I followed Amanda here from the previous salon she worked at. I was lucky enough to have her be the one to do my keratin treatment when I found a Groupon for Sorelle. She has been my stylist for almost a year now! I have thick, dry, kinky/wavy Puerto Rican hair and I honestly did not think a keratin treatment would work on my hair. I was wrong. Amanda takes her time, is very thorough and very knowledgeable! I now do a keratin treatment every 5-6 months.. it has changed my life! I really don't think anyone could have done a better job. I get highlights, and she's able to get the perfect shade I want, and an ashy, natural look. 2. I've had a variety of cuts; long hair with layers, angled around the face, medium cuts, and short/medium blunt cuts. She guides me in the right direction and fully explains everything and anything there is to know about particular cuts and coloring. I feel very informed about any decision I make about my hair. 3. it was my first time seeing Amanda yesterday, and I am blown away!! I came in with a PROJECT, and she killed it. I had fully bleached my hair a year ago, and she beautifully blended the harsh line of the bleach out with a really pretty, natural balayage, toned it, gave me a new cut fit for my curls, and left me feelin fab. I'm super impressed and really glad that I ended up going to her to help with this! It took me a while to find a stylist downtown. I was skipping around looking for someone all the while I would get my nails done every two weeks at her previous salon. While I sat in the pedicure chair I would see client after client come to Amanda and was impressed with each finished product so much that I realized the answer had been right in front of me all along! Although Lakeview is much less convenient for me, I didn't for one second consider not following her to Blush. When I got there I was so impressed with what she's done. It's comfortable and intimate and adorable. But the hair, most importantly, is what she does best. She's an expert colorist. She's made me lighter, darker, copper, and purple, and every time I leave happy and feeling fresh. She's also done a keratin treatment in my hair multiple times and it makes a HUGE difference, I highly recommend if you can afford it. She also tells me which products I should be using at home to best compliment my hair type. I have zero concern putting my trust in her hands. Plus, I always leave a little wiser than I came in.
