We're from South Florida, traveling to Kentucky. We got recommended this place from a local and it was super cozy, friendly, and delicious. Staff was so nice and welcoming. They gave us great service. The wine was delicious and the location was beautiful.

So happy we stopped here for a tasting! They were so friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. The one ounce pours are the perfect size to try all the fun wines before you decide on a glass. I loved that they have so many sweet wines available! I've never had cotton candy wine before and it was great to try so many different varieties. Lots of great snacks available to accompany your tasting. Definitely a must do if around the Mammoth Cave National Park area.

Great place to stop by, not too far from Mammoth Cave National Park at all. Or from Bowling green. Very cheap flights to try the various cool flavors of wines. Very friendly staff and clean tables. A simple shop and bar, with small table games and some merch for sale also. Would recommend to a friend and will stop by again if in the area.

On a recent day trip to Bowling Green we decided to stop in to Bluegrass Vineyard for a wine tasting! I loved the variety of unique sweet wines! My favorite was the one with the raspberry chocolate, the carmel apple, and the one aged in a bourbon barrel! It's only $6 for a flight and a snack, and there are optional snack upgrades as well! Everyone that worked there was very friendly! The experience was relaxing and fun! The parking lot is small, but we didn't have an issue. There are cows near the parking lot, which I loved! Also, it's dog friendly!

I'm sad to have to give this place 3 stars because it really was a great experience. The wine is great and super affordable, they have snacks as well that was also very affordable. BUT, we sat at the bar and got a wine flight and they use the same glass for each pour. It's very, very unsanitary. They rinse out your glass when you are done and wipe it with a towel that they use for everyone and refill your glass with the communal wine. I wish they didn't do this and I hope they stop soon. It's not only unsanitary but when I order I flight of wine, I want to enjoy them side by side.

Friendly people, great wine, & an enjoyable experience discovering which wines I prefer from their selections. Purchased a delicious snack box to go along with the wine. Bought some honey, wine for me, & a bottle for a gift. Located beside a B&B, so the location is off of the house. Cute, not too plain or fancy. Ample parking. Looking forward to another visit soon!

We stopped here during our wine weekend. The tasting room is newly opened. There is an Airbnb on the property as well. I didn't get the name of the girl who did our tasting, but she did an excellent job. She easily handled our group of 4 as well as the other parties that came in with ease. The tasting was free and you got up to 6 samples. All of the wines were delicious and we all walked out with at least one bottle. I didn't notice a patio or outside area, which would have been nice to enjoy a glass or bottle. Overall, this was a good stop to start off our wine weekend.

This place was very busy when we got here on a Saturday afternoon. We grabbed a small table in the corner and got our tasting. Seemed to be a lot of regulars here, so we weren't given much attention. No explanations for the wines or anything. Being from another state and not familiar with Kentucky wines, it's nice to have someone explain the tasting rather than just hand us the wines and that's it.

Michaela was great and the wines were delicious. We left after a flight, cheese platters and four bottles later. I recommend this winery.

Ok. So...10 minutes in, I was thinking "2 stars...if they are lucky!" But you know what...? Turns…read moreout they were lucky, so 3 stars it is! Things got a little better and the two wines that are actually under their name/label were surprisingly delicious! Anyway, we were driving back to Louisville from Nashville and the Fella filled me with joy when he said we could stop at a couple wineries on the way. Not only is it a great way to break up the monotonous drive, but it allowed me to try more Kentucky wineries (like a Pokemon, I wanna try 'em all!). Cave Valley Winery was the right distance between the first place we stopped and getting home, so we decided this would be our final boozy-stop on the way. It is easy to get to, just a small loop off the highway at the Park City exit. It was a strange first impression when we got there, though. The winery isn't so much a winery, as it is a room inside an old hotel that also operates as the site's regular bar. They were also getting ready for a Ladies' Shooting competition to be held on the weekend, there were lots of gun signs and promotional booths and tents set up and sponsor banners. We weren't initially sure that we were at the right place...maybe some of the banners were covering the winery sign? Also...guns and alcohol...what could go wrong, amirite? It was strange. When we walked in to the bar, there were two people futzing around with the register iPad and a printer. It took a bit before we were greeted, and when we were, they both mentioned that they were not the tasting host and would go get her. While she was being retrieved, we were able to look over the wine list and the woman at the bar got us started with our first sample, though she admitted she didn't really know anything about the wines. Once the usual wine tasting host, Amber, came in we were ready to lock and load. (Get it...because of the gun range...no? Ok.) You get 5 samples for $5. But be aware, they only have TWO wines under their own label. The two they have are surprisingly delicious, if I do say so myself. As for the rest of the two-page wine list, they are all wines from Wight-Meyer, which is not one of my favorite places either. So that was a little disappointing. And they were out of a few of the wines I wanted to taste. Amber was pretty alright though, with some information on tasting notes. But she was minutes from the end of her shift and asked that we close out right away. Which was fine, we needed to get on the road again anyway. Overall, I am conflicted. It was a weird experience, but their wines are decent and once Amber got to our tasting, all was well. But temper your expectations if you are a winery-hopper like me. (If I was feeling more generous, I would give another star just for all the puppers roaming about....but really, 3 stars is where its at.)
