My husband and I checked in a couple days ago and I can't say enough about the owners. Old-fashioned hospitality at its best. The grounds are extremely clean. The Wife makes some amazing desserts and pastries from scratch. We are staying in the RV park with our travel trailer but can't wait until our friends and family come up and stay in the small cabins they are very clean and adorable. Looking forward to our month here.

Wow. The best. So comfortable I slept like a baby! You drive up a long dusty road, seemingly in the middle of nowhere and come across 6 or so adorable cabins, that have every amenity you could possibly think of. There is also an RV park, and if I had an RV, believe me this is where I would be staying. Not only were your private cabins adorable, well decorated, and cozy, but they make you the most amazing Swedish breakfast in the morning. So many home made things I can't even describe. I had read about the breakfast on Yelp so made sure I was hungry when I went and I'm glad I did. I will definitely be back anytime I am passing through and need a place to stay, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cedar City.

    Dog friendly.

We stayed here one night passing through in mid May. What a fantastic surprise. We opted for one of their cabins as they were practically brand new and super clean. As mentioned, the couple that run this are from Switzerland and they have very high standards for cleanliness. We were finishing up a two week tour from Yellowstone and can say this was by far our favorite RV park. First off, it's quite small and not much for onsite activities other than mother nature itself. This is more suitable to my wife and I; quiet, clean, and simply close to nature. The big surprise was the next morning they make this incredible Swiss breakfast, much of it was homemade, from the Mueslix, Cheeses, Sausages, baked goods (best croissants!) plus coffee and juice. All included and the company was even better to hear their story how they went from Switzerland to the small town of Cedar City in Utah. They are avid hikers. These are the kind of businesses you want to see succeed. Our dogs loved having more room to spread out for the night.

This is a hilltop view of the cabins and RV Park.

The breakfast is outstanding! Fresh and homemade schmorgesborg of breakfast meats & breads, croissants, and muffins. The fresh muessel with fruit is a must-try. Top quality coffee selection & imported cheese. Farm-fresh eggs to order. Friendly warm-welcoming quaint place to stay just in the mountains of Cedar City. These cute little cabins have all the essentials, plus a little extra privacy. The onsite BBQ is really good. Beautiful RV Park as well. Everything is new and clean.

The property allows for privacy and connection to the outdoors including starry clear nights, yet is very close to restaurants just down the street. The proprietors are lovely people who offer a cozy, friendly and refreshing experience. As one who has traveled Europe, I appreciated the fantastic breakfast and small touches. Just a bit about the breakfast for you foodies: A full breakfast of authentic Swiss and French cheeses (loved the aged gruyère), home made sausage and meats, boiled and made-to-order eggs, artisan European breads, a variety of spreads, a wonderful new way to eat oatmeal (creamy but light and fruity), along with juice and frothy hot cocoa or coffee/espresso. Satisfying, delicious and filling but no too heavy. This location is wonderful for a family gathering, or couple escape. The rooms are cozy and classy. Lots of room for kids to run and hike. The value is fantastic. We will be back!

    Love the attention to detail!

My surge protector would shut down after detecting unsafe or no proper ground connection. I spoke with the owner, Steve, about the electrical problem and the sad thing is he is aware of the issue and continues to assign guests here. I do not know why you would do this from a business standpoint considering the liability implications. Steve said his past customers with surge protectors were unable to hook up here as well, so he suggested I hook up without a surge protector because an electrician told him it looked good. After informing Steve I would absolutely not hook up without a surge protector he said I could move to another spot. Due to the first spot I was in being extremely unleveled I asked Steve which spot was most level. He pointed out a spot he believed to be more level than others. I pulled into that spot and found it to be off level by several inches in both slope and grade. This was not a relaxing or enjoyable stay. There are several long term unsightly trailers in the sites, one of which I had to track down the owner when I arrived because his truck was parked blocking the site I was assigned. I woke up to sprinklers spraying the side of my RV in the middle of the night. A simple adjustment would fix this issue, but I would not expect that to happen due to the electrical, lack of level sites and poor property maintenance issues with this location. There is also a raggedy trailer park next door, with it's own pile of special issues. The trailer park appears to be directly connected to this RV park. I would not recommend staying here and I would have been more comfortable in a Walmart parking lot.

The noise was unbearable and started early in the morning, and the area was so torn up that the grass was dead--terrible for our dogs and impossible to enjoy being outside. Management finally agreed to move us, but the new site was even worse. Someone had dumped their black tank directly on the grass, leaving raw sewage sitting there. Completely unacceptable. We had to call yet again and be moved a second time just to find a site that was usable. Instead of a relaxing weekend and enjoying the outdoor activities that Cedar City offers, we spent our time packing up, moving, and dealing with problems that should never happen at a campground that claims to be maintained. Between the constant construction, sewage mess, and poor management, this place is absolutely not worth your time or money. We won't be back, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere if you're hoping for a peaceful and sanitary stay. If I could give zero stars, I would.

We were there a month. As the month went by, it seemed to get better as the place was mowed, although not edged. If you're going to stay here, the area on the north side of the park is fine and does not have the older full time units. The pool water was always clean and nice, but cold for us. The park is in a great location, although you do hear traffic and sirens from the main st. and hospital nearby. They have great ice cream in the office with very large portions, and a trailer out front with very good coffee like a Starbucks. We had issues with the billing (being wrongly charged extra night, that got fixed after help from manager). When you stay a month, you get a break on the nightly amount but are charged for electricity and sewer. They charge to use credit card and charge to read the meter. I was charged almost twice the amount for electricity than I have been charged elsewhere. Hard to argue with since they read the meter. Because we were in the middle of month and ran a few days into the next month, we were charged another month for sewer. Luckily, RJourney 800 number removed that from our billing. The town of Cedar City was great. We went to several events in the town and loved everything about the town. Bottom line we would love to visit Cedar City again, just not there.
