I'm glad to still have Metal Rooster Plumbing in my area…read more Pyae's been more than happy to advise me through text about sink, garbage disposal, and water softener issues that I've been thankfully able to handle on my own when money is a little tight. This week, I had to replace my second water heater and didn't hesitate to give Pyae a call. He came out straight away and took care of everything in no time and for a fair price, as usual! Don't risk getting fleeced by the big plumbing companies, call Metal Rooster Plumbing instead!

WARNING: Its $275 just for them to show up…read more Not happy with these people. Danny was a nice guy, but his speech was slurred in the AM making it hard to understand him at times, he didn't recognize the true problem we were having (a valve was old and needed replacing but he said the problem was from my water softener. Other climbers confirmed this and fixed the problem), and he surprised us with a service of $275 for just showing up. This fee was never communicated to us beforehand. The appointment was set up over text, and when telling them I was upset by the lack of transparency around the fee, they said, "If cost was something you were worried about, I feel it's the customers responsibility". What an insane response. I went with another local plumbing company who fixed my problem for $225 total.

He checked it out, recommended we replace the garbage disposal, and fixed it up the same day. Some of the other companies haven't even responded to my request, and my garbage disposal is already fixed. On top of the quick responses, the garbage disposal is working perfectly, and it was extremely affordable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be calling up Don for any other plumbing issues!

This guy ripped me off. Absolutely TERRIBLE communication. Shoddy work that i had to come back…read morebehind and correct some of his mistakes. I paid him almost $2000 (a little over half his bid) for him to install 3 trim kits, 2 showers and do some corrective plumbing. He repeatedly claimed that he'd arrive at a certain day and time and almost always he'd arrive late or not at all and would NEVER inform me of the update. When he did arrive he'd say that his kid had a softball game or another job kept him from finishing mine. 3 weeks into the project and it was just one excuse after another. At once point he didn't seal something properly and I had to call him to come back just 5 minutes after he left and even after he came back and redid the issue and left, I checked it again and it STILL WASN'T RIGHT!! So I had to do it myself. He would come and stay for 15-20 minutes at a time and then leave. He got into verbal altercations with my general contractor because he didn't want to do any extra work. I went over his bid and told him that he owes me at least $700 for the shoddy work and he refused to pay. I hired another plumber that found multiple problems with the work he did do, and it had to be redone the correct way. Obviously I do not recommend this guy.

We kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt even after a grossly overcharged visit but most recently, their techs forgot to reconnect our water heater upon leaving (they brought the wrong parts and couldn't fix the problem) so we were stuck over the weekend with no hot water and no response. There are too many plumbing companies in our area to continue to use one that just can't seem to provide quality service at a decent price and NOT leave you in the lurch. We are done with A Tech.

We paid more than $58,000 to replace the plumbing in our duplex in 2022. The bid said, "This bid…read moreincludes installing all new drain piping for both units and connecting it to the existing main sewer line.... Includes replacing the plumbing in (3) bathrooms, (1) kitchen sink and (1) washer, as needed." Three years after the work was done, we found out that the copper drainline from the sink of one of the bathrooms had fallen out of the cast-iron wet vent and was dumping water between the walls. This section of the house was built in 1949, so this was not a surprise. Atech was very quick to send out a crew and even quicker to say that because the leak involved an air vent, it was not their responsibility. By their logic, the drain line from this bathroom was not included in the work to replace the drain lines from the bathrooms because it was also a vent pipe. What hurt was that we paid a premium because we needed a plumber who would help us with an old house and avoid these kinds of issues. We are not construction experts. We trusted Atech. We were left with a precarious system that predictably failed. Then we were treated to a weekend of silence and an explanation that the bid was really just for the plumbing under the house. (There was no mention of this in the bid.) Worst of all, the plumbers cut multiple holes into that same wall to replace the supply lines to the sink in 2022. It could have been and was an easy fix. But not by Atech. Atech does great work and charges a premium. But don't fool yourself, like we did, and think that means they will take care of you.
