I was really excited to try this place after hearing good things, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I had a couple of questions about the drinks -- like whether taro was similar to ube, and if it was sweet -- and the employee helping me seemed annoyed and uninterested. She stayed on her phone during the interaction, gave me short answers, and made me feel like I was bothering her for simply trying to understand what I was ordering. After she made my drink, I went to put the straw in, and only then was I told that I was supposed to shake it first. When I asked why she didn't mention that before, she replied, "If you drink boba and milk tea, you should know." For context, this is only my second time ever trying boba. Instead of offering helpful info or friendly service, I felt talked down to and dismissed. I was excited to try something new -- but this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth before I even sipped the drink. The boba is decent although I'm not sure you can really customize your drinks (milk, sweetness level, ice). My significant other went to this establishment while I was on the phone with her and was treated extremely poorly, to the point that it aggravated me and I wasn't even there. The man seemed nice and hospitable but the Woman was the one that took her order and was extremely rude. She asked for recommendations and got hit with "no I don't know everyone's tastes are different so if you don't like it you can go somewhere else". Go somewhere else? After asking for a simple recommendation when something like "I don't know" or even an excuse would have been nice. The owner was rude and horrible to my son and I. When I first got there I asked about a particular drink and she had a major attitude. After receiving our drinks, my sons drink spilled and I asked him to go in and get napkins. Upon asking for napkins she screamed at my son and told him to "get out!" Im upset that I have to write this poor review. I have been taking my daughter here for over a year now. We are regular customers. We go every week or every 2 weeks.For someone who is regular, we should get treated atleast with respect. The male owner is so nice. The women owner, his wife, is very rude ever since we started going there. She talks to us rude and is just so bad. The last time we went we found a ROACH in the drink and I kindly went to let the man know and he was very kind about it and remade it. I didn't get upset or make a big deal out of it because he was respectful. We will need to find another boba place for my daughter when we are on that side of town. This lady got so mad and refused to give me service and told me she would not sell me a drink without ICE very rudely and unprofessionally.
