Mid sized cafe nestled amongst other eateries in Manly, with an open air concept. Focusing on sustainable, fresh food the menu isn't overly big but the options are creative. I had the caprese salad- beautiful heirloom tomatoes, fresh cheese and charcoal croutons (the charcoal things seems more like a trend vs something that adds a tons of flavor and value to dishes, but that's just my opinion). The mushroom burger was also served on a charcoal bun (see trend reference) and looked post apocalyptic but tasted wonderful as the mushrooms weren't smooshed into a patty form. A medium body Pinot was a great accompaniment. read more
