    Raspberry cheesecake Brownie

Had a delicious latte with a raspberry cheesecake brownie in gorgeous Manly Beach. The coffee was amazing and the brownie was even better! Will definitely be coming back. The staff was also fast and polite!

We were visiting manly beach for the day and decided to get some lunch in town. We had other recommendations but they were closing around 2 PM. We opted to try this location, which is right off the beach. There's both inside and outside dining. We opted to have fish and chips as well as the grilled barramundi fish sandwich. We also ordered a Coke and hot, long black coffee. The fish and chips arrived, and they look like small thin pieces of battered fish on top of chips. The grilled fish sandwich was on a soft bun with tartar sauce, pickle, lettuce, and tomato. Overall the meal was OK. The fish and chips seem like a big large baton of crispy batter. The grilled fish sandwich was pretty good and ample and size. Service was pretty good overall although both servers were busy. If you're looking for an ocean view restaurant with pretty much something for everyone, this is probably it. I'm sure there are other restaurants. You could try in the area that are less touristy. For three entrées and two beverages it was $80 AUD

    Lobster and Smoked Salmon Pasta

To say the least, I did not enjoy my experience at Blue Water Cafe, Bar & Restaurant. I walked into the restaurant with particularly high spirits, eager to enjoy the local Manly cuisine. With enthusiasm, I ordered the lobster and smoked salmon carbonara. At a table of 28, my food arrived dead last. Due to this extended wait time, where others had finished their meals before mine arrived, I had particularly high expectations. To my dismay, my hopes couldn't have been let down to a greater extent. I was expecting a slab of smoked salmon on top of the pasta, and received likely frozen salmon mixed in with the dish, impressively curating a distinctively fishy taste. Furthermore, the lobster appears to have been a month out of the water, or perhaps, not a lobster at all. I'd recommend against this restaurant. If you come, do not order this dish. This is my first yelp review and I'm fervent in this opinion.

My go-to whenever I'm with my doggo. The nice people at Bluewater always brings out doggy bowls filled with fresh water! Oh, and the food's great here too. Fish and chips come with three humongous cigar shaped fillets and super crispy chips. The batter is on the thicker side but it's still very nice. Garlic prawn pizza has a nice kick to it, with lots of cheese and garlicky prawns on a crisp fluffy crust.

Bluewater cafè, aptly named as it is located on the foreshore of Manly beach. A great spot for a nice sunny day. Perfect if you are looking for some cheap cocktails to quench your thirst after a day at the beach. The restaurant has a relaxed setting for a casual dining experience by the water. Grab a seat and relax to the sound of the breaking waves across the road. All cocktails are $12.90 and they have a daily happy hour from 3pm til 6pm dropping cocktails to $10 and beers and wines for $5. You can also accompany this with $5 chicken wings or fries. There are also non-alcoholic beverages including fresh juice, coffee, milkshakes smoothies and softdrinks. The dining menu is varied with something for everyone. There are a range of tasty starters, including a tasting menu but in this instance, we opted for oysters. The staff accomodated our request for a serving: half natural and the other half kilpatrick. Being by by the ocean we were in the mood for seafood. The crab burger grabbed our attention, stacked with softshell crab crab with slaw, and aioli. For a healthy option the macadamia crusted barramundi is a classic modern Australian dish well suited to such an iconic tourist destination. Served with beetroot, avocado and a mango sauce. The paper it is served on containing on Australiana , including info on ANZAC day, the harbour bridge and there are also some dad jokes for a laugh. The cafe is relaxed, a mix of booths, tables and couches, there's free wifi and a tv playing the rugby league. Also very family friendly.

Seemed like a nice place when roaming in manly. I had a appetizer, a beer, and my wife also had a beer snd everything was good. When I checked the charge on credit card after my vacation ended I saw that they charged me almost 12 dollars more than what the bill was for.

It's literally meters away from the main crossing to and from the beach so naturally, the vibe is laid back and chillaxed. After a day in the waves, the menu offers some pretty rustic yet classy blends of flavors both in its food and drink range. The roar of the beach can be heard, the indoor and outdoor dining areas are bustling and hues of blue from the interiors reflect onto your plate. Such a great day and in paying tribute to the extended summer weather cocktails are essential with the sweet freshness of fruit based potions! MIDORI SPLICE (Midori, Malibu, Pineapple, Coconut Cream) GREAT GATSBY (Grapefruit, Vodka, Gin, Vermouth, Lemon) WATERMELON DAQIRI Difficult to compare and impossible to choose a favorite, though I did like the citrus blends in the Gatsby... The food menu is an amazing end note to your beachside swim or walks down to Shelley Beach and back. It predominantly features seafood. The BRUSCHETTA is topped with avocado spead, smoked salmon and capers. Beautifully presented, easy choice starter that will never let you down. If you can't decide, the BLUE TASTING PLATE is made up of elements that one way or another appear throughout the selection of starters. Soft Shell Crab, Fishcakes, Prawn Skewers and Smoked Salmon with accompanying dipping sauce are very satisfying when looking to indulge without too much heaviness. The SPICED SOFTSHELL CRAB BURGER sees the crustacean crawling out of its bun adding a touch of class to a classic fave. Layered with slaw, aioli is heavenly with each bite. A powerful aroma takes over as the plate of RAVIOLI is brought over. Stuffed with Prawn, Lobster & Crab, brought to life with a subtle butter sauce and colored with rocket/cherry tomato garnishing. Immaculate dish! The absolute showstopper of the meal would be the BARRAMUNDI which we've all had a thousand times. However it's the crafting of a Macadamia Crust that sets it oceans above many standard dishes. Perfect timing and technique has been achieved in ensuring the expectant crunch without overcooking the flesh! Running the fish through a mango sauce, it's really an interesting combination and definitely the signature that I would recommend! Service runs like clockwork, from ordering to delivery to tactfully executed check ups. A destination beach eat that not only delivers in taste and not just carried by location!

A great place for brunch on a sunny day. Our server was friendly and helpful and our food arrived promptly. We shared the soft shell crab burger which was nice and the corn and sweet potato fritters which were phenomenal, one of the best things I've eaten lately.

We watched the cooks prep for our food and it was handed to us fresh off the stove. Food wise, the portion size is simply enormous and we couldn't finish the takeout box despite lots of walking during the day. But that doesn't sacrifice the quality. The salt and pepper squid was on point, yet not overpowering. The deep fried prawns was simply perfect. You can taste the freshness of the prawn just underneath the deep fried batter. Fish was cooked beautifully and didn't fall apart easily when you slice through it. It's already 5 star experience and I would have given a bonus point to the restaurant for having biodegradable wooden takeout cuttery.

Visited by Long time friends and new acquaintances. Ivan loves it's Wednesday burger days at 12.50 for a meal. Our trio choose the second floor because the first floor is quite dark but the outside deck is stunningly sunny with wall greenery, flat screen TVs, heaps room, and funky wicker decor. Our burgers arrive swiftly- having come from, I understand the cleanest kitchen in the business. Chips are salty and crunchy and meat has been cooked to preference. My 'beef' with this burger is the size of bun to patty and the taste of the meat. Bun is too big and each time I bite-sauce and bits fall out. And the meat has a game-y flavour. Is it weird to say "animaly"? Not the best burger I've had but the kitchen does offer a huge array of options and I'd eat here again

The menu overseen by Chef Shaun Presland and Head Chef Shoji Toru offers a superb section of nigiri, sashimi and sushi rolls, all made to order from the freshest of local seafood. Saké Manly's drinks list showcases the finest of Japanese spirits, whiskies and over 30 bins of sake as well as umeshu, shochu and flavoured sake. Four seasonally changing spritz feature on the menu, all designed to match the light, floral notes of Japanese cuisine. (Stolen from the website...very useful information) The views are nice, not spectacular though...while it is a waterfront restaurant, if you don't get a good seat with a view you will be stuck watching all the folks on the wharf. We were a walk in and scored a table in the middle. I think you need to make reservations for a table with a view or for a big party...or maybe just get there really early. This place is lit! Great ambiance, modern decor and plenty of space. Be aware of the prices on the menu though...is is after all a Waterfront restaurant...so value will be an afterthought. ~ spicy brussel sprouts - 4.5/5 One of the suggested appetizers that our enthusiastic server convinced us to get... "From Australian waters" ummm...in the states we call it Chilean Seabass! It is an excellent fish, buttery, flaky, light...delicious. Problem is our waitress advertised it as something that can only be found in Australian waters...um...NO. Sooo...I was under the impression I was enthusiastically wolfing down some exotic local Aussie catch! ~ sashimi moriawase - 4.5/5 Brilliant! Just Amazing!! Just not for 2 people...I could scarf this down myself. Amazing presentation...edible art, small pieces of fish, but very fresh. ~ From Japan with love - 3/5 A Gin bowl...whatever that is suppose to be. Nice refreshing drink, nothing stands out about it. IMHO the description sounds better than the drink tastes. All the food here is very very good. You are paying a premium for waterfront dining, so I had to ding about 1/2 star off. Definitely no value here; while every thing was Brilliant, nothing was outstanding. Good place to take a date, but be prepared to drop $$$

It's actually a nicer looking restaurant for the Manly area, very clean and contemporary. The service was very good (which is unusual for Aus), I think they're catering to the tourists that visit. We tried the tempura, it was lightly breaded which was nice but it had little flavor. The spider roll with the soft shell crab was nice, very light! The nigiri eel was the best!! And we ordered a dragon roll for dessert which was a very cool experience and tasted delicious too! This place does get busy during the holiday season so book a table. And while Manly is a casual place, people tended to dress up just a little nicer here but you still had a few locals in beach attire but not many.

I love the venue though, it's cosy and friendly and it's been going strong for around 20 years from what I can gather - I have been infrequently frequenting it for about 7. I always get a pizza of course (what can I say, I LOVE PIZZA!) and the pizza is really good but the chef's home made crushed chilli paste/sauce is to die for. I discovered this by accident and he's not even famous for it but he totally should be. I always ask for chilli on my pizza and just expected the usual flakes or if I was lucky fresh chopped chilli. What I received was chillis grown in a fairy grotto, delicately stomped on by angels and spread over my pizza via the surface of a rainbow. Go there and order anything and ask for chilli, that's all I'm saying. The comedy's always fun, the crowd wander in a bit late sometimes which can be disruptive but the acts always manage to settle things down and the venue has a really friendly, cosy basement vibe that I often find lacking in snobby Sydney. You know what to do!
