Understand, our system had NEVER been serviced since it was installed decades ago. After talking with the people in the store, I tried to replace the resin bed myself. With no skills of this kind, I pestered the employees over and over again before I made the exchange for a new resin bed. They were fully interested in solving my problem and took a model system apart in front of me several times before I had the courage to try it on my own at home. Through the many demonstrations, the team members never once let me see any sign of disgust or aggravation with my incompetence. I don't know how they kept from rolling their eyes. I eventually scheduled a service call due to a possible problem with the replaced resin bed. Eventually, we had to have a second service call before the problem was corrected. After all of that, I received a call from Jon, the Greenwood store manager, the morning after the system was fixed. The technician that had been at our house the day before had explained that the need for the service call was possibly due to a fault with the replacement resin bed. The company is not charging us for the service calls. This is not the kind of service that I am used to seeing in our world any longer. This company is in the business of making happy customers. I love my water!

Although ours has been working great, why not? Of course I would expect them to try to sell us something newer but I'm pretty good at resisting that kind of stuff. The first issue is they could not pin down an appointment to any window smaller than an entire day. I had to find a day when I knew either my wife or I would be home at all times. They promised a call between 8:30 and 9:30 the morning of the appointment to give us a 2-hour window. We had to book the initial date for more than a month out because of the "home all day" requirement. We booked for Oct 1st. As the date got closer, I had to book something else for the early morning on Oct 1st. The day before I called to see if they could give me a window later in the morning or the afternoon. They could not so we rescheduled. Magically they were able to push back just 1 day to Oct 2nd. I was promised the same 8:30 - 9:30 call. Having not received the call by 10:30 AM, I called Kinetico. After being passed around to several folks, I reached someone who said they've had a lot of emergencies lately and they need to rebook some of the non-essential service calls. Totally understandable but where is the call to tell me that? And how did all these "emergencies" materialize in the last 36 hours? The staff seems to have no concept what people need to do to clear a day on their schedule or keep a COMPLETELY open for them.

I called back 5/20 and sat on hold for over an hour before the phone was answered. I was informed an adjustment request to refund the erroneous charges would be processed within a week and a no charge pick up would be scheduled to collect our 15 empty bottles of water. I called back 6/5 to be informed the adjustment request was never entered. I was sent to a supervisor who gave me a confirmation number and assured me that it had been processed by her. That supervisor then scheduled a unit pick up for 6/10 and promised to call me on 6/11 to complete the closing of our account after all this trouble. I sit here now on hold (57 minutes and still no answer) because we just received our monthly statement with NO refund of the billed services that were NEVER completed in March April and May, the free delivery fee that WAS indeed charged to our account, and for water delivery that was not supposed to happen as I had requested for the account to be closed!

The customer service is out of this world. Multiple folks working, all really friendly. Hot sauce stocking stuffers, anyone?! I eat popcorn every night, so when I discovered that they had a popcorn seasoning, I was sold. The seasoning has paprika, salt, pepper and a few other spices that stick to the light oil on the popcorn and make for the BEST snack. I also put it on avocado toast and also use it as a rub for any kind of meat. Most recently, I got one of their hot sauces to try (there's one that is SUPER hot and one that is more flavorful than spicy).
