Came for my husband's live music show and we were not disappointed. White Squirrel is such a cool place! The venue was a great vibe. Will definitely be coming back to check it out on a busier day. They had a food truck, but since it wasn't busy they closed early. They also had a menu for a local place nearby to deliver food, but they were also closed. I heard great things about both the food truck and the local food delivery, which is why I am itching to go back! The service was great, and our bartender was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Really cool brewery with a great vibe and great beer I had the jalapeño kolsch which had a great taste and a nice burn tried my wife squirrel noir and what a nice dark beer great flavor. Then I had the tropic thunder Double IPA nice fruity citrus flavor. Definitely go to this great brewery. Bar keep was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. read more

Cool local brewery. Glad we visited. Beer selection was good. The house brews were sampled freely and they were pretty good. Also full bar, coffee cart, and food trucks were available. Service at the bar was decent. Glad we're tried this place as first time visitors to Bowling green. Thursday nights trivia night (3/19) was awkward and embarassing for the bar. Yes, someone gave the trivia host a 1 star review. Mentioning it once to the crowd was fine I guess, continuing to bring it up multiple times throughout the night? Moronic and childish - and cowardly shaming someone who wasn't even there. It didn't help that he kept saying how drunk he was getting from the stage. Just a bad look overall. read more

Was driving home from Mammoth Cave and stopped by this local brewery for a beer. They have a nice selection of beers, everything was pretty good but we really liked the sour (as we usually do). Super casual place, plenty of seating scattered throughout with a large bar (appears to be in the process of being expanded). There was also a food truck out back and hot dogs at the bar if you're hungry, as well as some.board games and a Golden Tee if you're bored. Friendly staff, good casual place for a beer. read more

Some of the worst beer I've tried in a long time. I tried the Phantom 550 and the Line Drive Lager and neither tasted good. The first tasted nothing like a Belgian White and the other nothing like a lager. The line drive tasted like a cigar bar's ash tray. Not cool. Really enjoyed our visit to White Squirrel Brewery! It's a huge space with live music and a bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and let my friend sample several beers to make the right choice. Lots of indoor seating and the parking lot is super convenient (no need for street parking). Bathrooms onsite. Good for families, too. Enjoyed the drinks. read more

New location for a brewery that was around a few years back but has been revived. They have some of the same beers but they are better than I remember. So the bar staff is awesome and super friendly, even for a chatty dude like myself. 100% recommend swinging by for a beer or 4 and keeping a lookout for any live music or food trucks they may have! read more

I've been to probably 100 breweries across the country and sampled at least 10 times that many in bottle/can, and I have never encountered a brewery this bad. My wife and I ordered 8 different beers between us in flights, and neither of us could finish ANY of them. Their amber literally tasted like cigarettes (too much Black Patent malt?). Every beer displayed glaring fermentation problems and most had way too many bittering hops. I've brewed a few bad batches myself, I know the taste . If a decent brewery opened up in this town they would put this place out of business. read more

This place is more of a bar/eatery. They have a dozen or so of their own beers on tap, along with a full bar. The space is large, open, and rowdy. Seems very popular and had a big crowd for a weekday. The hotdog / chip combos are quaint. Lots of merch for sale. read more

Great service and the beers do not disappoint! We went with 2 flights to get the most of the experience. The Nut Brown is a delight if you like something a bit heavier. Recommend the Phantom 550 and the Lager if something a little lighter is to your liking. For summer, you can't go wrong with the multi flavoured seltzers. They are fantastic!! Love the atmosphere as well. If you're in Bowling Green, you'd be a fool to miss out on this experience. read more
