    Making signs
    Rebecca K.

My Mother's Day surprise was making signs at this darling location. My son chose what we did online but once you're there you can see the mini clever examples of things you were able to make. I was very anxious because I am the least crafty person you'll ever meet. However, they tell you, you don't have to be crafty. And, they are right! We had so much fun and the signs look awesome. The staff Are friendly, attentive, and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

My friend and I went for a canvas tote paint night. The totes were high quality and came out great. I did feel like I was being rushed, and slightly ignored by the teacher. The class started at 6pm, we got ther about 10 of and it had already started and we were kind of just thrown into it. Granted, its a fairly simple process, but it just felt a bit rushed and unorganized. We didn't sign in for the class until we were ready to leave....I would still try another class

What a great place for date night or day with the girls! I've been here twice for both date night and girls day out and had such a blast. Such a unique place in the area. I've now done the doormat class and traditional pick your own board class. Both were fun but I definitely liked making the board better. No artistic experience necessary -- You get a stencil that you paint onto the board and it comes out perfectly! Hanging in your home, it looks beautiful and professional.

I took my mom here for a (late) Christmas present. We signed up for a Friday night class that started at 6:30. Before attending class, you must visit the website and choose a design and let them know about any customization you want (my mom had her last name in the design.) We arrived right on time at 6:30, checked in, and were taken to our table where the wood for our signs were already laid out, with a large stencil of the design on top. The class was fun- we got to distress, build, stain, sand, stencil, and paint our designs. Everything that we needed was provided. This place is BYOB & BYOF(ood) but we didn't know that prior to going. Next time we will definitely pack a few drinks and snacks. The class was about three hours long and we were able to leave with out finished product. I gave this establishment 4 stars because we did feel a little neglected at our spots in the corner. While the instructors did some whole-group instruction, most of the instruction was done individually as everyone is at a slightly different spot. Often times throughout the class, my mom and I had to "wing it" as we couldn't find an instructor to help us out. Luckily, we have experience with staining and stenciling- but it might be a little overwhelming for a newbie!

Edited to remove my last name, lol

Laurie really makes the back experience worthwhile. She was great at helping the group and teaching us what to do. The clay pendant class was nice. When I got home I quickly "liked" her Facebook page and was amazed at not only the number but the variety of classes that Laurie offers. For only having a brick and mortar location since May 2016 - she has tapped into a market for those of us whom want to be creative but don't want to just sit and paint. From creating your own laundry detergent to designing your own jewelry, Laurie has created a variety of class for every age imaginable. I also recently attending a Sunday Yoga and Craft class (which I believe is going to be a monthly event). An hour of relaxing and gentle yoga followed by crafting (that day we made glass magnets) is the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The class was intimate and I loved Laurie's energy and positivity. Can't wait to sign up for another class soon!
