I had some large gaps in the flashing around the chimney. He gave me what I consider to be a fair ballpark quote, and then his team showed up two days later to complete the repair. Looks great and, though we haven't had much rain, I don't see any sign of further leaking. The bill was very close to his estimate. I found them to be responsive, knowledgable, and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

t is my honor and pleasure to highly recommend Collins Custom Exteriors for your home repairs…read more There couldn't be a kinder, more honest, or better team to hire for the job! Rorrie responded immediately to my call after high winds caused extensive roof damage to my home. The insurance company recommended that I hire a contractor to make emergency repairs to prevent further damage until roof could be replaced after winter season. Knowing the imminent threat of more severe weather, CCE came out only days later to complete the temporary repairs. This gave me peace and reassurance given the situation. Such outstanding professionalism , compassion, and care was demonstrated... these emergency repairs were made on Christmas Eve! Thank you, Rorrie and team for not only coming to the rescue and being a top-notch roofer but for being a truly amazing person and someone you can trust. Best to you

We had several other contractors who told us wehad to replace the entire side of the house, even though it appeared the damagewas in one specific area. Rorrie said they could fix it without having to rip everythingout. We had a few calls before the work was done where he explained everything in greatdetail (and with great patience). The work itself is complete, and the siding looks great. Theypulled back the areas that needed work, replaced the plywood that was rotted, and even helped buttress some of the framing. They then covered everything backup and repainted. At the end, they also walked around the house to point outany potential things to watch out for or that need attention. I definitely plan to use them again to fix any future siding issues that come up! Great work at a very good price! Highly recommend!

I started calling for estimate To fix the problem. that's how I ended Up in contact with Nick from NRG. I explained to him what was going on with the gutter he said he would come and look at it. CLEARLY TOLD HIM I JUST WANTED AN ESTIMATE! That night he sent a text saying he would stop by in the morning and look at again I said for an estimate? He said yes! I Have everything on text by the way. I said well let me get back to you by Friday cause I have other companies coming out and didn't want everyone to show up at once! He tells me he can come out the next day I said I won't be available he said I didn't have to be home for him to look at it.I said ok what time. he said 8 I said ok I'll be home he shows up and says all it needs it's flashing with out even getting up in a ladder he says I can do it for $100 since I'm here. I think he quoted me $175. But he said he would do it for $100 since it was just flashing that it needed. I called my husband and he agreed to the $100. To "fix" the problem.fast forward a week later 2-2-2020 we have heavy rain the gutter is still leaking I called him asked if he can come and look at to see what going on he says to send him video so I sent him a video. He's response is it must be a leak in the roof. I said how can you if you haven't looked at. He says if I go out I'm going to have to charge you. Charge me? I hired you to fix a problem and you did. He went on to be very rude and swearing telling me to leave him alone that he was not coming to look at the gutter and stop texting him. Please. Be very careful who you hire and make sure you have a contract and everything in writing. people like this are the ones who give other reputable contractors bad names and people won't trust again. Ps: I Do have all my text from him if he tries to say I'm laying.

It was after that when I noticed a few of my leaf guards were missing from a gutter in a location visible from a room not often visited. I made several calls to ask them back to replace the missing guards (with new ones I purchased) and ensure leaf guards weren't missing from other locations, one of which is the very high back gutter unreachable by me. I devided to borrow a friend's 32' ladder and do it myself after having received no response from the owner as requested on my third call. I found dozens of roofing nails on a newer section of roof that is part of an addition where shingles were not being replaced. I collected this cache of nails (in photo) which could be added to the tally of nails collected around the property post-install. This could explain the flat tire every driver of the three vehicles in the home experienced along with the flat tire on the riding mower! I was happy with the roofing job initially, but next to no satisfaction thereafter. If you hire them, inspect post-job well for damage and clean up before making your final payment to make sure they're not sloppy as they were at our home! I would expect the same poor, unresponsiveness otherwise.

Upon said completion of the job there are several obvious issues including some damage to a new driveway, siding that was poorly cut and not completely attached to the house, and weather stripping that was deemed to be reusable which meant carelessly pried off and cut to a size that no longer fits properly. I contacted Steve with my concerns and he was adamant about having completed the job properly but he soon followed up stating that there were some issues. After agreeing to fix the problems Steve then wanted me to drive to Home Depot to pick up the supplies needed for the repairs before he would come to my home to fix the work. After yet another lengthy conversation Steve finally agreed to pick up the supplies which two hours later led to him texting me wanting to return the down payment for the job and to remove the damaged materials from my house leaving me with more damage.
