The servers were extremely kind. Loved the ambiance inside so much, it's a very unique spot in cave city. Holds lots of history. The decor is charming I loved getting to see this place!

Really great bar. Really great service. Really great prices. Can't complain. Really good food.

Good times here at "The Dive"! We were cruising through town and stopped in. The bartenders were nice, and was very welcoming. Be sure to stop in for a drink! Ask for the "Steak Dinner" shot.

I was greeted by a young lady as I entered the building. She complimented my sandals and welcomed us to "the dive" this was a good first impression. I later found out this was one of the owners, which absolutely spoke volumes about the business. Leticia introduced herself as a owner- absolutely bubbling about her business and everything she wanted to bring to the community upon its grand opening. She was curious to hear feedback and observations from my perspective as a patron; wanting to optimize and improve any small detail that may affect my experience. Letcia was genuinely reinforcing her passion for the success of her business here at the dive. The atmosphere is uplifting. Decor and lighting really bring about a positive vibe and the tender was more than accommodating. I got a piece of culture, meeting "two finger Timmy" and having the opportunity to engage with locals was like none other I've ever experienced. I was shown the transformation of the building, and can only say "wow" in regards to the amount of gentrification needed to get this place where it's at now. Prices were more than fair, literally CAN NOT beat $1 beers when compared to my usual bar tab in Louisville or Bowling green.. That being said I'll absolutely put this spot in my destination list for a fun night out on the town with not so long of a drive.

The Dive reminds me of that bar I couldn't get into when I was 16. It is the best bar within 30 miles. So if you are enjoying mammoth cave, live within an hour and don't know what the ... to do with your night go visit The Dive and enjoy some darts, pool, beer, liquor, and a good time. :)

This Classy Venue, Sets A New Tone.. Pleasantly Kicked Out of Our Comfort Zone:…read more What a Gorgeous Night to be out & about, with Beau, on the night before the Full Moon, during Derby Week, in Bowling Green. We'd never been here before, thus, we were new to this scene! Even stepping in seemed an experience, following behind two ladies, donned in Derby Hats, & their two dapper gentlemen, who smiled, held open the door, & graciously waved us in!! Then, at a long table we happily joined, our extended, car fanatic family. Thus, the festivities began, as our evening flowed pleasantly.. What We Found : Service: Friendly & Attentive.. Our iced tea was refilled & our tables kept clean. And our server, steered us in the right direction, in recommending the Surf & Turf dinner, which was Delightful.. Ambiance: Lofty & Modern Aesthetic, with Rustic Elements. (But still too modern, for our liking). Nearby, seemed a nicer table: with a wooden tent like canopy, situated near a great hearth.. Food: Generous portions of entrees & sides. The hearty sides, are served family style. We ordered: Bacon Cornbread; Mac & Cheese; Roasted Brussel Sprouts; Roasted Mushrooms; & Truffle Fries. These Tasted Divine... Especially the bacon cornbread, served with a dollop of brown butter, which disappeared in no time!! Whilst our Surf & Turf Dinner, of: Shrimp & Beef, served on skewers, atop a bed of Fried Rice, Kicked Us Out of Our Comfort Zone. This was quite unlike the country cuisine of Bowling Green, for so long known!! And, the horseradish sauce, served alongside, seemed rich & robust!! Indeed, the menu seemed to convey the chef's creative touch!! However, our friend beside us, bemoaned that his elk steak dinner, was mostly burnt!! To the staff, not saying a word!! Moreover, Beau found his Strawberry Shortcake, a tad too dry. But from Beau's pretty dessert, to the Almond Cake, ordered at the table--all seemed a pastry feast for the eyes!! Overall: We Found This Classy Venue, A Welcome Change From The Familiar..Hearty Southern Fare, Fine Tuned With A Touch Of The Exotic!! So Happy To Say: We Loved It !!

We sat at the bar next to a few other folks, the bartender asked us if we knew what we would like. I asked for a menu, she said she didn't have them out right now and would come back to take our order. The bartender returned and my partner explained that we weren't sure what we wanted to order, that it was our first time in and asked if there was a menu we could view. The bartender responded with, ''no menus, it's easier that way''. I was taken back by not only the comment, but the tone of her voice (clearly not happy with our request). I turned to my boyfriend and said, let's go somewhere else! The speakeasy wasn't crowded, but, was part of the Elizabethtown St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. I don't believe that should have any effect on the regular menu or quality of service. We were disappointed with our experience (lack of) especially on such a special day. We skipped down the road to Bourbon Barrel Tavern and received excellent service and tasty cocktails.

100% would recommend this restaurant!!!!…read more we arrived right at 5pm when they open back up for the day. firstly the atmosphere and customer service is top tier. everyone is super attentive and welcoming. we started off with mixed drinks, with a very wide selection, each drink we tried was perfectly mixed and balanced. we definitely would recommend the french martini and vette city. as for appetizers, we tried the fried pickles and jalapeños. the batter was light but crunchy and flavorful and the house made ranch paired perfectly with them. main courses i would 1000% recommend the chicken rosa. such a delicious dish with a creamy mash potatoes side and perfectly seasoned and sautéed fresh vegetable side. the lemon caper sauce paired with the chicken was stunning. chicken was cooked perfectly and still very juicy. the basil pasta dish was al dente with a rich, herby, and creamy sauce. the crème brûlée was the most delicious dessert to end the meal with a perfectly crunchy sugar top not too charred and the crème part was flavored very nicely with a good vanilla taste. 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND
