Barry, himself, along with my 3 witnesses that personally saw Barry, Jason and the gentlemen with a ford truck There is documentation, including messages and representations, connecting the work performed to American MasterCraft and affiliated business names. . From the homeowner's perspective, workers arrived at our residence, performed partial work (Which still remains unfinished), accepted payment, attempted to change pricing mid-project, failed to complete the agreed scope, and then ceased communication. Lets not forget after contacting me (barry), Barry sent out Jason the very next day at 10am, i made Jason called Barry in front of me, my wife, my father and a worker at our home that we had to paused service for while Jason came by, Barry answered the phone and said he said he sent Jason to do a estimate. Regardless of internal authorization disputes, the result for our family was and is the same: incomplete and damaged work with no resolution. Jason did receive payment with a receipt from us as he didn't have one on him and we have the bank statement after he kept pressuring us to pay him. If your company name was misused, that is a serious issue that you need to address with Jason & Barry, your worker you are denying, and one you should investigate internally. However, as the homeowner, I can only review and document what was presented to us and what occurred at our home along with what i, personally, experienced from this company. We are willing to communicate privately, We are willing to update or amend this review if the situation is resolved and the outstanding work and payments are addressed and handled. Darrell, the owner, and his worker Nate were fantastic from start to finish. We originally noticed a bump in the bathroom floor that turned out to be a moisture issue. A mitigation company came in to remove the damaged flooring and toilet and dry everything out. After that, we started collecting quotes from contractors--and chose Darrell because he was by far the most straightforward and transparent. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us a fair quote, and didn't sugarcoat anything. Once we agreed to move forward, Darrell even handled communication with our insurance company and got the project covered. That alone was a huge help. The work itself turned out great. Darrell and Nate installed new subflooring, laminate that we picked out, and new baseboards. After the job was done, we did notice a couple of minor issues--one with the baseboard seal and another with the threshold transition that my wife wasn't happy with. Darrell came back out promptly and made sure both were addressed to our satisfaction. I've included some photos of the bathroom after mitigation and the finished result--the difference speaks for itself. Great company, easy to work with, and reliable. When we moved into our house a few years ago we knew the deck had to go. It was old and rotting…read moreaway. We had many estimates done but CCGC's was by far the most detailed. That and our comfort with Darrell made our choice easy. We made some big changes to our second story deck, so it took some time for a structural engineer to get plans in place but, the final product was well worth the wait. Darrell and Ed worked to make sure our deck was sturdy and well built. We now have an extended deck with awning that actually comes from above the roof line. The difference is night and day and we are thrilled with our new deck!

They made an oversize bid for work that did not need to be done to jack up the price, and my insurance allowed the fees, but they cut corners everywhere they could and did not do the work that was needed. I had to call them out on it so many times it became a daily review of the work to make sure it wasn't shoddy. they abandoned the job for a full month and after many attempts to reach the foreman, I called the owner to complain. They stated they were waiting on tiles, but I still didn't have walls in my kitchen and the drywall was ready to go. My kitchen floor sags and the marmoleum is cut all over in weird places. the trim is falling off. there are many patches left where they didn't paint the walls. I am constantly scraping caulking off of walls and trim where it wasn't cleaned up. there is no insulation in the outside walls. they didn't reattach doors. they just left one day. I don't speak Russian by my phone can translate and some of the workers were quite cruel about my disability and my gender identity, as well as racist towards other people. -000/10 do not recommend.

After considering heavy duty screening to prevent damage to the Plexiglass (vetoed because it would obstruct the view out), Roger came up with covering the existing Plexiglass with another sheet so it could be more easily replaced when we decide to sell the house. He replaced the door hinges, refinished all of the scratched wood & the screen door looks & works wonderfully. Roger is a bit OCD about the quality of his work & I'm very thankful that he is. My husband & I were both amazed at what Roger charged for the quality & amount of work he did. We will definitely be calling him when we need more work done!

They covered the hard wood floors and were boot covers. He did three closets in about 5 hours. It made it seem simple but the hard work is completed in his shop. the cutting to fit and building the prior to installing to make sure everything is a go! So by time he's onsite it's no issues! From the beginning, we never intended to work with Andrew on a full kitchen remodel. This is why we…read morehad him revise the original contract, explicitly changing the scope from a full remodel to strictly non-buildable design development. We hired him and his designer solely to draft the plans. We had no obligation to move forward with remodel portion of our project. The "time and materials pre-construction work" was supposed to reflect the non-buildable design details discussed 3 separate time including at our group meeting with the designer. The plans delivered didn't match the design elements we talked about several times for the "time and materials" contract. Andrew describes the design process, "He'll (speaking of the engineer) likely want to take that (plans that Andrew's designer creates) and do a site visit as well to specify the required beams/posts." So he was very aware that we wanted the beams and post redone and mocked up the plans. "(Andrew's designer) will build the model on her computer while we're there and we can talk through it and see it as we iterate on design decisions." Which didn't happen but we were flexible and assumed we didn't need to micromanage the mock up and they would act on good faith to deliver the plans with the details we discussed. Andrew isn't being honest here - We emailed 3 times and talked to him on the phone to state that we would provide feedback and address invoice as soon as possible for we had a family issue come up. We paid the invoice less than 2 months after you sent the invoice - Invoice sent 9/11 and paid 11/7. By email, he stated he can be somewhat flexible with payment dates. As well as on the invoice it states "no rush on our end". By not disputing the quality of the delivered work, Andrew clearly acknowledges that the blueprints lack the detailed specifications we repeatedly outlined in three separate meetings. Rather than correct the errors with integrity, he intended to charge an additional 7.5 hours just to fix mistakes in the original plans. That's unacceptable--we hired Andrew to deliver the correct plans from the start, not to pay extra for what was already agreed upon. We just want to receive the plans we discussed so we can move forward and update our review to a amicable experience.
