They let my mother and I drive the car to my dad so he could check it out and then to my mechanic to have it fully checked once we ran the numbers and I decided I wanted it as long as it checked out by my mechanic. The car has a few minor cosmetic issues (small scratches in the paint) that are to be expected. The trunk latch cover had dry rotted (it's plastic and this is a common issue), Michael found us a replacement quickly and offered to have it painted as well for way cheaper than Toyota charges for just the piece. The car came with 4 brand new tires, unfortunately the previous owner had straddled a curb or something causing damage to the interior of the rim--which was causing the tire to bubble. (My mechanic found it after he lifted the car to check the bearings.) Michael and his father took off the price of a new rim and tire so we could replace them. They also gave me a very fair price for my trade. Michael, Ray, and I'm sure the others that work at Auto Showcase are amazing and honest people-- they made buying this car quick and easy...they even stayed late so we could get it all done. I highly recommend them to everyone, hands down the best car looking/buying experience I and my family has had.

For 6 years I have endured the most poorly managed service (and now parts) departments i have ever encountered. It literally takes 8 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. Good luck if you need more work done. They don't stock common parts for the most popular model. They recently had my car 5 days to replace a water pump. Now that my extended warranty is running out I do not intend to ever return there. Not to mention they speak to you as though you are a gullible idiot. What they don't know is that i have worked in a parts and service department at a dealership in the past. I actually know what goes on and how it can work smoothly. These people need to get a decent manager and start over from scratch. Avoid them until that happens.

They really took the time to educate me on the car I was considering and all of my options. It was unlike any car-buying experience I've ever had. The environment that has been created out there is obviously an excellent one as it shows through the actions of the team members. I'm happy to be a first-time Mazda owner and look forward to doing business with Gem Mazda in the future.

From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, but Nell truly stood out. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and made us feel like he was genuinely focused on helping us and not just making a sale. Nell really went above and beyond to make sure we found the perfect car for our family. He took the time to understand what we needed, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. It honestly felt like he cared more about getting us into the right vehicle than anything else. We ended up going with a pre-owned Expedition and we absolutely love it. Even though it wasn't a new car from Tallahassee DCJ, Nell was still knowledgeable on all of the features and specs which showed me that he takes his job seriously. If you're looking for an stress-free, positive car-buying experience, I can't recommend Nell at Tallahassee DCJ enough. This was the 4th car we've bought from them and we'll definitely be coming back in the future!

The truck then suffered a total drivetrain failure, sitting in their bay for 63 days. On May 5, 2026, they gave me a falsified 'Passed' safety inspection but delivered the truck with a completely disconnected turbo wastegate vacuum hose, causing immediate failure. On May 8, 2026, the Service Advisor admitted to a witness and I, that the first replacement engine was defective on delivery and that technicians physically dropped and shattered it during removal. Staff then tried to scavenge used parts from my blown engine core to patch a second replacement unit, subsequently finding a failed EGR cooler and leaking transmission lines they missed for 60 days. Due to their repeated installation negligence, they completely exhausted my warranty's lifetime limit of liability to cover their own shop blunders. My loan balance is $33,726.79, but the insurer confirmed I am left with exactly $2,918 in remaining protection. I gave them every opportunity to make this right internally. Instead, on May 13, 2026, GM Mike Kelley sent three predatory swap proposals attempting to seize my $4,017 contract refunds as a down payment while spikes my payment from $527.05 up to $613.23, $622.21, and $887.73, including a fraudulent $12,000 market markup on a used 2024 Ram. I have refused delivery, filed Florida FDACS Case #2605-01623, and am contacting the Attorney General first thing tomorrow. I am remaining in the loaner van under civil dispute protection until they provide a straight equity swap matching my $527.05 payment and $33,726.79 payoff and 6.99% interest rate.

I've taken my car here a many times previously with old management, but this most recent encounter…read morewith so called "new management" has been the worst I've ever experienced. I took my car in for a repair. When arrived, I had the service manager examine under the hood with me. They recommended I replace the engine. They found an engine added $100 to the bill for possible "extra parts" totaling $5,500 to order. They stated the remanufactured engine would be complete and ready for use, explained it would be 14 hours of labor at $189 per hour. I consented and paid for the engine. A week later, the engine arrived. Later on, the service manager Richard explains even though they claimed the engine was complete, I would still need more parts for it. I received a list of the items recommended for repair from the manager. Components such as new a clutch kit, ac compressor, water pump, hoses, engine gaskets, CV axels and control arms. I paid well over $1,000 for a clutch kit for them to repair not even a year ago! Question: if I'm getting an engine swap, why would you be in my transmission? (List attached) I agreed to the things necessary for the new engine, but I refused the ridiculous parts on the list that I knew had already been recently replaced. There were items added to the list that had nothing to do with the engine. That bugged me a little but I moved on. The job took an extra week. I was patient and understanding. Richard, assured me that he would make sure everything was correct and stated that he would only permit one mechanic to work on a service like this in order to prevent any inconsistencies. I call at the end of the week they said the job was finished. I went there to pay for remaining balance. I drove it, and it drove well, I was very excited. Richard recommended that I checked under the hood to see the engine first before paying. I noticed a random screw missing in plain sight from a AC line and my engine shield dangling as if the fasteners were broken. Richard assured me that they would get it fixed and he would speak to his mechanic. After I expressed my worries of the engine shield, they refused to replace it after realizing it was a portion of the intake manifold that they had broken. The service manager becomes irate and tells me how much he has helped me already as if I should be okay with them damaging a part that wasn't damaged before. It was like a slap in the face to me. I was shocked to learn that after spending more than $5,000 for just the engine and receiving assurances that everything would work out, I'm now blamed when they damage something and refuse to fix it. After learning about the problem, General Manager Michael R. offers to apply JD weld (a strong super glue), to keep it in place, and signs a letter (which is only good for 30 days, by the way) promising to repair the manifold at no cost if the piece breaks off. Yet he verbally states to me and my mother that at ANYTIME, doesn't matter if it's 6 months from now, if it wears off they would replace the manifold free of charge. Contradicting right? Not sure if he thought we wouldn't read the small wording on the paper he handed us. I asked, "Why not replace it now if you are agreeing to fix it in writing?" His response was that he is not made of money and would be out about a $300-$400. Mind you I spent $5k alone for the engine and they still haven't informed me of my remaining balance. After that, he continued to disregard my mother and I. The general manager said, "Give me a valid reason and I will give you my superiors information," in response to our request for an authority figure. After realizing they wouldn't make it right, I paid the remaining balance of nearly $4,000 even though they couldn't tell me if the extra $100 they initially charged to the engine order was deducted from the balance. After dealing with their disgusting attitudes, I just paid and left. I was mistreated as a honest, paying customer. I will no longer come here after this disgraceful customer service and if this is your new management, please reconsider Mr. Lopez!
