Blue Spruce - Good stuff - Gelato Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

We go to Blue Spruce every time we're up from Oklahoma City. We LOVE their gelato! I try to remember to bring my thermos so I can get a pint and safely make it home without melting. The staff is always great about letting us try different and new flavors. My husband's favorite is sarsaparilla (it's been a couple years since he had it, we look for it every time we go now). I'm partial to the cookie butter, but I had coffee last time. It was amazing! Made with their in house roast. It was very strong flavored and now I'm sad because I didn't get a pint to bring home. I will say I haven't tried their actual coffee before, it's always really late when we go, but if it's anything like the gelato, it's probably amazing too. read more

It's such a cute lil place! I absolutely love the setup and the garage door. The vibes are just right. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I was strolling downtown one evening and saw they had gelato and not just coffee. They had the garage door open and it was so nice out. I popped in and tried a few flavors but the double chocolate stole my heart! I've been back several times now and can't stay away from the chocolate gelato! Incredibly delicious. Probably the best gelato I've ever had. Such an awesome find on Main Street! read more

Such a cute gelato shop! We were looking for something sweet without making us feel too icky afterwards, and this place just hit the spot. Service portions were huge and the texture and flavors were just amazing. Really solid gelato spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Blue Spruce is one of our favorite spots in Stillwater. Amazing gelato, great coffee, an adorable space and friendly staff. We've had gelato all over Italy, so we know good gelato when we taste it. Blue Spruce's is great! read more

Great and quick service! They allowed me to sample before making a decision, which helped me out. They have a smaller selection of flavors but they are all delicious! read more

AWESOME - the Gelato here is a must do, the folks are great but let's talk about the Gelato - I had the peanut and vanilla combo - so good. Meet that they roast their own beans for their coffee, no espresso but that is okay, go for the gelato. read more

The gelato was delicious and the servings were nothing to sneeze at! Our server was very sweet and let my mom talk her ear off. She even remembered my mom from a visit 6 weeks ago AND let her get 4 different flavors in a medium size cup. The shop is really cute and minimalistic and modern. Will definitely come again! read more

Fantastic! We got lemon, chocolate chip, and a mix of dark chocolate and strawberry. They were all great. My lemon was a sorbet but it tasted just like the lemon gelato in Italy, which I love! The other two were also great, the chocolate and strawberry tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry! The portions weren't large, it seemed a bit on the pricey side, but honestly the quality was so good I don't care. I hope to go back! read more

My used to go spot to for a pour over coffee. Been to the old location numerous times and a few times at their new location on Main Street. All I can say the owners and staff are absolutely devoted to give you the best product. And it shows! Owner and staff are very knowledgeable about the coffees served. I can not speak for their gelato's but I'm sure it's the same. These folks are serious about their business. Best pour over coffee. The place is very clean. I cute decor as well. I definitely would give this business a try when you can. read more

Cute little place in a super convenient location. Staff are very sweet and helpful. Tried their "Avalanche" which is their version the Affogato and is quite tasty. Overall a very clean and fun little place that has a very chill vibe. read more

This is the best gelato around. They have authentic gelato and the flavors change all the time. Whenever I am in town I stop in and get some. I tell everyone I see how good it is. read more

One of my favorite places in town. Delicious gelato and great staff. The ambiance is lovely and they have a glass garage door which they open on nice days. Best place in town for your ice cream, gelato, sorbet needs. read more

Get your dairy free ice cream here!! Technically sorbet, but tastes amazing! For some reason I thought they still served food (like sandwiches). My husband said they used to but don't any long. Also very limited coffee selection are the only beverages. But on yo the good stuff: we tried almost half of the 8 flavors. All were delicious. Be warned the cookies n cream flavor is not certified gluten free. But every other flavor is. All are dairy, nut, soy, and corn free. Cups are the only option , no cones. Decor is classy. read more

Blue Spruce - Turns out they open at noon now. #thewaitinggame - Gelato Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

Great yummy gelato. Awesome flavor selection. Never disappoints. It's on the pricier side but competitive with other gelato places in the cities. It's in a great location in a cute little corner spot. Great place to go for a treat or study! read more

Very expensive for the quality. Aspen and Balanced don't use their beans for a reason. There aren't any other coffee roasters or ice cream shops in Stillwater, so they are able to charge more. read more

I really really like this place, and if you're a fan of gelato, you will too! The good: - Locally owned w/ a cool vibe - The gelato is fantastic - Extremely friendly staff The not so good: - I want this to be a coffee shop. Yes, they have coffee, but it doesn't appear they are serious about their coffee. You can get coffee, but anything with espresso is not possible because they don't have an espresso machine. I asked for an affogato which is a shot of espresso poured over something. In this case, it would be espresso poured over gelato - delicious! (Affogato is the Italian word for drown.) The server told me about their version - called the Avalanche - so I decided to give it a try. The problem is that without an espresso machine, you can't get good espresso. She tried her best with a low-budget hand press, but it can't produce the same crema, texture, or flavor of a real machine. I get it that espresso equipment (grinder, doser, & maker) are expensive, but adding espresso drinks would take this place to a better level and I would upgrade my rating. read more

Such a great local spot on the corner of Main Street. I love what they did with the garage door that opens up on balmy spring and fall days. We all know you really want to know about the coffee and the gelato and the sorbet. I haven't tried all the coffee, but the brew I have tasted is truly good enough to drink black, just as it comes. As someone who loves all the rich froufrou lattes and mochas, that's really saying something. As for the gelato and the sorbet, well, you've got to try it for yourself. Various flavors, each of them true and fresh, delight the soul and the senses. My favorite is the cold brewed coffee flavor, or maybe the dark chocolate. Oops, I forgot about the raspberry sorbet and the strawberry...you see what I mean. I'll have to go back tomorrow to decide! read more

Blue Spruce - An avalanche is one of the best local treats-- something you must enjoy sooner or later! - Gelato Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

First time trying this place. The atmosphere was great, very aesthetically pleasing. I love that they allow you to get multiple favors! The sorbet and gelato were excellent. We got a sample of coffee. I love that they offer it in smaller sizes to be able to sample it before committing to the full bag. So excited to try the coffee! Will definitely be coming back!!! read more

Blue Spruce - a person holding a bottle of coffee beans - Gelato Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

I am an ice cream lover, through and through. Blue Spruce has a great variety of flavors, however the only thing I am bummed out about is the expensive prices for a little portion of ice cream. Why pay $7 for a 6-8oz cup of ice cream, when you could get a milkshake and small fries at braums for cheaper. read more

We were just passing through town on the way back to Fort Worth, the little wanted ice cream and we wanted coffee. Imagine my surprised to find a place where we could do even better than that and get gelato and gelato with espresso!!! She had peanut butter, it was delicious, and I had a dark chocolate avalanche which was divine. My boyfriend had the cold brewed coffee gelato in his avalanche and it was also scrumptious! We will never pass through Stilly without stopping by the Blue Spruce! read more

Blue Spruce - 9pm on a Friday. - Gelato Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

I'm a Blue Spruce fan. They serve quality coffee (of a few different beans and brewing methods) and quality gelato (of a dozen different flavors). The atmosphere is cool and so are the owners. A couple of other nice notes: there's a well kept bathroom, fresh ice water, and free samples to help you make a decision. One thing that may disappoint some is that they no longer serve grilled cheese (as of a year ago-ish). Still, the gelato can hold its own in this world. read more

Amazing gelato and sorbet, the kids said it was "the best ice cream they'd ever had", and that's saying something! The owners are delightful and we chatted for a few minutes before leaving. We ended up with more ice cream to go and a pound of wonderful coffee beans. Will definitely be back next time we're in town. Support your local-owned small businesses! read more

Stopped through Stillwater overnight on a long road trip. After a LONG day of work, loading, driving, etc, Blue Spruce was a welcome break to relax. It was nighttime, so I didn't feel like having coffee, but it looked like they could make a damn fine cup of coffee. So, I had three flavors of gelato. Holy cow, I inhaled it. It was so good. Thanks for a great spot to relax and eat some amazing gelato. This may be one of the highlights that Stillwater has to offer in terms of quality food/beverage. read more

The girl who served us was so nice and friendly but the main thing was that the Gelato was amazing!! It was so smooth and creamy! We stumbled upon this place but would go back in a heartbeat! read more

This place is a place for the super hipster! I am writing a review about the ice cream counter only as I have not tried the coffee as delicious as it smells. The gelato and sorbet both are exquisite. The sizes are fairly small but don't let that fool you, the flavors are so rich a small is all that's needed to feel very satisfied! The prices are on the high side for ice cream but it's artisan, so in my opinion it's worth it for the quality of the treat! If you aren't sure about a flavor, be sure to ask for a sample. As a bonus, they have color changing spoons that are lots of fun! Disabled review: There is a handicap parking spot right by this location but the door closest to it is not the most accessible as it has a small threshold into the door, nothing a wheelchair couldn't get over but you never know. One door has no threshold and is very accessible. Seating inside or out easily fits a wheelchair. The counters are all short and someone in a wheelchair can see all the ice cream and flavors without issue. I have not used the bathrooms in this establishment so I am not sure of them but they look like single-stall locking door type bathrooms. read more

My grandkids have to go every time they come visit. I love that they can sample something new before committing to their order.

Every time we are downtown the kids beg and plead with us to go to Blue Spruce. The gelato and sorbet is the absolute best. The atmosphere is very relaxed and open. You can also get some tasty fancy coffee. The best part is this is a true local business that is owned by the nicest family ever. Adorable and nice minimal decor. Tried the fresh cantaloupe sorbet and hot tea, plus the free wifi. Will stop in again the next time I'm in Stillwater. read more

Bare minimal decor which is very hipsterish, can't understand what the hell is being served but by god the gelato is unreal! I had chocolate chip and a scoop of the cinnamon apple, probably the best gelato I have had outside of Italy. Would have never guessed it in Stillwater, OK! Cool spot, will be visiting again when I'm in Stillwater. read more

Very cute atmosphere, very nice when garage door is open when weather is nice, plus great gelato! Not too many flavors but all have been good so far. read more

This place has very good ice cream, or sorbet if you want to be technically correct. There are about 8 flavors to chose from but they are all fairy free so it would be a good destination for somebody who is lactose intolerant. The sorbet is very tasty but a little too expense for the small portions. The atmosphere is also a little too granola or hipster for me. I'll stick to braums but it was a good experience. read more
