As time went on I noticed some boards became loose or rotted so it was time for some repairs and replacements. On Friday, July 10, 2026, Isac & German dropped by to do the work. They were professional, friendly and answered all of my questions. A week later (Friday, July 17, 2026) I noticed the side gate was not easy to open and close, so I called Classic Fence. It turned out the repair crew was nearby and would arrive within an hour. Sure enough Julio arrived, made some adjustments and replaced a part of the gate. Thank you!!! I highly recommend Classic Fence for their products and services. They offer excellent customer service too.

Warning to Sacramento Homeowners - Unlicensed Contractor & CSLB Compliance Issues…read more If you are looking for a garage door repair or installation service in the Sacramento area, I strongly advise doing your research and looking elsewhere before hiring Ryan's Garage Door Repair, owned by Gil Ryan Katirachi (Mr. Gil Ryan Katirachi). Before hiring any garage door service in California, here are critical factors homeowners should be aware of regarding this business: Unlicensed Status: The business is not brandishing a licensed contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Under California law, any home improvement or repair project totaling over $500 (combined labor and materials) requires a valid contractor's license. Lack of Insurance & Workers' Compensation: The business operates without verified general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for employees. Hiring uninsured contractors leaves homeowners potentially liable for accidental property damage or worker injuries occurring on their property. Misrepresented Subcontracting: Rather than utilizing licensed, properly insured employees, the business attempts to bypass state requirements by outsourcing work to subcontractors while misrepresenting compliance with CSLB standards. In California, hiring unlicensed contractors leaves you with zero recourse through the CSLB if work is done improperly or causes structural damage to your home. Always verify any contractor's license number directly on the official CSLB website (cslb.ca.gov) to ensure they carry active licensing, proper bonding, and workers' compensation insurance before allowing work on your home.
