed a bathroom window screen replaced and they got it for me in two days. Didn't think a screen could be beautiful but it looks great. They usually ask that you call when you arrive since COVID and they usually are working in the back. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service and screens. I needed 4 screens that at a glance would appear to be the same size, but they were all slightly different. Kathy was very accommodating. They made 1 screen that I picked up and used to test the other windows. I gave them the adjustments for the remaining windows and the were ready for pickup in 2 days and fit perfectly. They even labeled them. Just in time for the heat wave. read more

Shoutout to this great family owned business. Initially I took in 2 screens which I had a hard time removing and then I couldn't get back in my windows. Bob came out and waved his magic wand and got the screens in! He did confirm my windows were challenging so it wasn't me. I had him measure for 3 more screens and he came back to install. Very professional and helpful company. Note that it does cost extra to have him come to your house but well worth it. read more

Bob Bruton Screen Service - Window screen - Windows Installation Near Me - Torrance, California

Lovely family owned business . Very Kind and helpful people. Today, even though they didn't have the mortise that I needed for my security screen door they told me how to get that part quickly. I was impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of the products they sell. I will remember their helpfulness and will definitely give them my future business. read more

Took a huge screen to be fixed. They were fast, professional, and they go up and beyond. Will continue to recommend your business.

I'm very happy with the job they did replacing my sliding screen door. There were some minor challenges because it was an older door and the track was a little messed up but the new door went in without a problem. They're very honest and fair too! read more

Excellent service for repair of sliding screen doors! Dropped off on Monday morning and were ready on Tuesday afternoon!!

Amazing!!! These guys are awesome and constantly get me out of a bind. I work for a local window and door dealer in Torrance, and occasionally I run into small "challenges" and require outside assistance. I have used Bob's services several times over the last couple of year and he very rarely told me he can't take on a service. He has reworked screens in the field, custom made screens for my customer, and provided overall assistance. They also will travel to look at jobs onsite(not sure the charges for these site visits/work)....100% recommended to everyone in the southbay. read more

Talk about excellent customer service, professional work, a quality product, all for a great price! My dog put a hole through my window screen and while attempting to fix the screen, I completely broke the cheap plastic frame. I took the dimensions of my window (not the screen) to Bob Briton's Screen Service and was tactfully and professionally corrected on my error. I went home and came back with the corrected size. This was on a Tuesday afternoon and my screen was ready Saturday morning of the same week. The dimensions of my screen were 37 7/8in x 42 7/8in and the final cost was $40 and change. I am so happy with my screen and I can now leave my window open without all the mosquitos and bugs flying in. Good thing I didn't order the wrong size! Thank you Bob Bruton's Screen Service! read more

Prompt service, reasonably priced and the lady who works the shop is very friendly. Would definitely use again!

Great small local business. Service was quick and prices are more than fair. We'll definitely bring go back and highly recommend them

Bob and Kathy are awesome! We came down with some screen doors that had damaged rollers. They fixed them on the spot! They did a fantastic job and were really nice. They focused on the repair, and not trying to up sell us new doors. Very honest people. I will absolutely always come here in the future. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you so much for such fast service, and very friendly professional customer service. They went over and beyond to help me with measurements and even surprised me with installing screens themselves. Thank you again. I am a customer for life, and definitely will recommend to my family and friends. read more

I took my window screen to a hardware store that said on the front window "we Repair/Replace screens" after 5 weeks, I requested a refund and tookbtge screen to Bob Bruton Screen Service, and 5 days later it was back in my window. Bravo! read more

The slider to our west facing deck is over 20 years old and the screen was very worn and needed replacing. I called the company who had installed it and they were no help and neither was Milgard. I called another place that I had done business with and they referred me to BBSC. I called them and brought over my old screen and ordered a new much better one with brass rollers and a screen that my cat can't damage. Two weeks later I picked up my new screen. After a little adjusting it works perfectly and slides so smoothly. Thanks BBSC! read more

These days you can't just buy pre-made window screens at Home Depot or Lowe's, or even have them made to order...you can only buy kits to make them yourself, which is a MAJOR pain. Bob Bruton Screen Service is AWESOME. They've been at this for a long time and know exactly what they're doing. They are very accommodating and prices are reasonable. I'm so glad I was referred here and will continue returning to eventually replace all the screens in our 1960s homes with period-correct materials and styles and I will never struggle again with trying to do them myself! read more

Fantastic service, period. I have a cat that decided to do his Kool-Aid man impression on a sliding patio screen door. I spoke to Cathy on a Saturday to inquire about repairing the screen. She provided me with a fair estimate and asked I bring the door in so they could take a look at it. Long story short, I was prepared to pay the full tilt for the screen replacement. When Cathy called for me to pick it up, she told me they were able to use and reinstall the current screen on the frame and resecure it using larger hardware. The cost was substantially less than what I was ready to pay. They even stand behind their product, as I was told that if the screen doesn't remain secure, they'll count what I paid for the repair towards a complete replacement. Times are tough all around right now and people talk about supporting the small town businesses. Well this is one of them. You need a screen repaired or replaced? Give Bruton's a call. read more

Had three screens repaired. They look great and had them hanging back up the next day.

Friendly and courteous service. Couple of small goofs on my order, but they were fixed on the spot. Prices are very reasonable.

Really rude and sarcastic staff. Will not be going back there. Unfortunately you have to give at least one star or else I would leave the stars empty read more

Ok, I'll admit that having a broken window screen is nowhere near as tragic as having a broken iPhone screen, but when the former is your problem this place is the friendly, fast and fair solution. Kathy was quick, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. read more

I ordered a custom sliding screen door. I was assured this was a "top of the line, high quality, heavy duty" sliding screen door. It wasn't. I picked it up and installed it on Monday and the door didn't fit, in fact it was falling apart as I installed it. The frame was coming apart, the screen mesh was loose and the wheels for the track wouldn't work. I called the owner that very moment and had to leave a message. Never got a return call. I called the following day. They wanted to charge me to have someone come out and take a look, which was never mentioned when I ordered it. I just paid $$$ for a custom screen and now I have to pay more. I tried to get them to meet me half way, I will pay for half of the service fee. She declined and offered no further resolution. So I returned the door. I asked for a refund. They were rude and disrespectful. They wouldn't return my old screen until I threatened to call the cops. read more

Great job. Picked up replacement window screen, ready on time. They gave me help when I had trouble installing it myself. Thanks Bob and Kathy! read more

I was tired of looking at the holes in my screen door so I looked for help on Yelp. The reviews for Bob's Burton Screen Service seemed positive. I called for a quote and a time estimate for the repair. Cathy was informative and gave me a very fair price for their expertise. She said it could take up to a day depending on the current workload, but they were finished within two hours. As I went to pickup up my screen door, multiple customers were arriving at the same time and leaving satisfied with their repaired window screens. Bob's seemed to be a long established neighborhood business, doing things "The Right Way". Thanks for your help. read more

Looking for a screen door for French doors, something that didn't "hide" the door. As they are a local business thought I would give them a try. I must say from the get go everything was very smooth. They came out measured the door and then got the quote and then ordered. it took about three weeks to get the door, had to be custom made and about 2 1/2 hours to install. read more
