We enjoyed our first meal at Nancy's in Perkins. We had the "cheesy bites" which are basically a chopped up small or medium pizza crust with cheeses and garlic plus dipping sauce. Nothing like what you are thinking from Pizza Hut, these were light and flavorful. The small was plenty for 2 people as an app. Yumm. My pasta Alfredo was ok. The sauce was fresh but thin and under seasoned. The lasagna with meat sauce was quite good. Unlike the Alfredo, this sauce was bursting with flavor. I dipped some cheesy bites in it.... Heaven. The layers of cheese and pasta were very good too. Very good meal. We will be back for more lasagna, for shore. We didn't try their pizza this trip, but it looked very good. Next time maybe. The layout was cozy and seasonally decorated. Very inviting. Hard wood seating was less inviting for my old a@@. The wait staff were young but professional. Great service with a team waiting approach. Nice to be in such good hands to enjoy a meal, plus we were sent home with a refill of our drinks. We don't get to stillwater much any more, but when we do, we will certainly zip over to Perkins for another good meal. read more

Came in at 6pm on a Thursday night and the food took over an hour. We ordered one pizza and one order of lasagna. I get that they are focused on quality, but that's ridiculous. The decor was nice and the lighting was calming. Waiter was helpful & knowledgeable. I had grandkids with me and needed gelato that was free of red dye. They had vanilla bean that we felt was safe. They loved it! I ordered a chicken ranch with bacon wrap. It took awhile to get it, but was worth the wait. I'd like to try the pizza sometime. Parking was right in front of the entrance. One of the place's in Oklahoma I'll miss most! The Factory Pizza in Perkins will go down as my favorite hidden gem in Payne County. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and had never skipped a beat. As always, we started off dinner with the garlic cheesy bites and the stuffed mushrooms. I didn't like mushrooms until coming here and now they're a staple in my life lol. The garlic cheesy bites are to die for and just thinking about them makes me crave them. For our main meals, we got the fettuccine Alfredo, the Herban Chicken Pizza , the pepperoni Pizza, and the build your own with hamburger, Canadian Bacon, and black olives. The Legit Hawaiian Pizza is.....legit! Best pizza in the Stillwater surrounding area. Why would you get fries with pizza? Idk, but Nancy's makes it make sense. The ranch pairs perfectly with it as well. Also, I think they hide the pepperonis under an extra layer of cheese, so that's cool. We were traveling through the area and stopped in here for a late lunch; there were three of us. We ordered the chicken wrap, BBQ chicken wings, salad and a pizza. While our order was being made they brought out a new pastry that they were perfecting. It was Pavlova with lemon curd sauce and fresh fruit. They asked us to try it! We gave them positive feedback and I hope it makes it onto the menu soon. Our order arrived and everything was super tasty. The salad was made with fresh greens from the garden, the BBQ wings best we have ever tasted, pizza was perfect and the wrap was amazing; the gooey cheese inside was a nice surprise. A little later, the owner came over and chatted with us and we had a nice conversation about the restaurant biz. Just about everything there is homemade and you can tell. I am going to write this knowing it's a very small town pizza joint. It was okay, I have had much worse. We ordered two pizzas, mozzarella sticks, stuffed mushrooms and flatbread all for $55.00 including tax and tip. The staff were very friendly and helpful as i had not been back in that area in a long time. The flatbread was amazing, especially when you dip it in the balsamic and oils. The mushrooms were not great at all and very small. The mozzarella sticks were...I dont know what they were. The pizza was okay but without a lot of flavor. Oh, goot lawd. I decided it was a good night for pizza and was tired of being let down by the chain operations, so I decided to check good ol' Yelp for something local that might be worth a flop. Factory showed up with the highest rating in the area so we rolled that way. So very worth the drive over. Brothers and sisters, this pizza is perfect. The crust is amazing, the sauce is delicious, the toppings are spot-on, and the cook on the whole thing is beyond reproach. I don't see how it could be any better than this. This place is out of the ordinary amazing flavor and much more than just plain Jane pizza. Tonight we got stuffed mushrooms and the big fat Greek pizza, a small fed 2 hungry adults with some to take home. Stuffed mushrooms are like a jalapeño poppers only made out of mushrooms with cream cheese, green onions and bacon inside. So good I can't describe it. They serve a delicious Ruben sandwich which is my usual- and their flatbread is the best I've had since San Francisco's pier 39 restaurant with the sourdough (can't remember the name of that famous place, but this food is as good). Great family restaurant and reasonably priced. If you are anywhere near Perkins OK or just wanting to drive to a good inexpensive diner for date night- you can't go wrong with the Factory! Love it. PS- they don't advertise it but they'll sell you their dough if you ask. Pick it up on your way home from work and pretend you cooked dinner.
