They let my mother and I drive the car to my dad so he could check it out and then to my mechanic to have it fully checked once we ran the numbers and I decided I wanted it as long as it checked out by my mechanic. The car has a few minor cosmetic issues (small scratches in the paint) that are to be expected. The trunk latch cover had dry rotted (it's plastic and this is a common issue), Michael found us a replacement quickly and offered to have it painted as well for way cheaper than Toyota charges for just the piece. The car came with 4 brand new tires, unfortunately the previous owner had straddled a curb or something causing damage to the interior of the rim--which was causing the tire to bubble. (My mechanic found it after he lifted the car to check the bearings.) Michael and his father took off the price of a new rim and tire so we could replace them. They also gave me a very fair price for my trade. Michael, Ray, and I'm sure the others that work at Auto Showcase are amazing and honest people-- they made buying this car quick and easy...they even stayed late so we could get it all done. Now that my extended warranty is running out I do not intend to ever return there. Not to mention they speak to you as though you are a gullible idiot. What they don't know is that i have worked in a parts and service department at a dealership in the past. I actually know what goes on and how it can work smoothly. These people need to get a decent manager and start over from scratch. Avoid them until that happens.

Both scenarios breed a mixture of good or bad experiences for most, and for me it is how you feel you were treated at the end of the day. I have always had a good experience with their service department, but know others who said they didn't, fair enough, but I know I will be coming back to them. My recent sales experience was when I was looking to purchase a new truck. I dealt with both Markus (Infinity dealership) and David Tompkins at Kraft, and both were great. David was great from minute one to even a week after the sale in making sure everything was how I wanted. When I make a major purchase, I want to deal with someone who is more interested in the long term relationship and being there for the vehicle 5 years from now, and not just this transaction. Kraft and these gentlemen do that. I got exceptionally good service from the sales team and the service department while some work was being done on the new truck.

With the reasonably low miles, I was willing to give it some serious thought even though, I'd STILL have to pay at least $1,000 or more to save it shipped from FL to NJ. Plus, I really wanted at minimum a Sport or Sport Tech model, but for the price I was willing to make a compromise. So, I began speaking with a Sales Rep Alan about the car. At first, I asked him to get pics posted since strangely enough, there were none posted on their website, even though the car was ready to be sold. He was accommodating and did take pics and have them posted (it took a bit longer than it really should have though, in all honesty). BUT Alan was friendly, courteous, and professional in phone calls and text updates. THEN, on 6/27/23, the price abruptly was increased by $2,044 to $26,990?? (As of 8/13/23, the price was magically dropped by $1,000 to $25,990 after almost 2 months of no takers...lol). When I asked WHY the price increased by $2k, Alan responded, "It looks like the vehicle price was adjusted due to the daily market values that the dealership follows". His Manager knew that they had an interested and motivated buyer and they STILL did this? NOT a good look, Kraft Nissan! Another very odd thing about this dealership that I've NEVER seen at any Nissan dealership is what they call a "Kraft Care Package" which is mandatory to purchase at a cost of $2,995. Why do I need Nitrogen filled tires? Most mechanics say it isn't needed. I told Alan that this a HUGE money grab. And so, with that ridiculous package added on, an $849 Dealer Documentation Fee, and Tax, the price is $32,408 (Not including any down payment or trade-in from me). When you see the pics below showing what's part of this "Kraft Care Package", you'll wonder how this dealership does business at all. Best to avoid them and shop elsewhere folks.

They went up on the fees apparently that are added on during final purchase which isn't calculated until the final purchase. Issue is they have gone up so much on those fees that if you have a pre-approval from your bank or whoever, while using their website information for what the vehicle cost will leave you with a surprise extra 2k to 3k in fees. But, okay I'll roll with that. After the purchase, the car died on me overnight. Had to have it towed next day. They did a little more inspection this time...The vehicle was not inspection properly before being sold. They gave 4 new tires and an alignment on them. Okay I'll roll with that. A few weeks later, my console is telling me something is draining the battery so I called them again to see if they even did a basic inspection on yhe vehicle. They sent me to a local shop that works on bmws etc. Turns out they put a battery that was too small for the vehicle instead of getting the correct battery... Highly likely won't be buying through Carmax again.
