As I touched that coffee to my lips, I was thrilled with my decision. The coffee was remarkably made, had a perfect medium roast and silky smooth milk. The macaroon was a perfect combination of airy crunch followed by chewy finish. It was so delicious I probably could have thrown 4 or 5 of those little loves down the hatch and not looked back. Luckily, I cut it to the last minute and had to run straight past Laurent in order to catch my ferry home. Temporary fatness averted.
