We have absolutely loved our experience here! My son is 18 months old now and started swim lessons…read morewhen he was 16 months. We have a pool at home, so learning water safety was a huge priority for our family. Looking back, I only wish we had started even sooner. The progress he has made in just a couple of months has been incredible. He can float better than most adults I know, and he's already learned how to roll over onto his back and float if he falls into the water. Watching him develop these lifesaving skills has given us so much more confidence around the pool. Like many toddlers, he still cries during some lessons and reaches for me, especially when he's learning a new skill. But I've come to realize that's because he's being challenged, and growth isn't always comfortable. Once he mastered floating, he actually stopped crying for several lessons. Now that he's working on a new skill, the tears have returned a bit which is completely normal. Kris is patient, encouraging, and always makes sure he is safe while helping him build confidence. I truly appreciate how focused the program is on real water safety, not just having fun in the pool. Seeing what my son is capable of at only 18 months old has been amazing. I would highly recommend these lessons to any parent, especially if you have a pool or spend time around water. It's one of the best investments we've made for our son's safety.

PLEASE PLEASE research for yourself whether ISR is right for you and your child. (After my own research and consultation with numerous other swim experts- literally a drowning expert witness- it is NOT as safe as FVSA or other ISR experts will claim it is). Personally-- it was not for me or my child. It was traumatic for her, caused MORE fear of the water than she originally had, and she took in too much water and puked during 3 separate lessons and Kris brushed it off as normal (and I soon was assured by NUMEROUS swim coaches and medical professionals that it is NOT). When I expressed concerns, I DO appreciate that Kris seemed receptive, however, her teaching style is just not compatible with how I want my daughter handled. I wish this were different because I do think Kris is a passionate, very good person and maybe this teaching style works for some, and potentially for older children. But if you are starting with a child under 3, please beware that it is difficult to watch and in MY opinion after a LOT of research, does not provide the long term safety alleged by ISR advocates.

The pool was the perfect temperature, the cabana allowed for the perfect amount of shade and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing pool day. To Whom It May Concern:…read more I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received in the last two months attempting to get a hold of the lodge staff regarding use of the lodge facility for our wedding on March 6, 2027 ... My fiancé and I have made numerous attempts to email , call and appear in person. We've used the POA wedding inquiry on the website with no return phone calls Or emails. We've left numerous messages for the staff or the wedding coordinator at the lodge with no response. On August 23, 2026 my fiancé walked into the lodge to speak to a manager. The manager(Ashley) was eating her lunch at the bar in the lodge and stated she was on her lunch break, and she was too busy to help her. When my fiancé told me of this unfortunate news, I took charge and got a hold of the Lodge manager myself.Ashley stated that March 6, 2027 was open and that Paul would be giving me a call personally to work out the details. When Paul called I let him know that I was disabled and in a wheelchair and the first question Paul asked me was how much did you want to spend? I explained to our budget was round 20,000 to 30,000 but we could spend upwards too close to 50,000 to 60,000 if need be. Paul then replied and stated that the date is booked, but they have not left a deposit. I've stated if I leave a deposit can we have that date?....Paul then told me he needs to contact other party and see if they still want the date. I still have not received a call from Paul if they left a deposit or if that day Is still booked. After emailing the POA board in frustration and disappointment . Paul finally called the next day and suggest that he's is back in a timely manner. Paul had the audacity., knowing that I'm in a wheelchair to have the wedding at Sunset and do the reception at the country club.. I am still in complete disbelief that he had the audacity to say this. . I find it very frustrating being a resident of Canyon Lake for the last 15 years , the amount of discrimination I've received and the lack of poor follow up Is just downright hurtful . If the lodge cannot accommodate a wedding with the groom in a wheelchair, he should just be very upfront and direct about it. My impression of the Awful Service that the lodge has provided in the last 15 years living in Canyon Lake has not changed. I was hoping that Paul or Ashley could have Changed my view about the Lodge. Furthermore, the inability to Provide a standard service or inquiry. Makes me question where my POA dues really go. I have a personal training membership I started when I lived in a different city and moved here. I…read morehave since scheduled 5 different PT sessions on the app. First appointment I came in and the trainer had just left. I was told they could call her back but I hadn't been feeling great, so I let it be. She then scheduled a session with me over text. I show up and she is there. We then scheduled 2 sessions together the following week while in person. I get no follow up and it doesn't show up on my reservations list. I then schedule a few more sessions online. I show up to the first of the two and am helped by someone else who says the trainer wrote down they had things scheduled with me the following day; a day I could not make, which is why I didn't schedule it to begin with. I show up to the next only for the app to then not show a reservation at all, even after getting a confirmation email and everything. I show up to the next session only for it to no longer show up on my app. I jad received a confirmation and everything for it. I spoke with a gentleman who said they would pass my contact info on to the operations manager. It has been 3 days and no call. I show up for my session scheduled at 7 PM this evening, and the trainer says they have a different client scheduled at the time I show on my app and they have me for a later time this evening and said I could do my own session and they would take it off the books for today. I signed a contract I cannot cancel without repercussions and am very dissatisfied as this is the only local gym I can go to and can only do evening sessions due to othet time constraints.
