Bluestone has a large contract with a resort where I own 3 properties. Year One their work was top notch, Year Two not so much, and now Year Three--awful. And I mean awful. Did a decent job first year. Had to touch up whatever his guys missed. No big deal. Employee, damaged fence than the excuses started. He talked to fence guy. He ordered the fenc he is waiting for the fen. Than he got it, but has never installed it. It's been over a year. Don't want to even talk about this year. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Lawnmower breakdown for over a month. Waited 2 months for sprinkler addition. Brought the wrong machine made big as ruts in the backlawn, still waiting to repair. Another month goes by. I think he promises and takes on to much. Sorry Peter your so much out of here. Oh and never returns phone calls and text messages. read more

Peter at Bluestone is a pleasure to work with! Last year, we got quotes from him and a couple other landscapers in the area. He came out (one place just looked at our survey) and answered questions even before we asked them. He's super knowledgable and has great recommendations and landscape plans. The Bluestone crew came out last fall to cleanup our new construction lot, then seeded with the erosion control blanket. Our lawn is so green and full right now, we couldn't be happier with the results. Other seed jobs in our neighborhood don't even look close to what we got. Next up, we'll be planting some trees and bushes based on Peter's design- can't wait! read more

We have been using this company for over 1 year and have had zero issues until recently. They have completely ghosted us all together and wont return our calls/texts/emails. We are supposed to get the lawn mowed every Thursday. It has been two weeks now since our lawn was cut. We gave them the benefit of the doubt the first week due to all of the rain we have encountered. The second week however they just did not show. We called Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and this morning with no contact back. I understand something may have happened (company went out of business), but they should let me know instead of dragging me along. Not sure what is going on.. read more

We hired Bluestone based on them being the middle bid of the 3 quotes we received for the job. The job was to put down black dirt and seed the back lawn. I had replaced the septic system and it required fresh dirt and seed. They put down a small load of back dirt on my about 1/2 acre back yard. They were supposed to fill in with black dirt where the new septic tanks were placed. This does not look like it was done as there are big gully's around the tanks. Just seeded the mostly clay yard. I noticed that the mulch beds they filled in were low as well. I phoned and spoke with the owner and he said he would be out. The owner did come out looked at the job in April. Agreed that is was not satisfactory. He ordered more mulch and dirt. The mulch showed up but the dirt is still yet to be delivered. The grass they planted on the clay sparse and thin. My wife also informed the owner that his workers spent a lot of time while on our job kicking back in the shade. Looking for another company to finish the job. Very very disappointed in the work completed by Bluestone. read more

Our yard was an overgrown mess. Peter and the guys from Bluestone saved it. They work slowly but really I didn't care just wanted it done. We've had so many compliments on the yard. I really looks wonderful now. read more

Have had work done by peter for a long time thousands of dollars and tried to get a minor job done in Sept. 2013 got him here and then nothing no call back no stop by left messages and nothing. liked him but why no call backs? read more

I had reached out to Bluestone Landscaping for our monthly lawn care service and received a quote from the owner Peter. When I spoke to him I explained that I had some issues last year with the reliability of the service. My lawn was not always cut regularly and would look long and ragged between cuts. He explained to me that there are a number of independent guys that don't really operate as serious landscapers. His quote was reasonable and he seemed like a nice enough guy. However, the first week of service was a major disappointment. I was told that my lawn would be cut midweek and several days went past and they did not show up. I called both the office and his cell and left multiple messages that were not returned. I finally sent him an email explaining my frustration in the FIRST week of spring. He finally replied back that my lawn would be cut the next day. When I got home the next day it still was not cut. I called him again and I finally got the guy on the phone. He started to explain the issues that he had with his forman and blah blah blah. I didn't care what the issue was. I just want my lawn cut regularly. I pay for the service so I don't need to worry about it. I can say this confidently that this guy does not have his business organized. His follow up is joke and his customer service is terrible. You would be better off hiring a neighbor kid to mow your lawn. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING BLUESTONE LANDSCAPE. read more
