Came here for the first time last Saturday. My sister-in-law reserved the party room for her baby shower ($25, can't beat that!) so we were there early trying to set up. We arrived around 12:30 and the front of the building was packed full of high school kids. There was some kind of FFA get together (I don't know what it was exactly) over at OSU and all of the kids needed a break I guess. The front of the store is decent sized, but it was hard to get to the back hallway where the party room was due to the amount of people in the front and how the tables were set up. So we got down the hall to the party room and it was massive! I think the party room had more space than the front area. It came ready with 4 tables with nice chairs and a few side tables that we used for gifts and snacks. The room needed a good sweeping, but overall it was better than we'd imagined. Great size for the number of people that were coming. Due to the number of invitees to the shower, and the already large group of kids that kept showing up, the wait for ice cream was a little long. They were understaffed with only 2 workers, and you could tell the workers had had it. My sister-in-law had mentioned they might need to have an extra worker that day, when she made the room reservation, but the manager didn't seem concerned with it. Oh well, she tried. Anyway, on to the ice cream! They have ice cream and mix-in combinations listed across the top of the ice cream case with pictures, for those of us that need visuals to help make decisions ;) So, basically just like Cold Stone Creamery. I opted to make my own creation and went with the Red Velvet ice cream with white chocolate chips and Oreos. YUM! There were at least 18 different types of freshly made ice cream to choose from, and a ton of mix-in options. My small cup was definitely more than enough, but if you want more ice cream they also have a medium and large cup option. Don't want a cup? They have cones and waffle bowls available. The poor workers were pretty stressed, so I'll blame their attitudes on that. I would like to think if I came in on a different day that they would have acted more friendly and welcoming. This location is in a prime spot right across the street from the original Hideaway Pizza location. Parking spots up front are limited, so if there's a lot going on in that area you might be parking down the road and walking. Oh and one last note, the party room had limited a/c. Not good when you have a room full of ladies, 2 of them pregnant, and it's almost 90 degrees outside. read more

Went in yesterday and they had only half of their ice cream containers out and pretty much no toppings so my husband and I walked back out. This place continues to go down hill, they often do not have the items their menu has. There were only 3 cookie options in the case as well. read more

They don't leave the ice cream on the slab long enough. As soon as you get it it's melted like soup! Couldn't even eat it in the cone...

They didn't have any of the toppings we wanted and didn't have very many options for ice cream. The employees were very slow.

Yummylicous but super expensive. I got their chocolate ice cream with heath, Oreos, and m&ms. It was still crazy to pay $7.20 for ice cream with crushed candy in it. read more

customer service was not helpful even after knowing it was our first time, they didn't bother to explain anything to us and acted annoyed we took a little longer to choose our flavors. Ice cream tastes freezer burnt and not really worth it for the price. Wont be coming back. read more

Absolutely gas. Sweet cream is delicious. It's one of my favorites. Highly recommend if you love ice cream.

We came in to get some ice cream and I asked if I could use the bathroom and they legit gave me a key that had an ice cream cup attached to it to use the bathroom. On top of that, the bathroom definitely needed to be cleaned in a bad way and improvements to the sink needed to be made. When I asked them why the bathroom was not cleaned, they shrugged their shoulders. If you ask my recommendation on this place, I'd shrug my shoulders and throw up my hands at best. read more

The marble slab/Great American Cookie co. will never again get a dime from me. My wife passed away 18 months ago. So my kids & I wanted to celebrate her birthday by purchasing a cookie cake & enjoying it at her grave site. After making the order & paying for it I received a call 2 hours later saying they didn't have anyone to make the cookie. I told them that's fine just refund my money & I'll order from the store in okc. 3 weeks later & 4/5 calls to the store & 1 visit in person the employee could only tell me that the manager received the message & never comes to the store. She wouldn't give me a contact name or number to resolve the issue. Thats definitely no way to treat costumers. They honestly don't deserve one star. read more

Terrible experience. We ordered an ice cream cake online and when we arrived to pick it up they acted like they never received the order in the first place. Then, after waiting for them to make a whole new one and getting home with it, we realized that they created the wrong cake. We ordered cookies and cream and I'm not exactly sure what they gave us but it definitely was not cookies and cream. read more

They closed 30 minutes early on a Friday night!!! If your store hours say 12-10:30 you should be open from 12 to 10:30!! Not close 30 minutes early! Especially in a college town where most customers are up late anyway. Also, employees were very rude when they were the ones who closed and locked the door 30 minutes early. read more

I intended to take out the family for some great ice cream and fun. The staff were uncaring, rude, and disrespectful. The staff seemed annoyed with the children and bothered we would patron the business. We felt unappreciated and unwanted. We left without making a purchase and went to Braum's where we were welcomed, served, and valued. My family of 7 won't be back to Marble. read more

So this was my first order... it was yesterday and it never got delivered. Called customer service they couldn't get ahold of the driver to see what happened. Obviously they say it'll be refunded. Well nope they certainly didn't do that either. I never got to even try this place bc their driver is incompetent and can't follow the simplest directions (literally had to make like 3 turns alright) then won't answer her cell phone probably ate everything I bought and now I don't even get my money back. My dad and I stopped in here on a random, sweltering day before my sisters wedding. Marble Slab has the same concept as Cold Stone Creamery--lots of flavors of ice cream and lots of options to mix in with your ice cream. I went with the Red Velvet Wonderful-Red Velvet ice cream, pecans, chocolate fudge, and brownie all mixed together. The end result? The name says it all...it was wonderful! It's nothing flashy or super exciting, but give if you're looking for a place in tiny Stillwater to grab some ice cream...give it a try! read more

I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday from marble slab creamery, I placed my order on the 5th for the 13th of May. However, when I went to pick it up on on the 13th, we went at 10 AM, as instructed and they weren't even open until noon. We waited and then, when they opened, the girl said they had forgotten to make the cake. She said she could make it within an hour or two as it was pretty simple, and she would call us when it was due for pickup. So, we go to pick it up mid day, and she says she needs until 9pm. By then the birthday would basically be over, but we already paid for it and really liked the design, along with being promised a discount. So, 9pm comes around and we go to pick it up. The only person there is a guy who says he doesn't know how to enter any discount code and the cake is already melting so we just take it home without the discount. Upon getting home, we look and the cake is just sloppy and not very pretty, for full price, I may add. Overall, it was a bad experience and I won't be returning ever again. read more
