Gibsons donuts in Memphis is not only the best donut Ive ever had, it's probably my number one rated eatery anywhere. That said, Missy's donuts and baked goods are probably the second best. It's dangerous living so close to Missy's. The lunches are good. The breakfast sandwiches and kolaches are very good. But what you need to get yourself are some donuts, cinnamon rolls or fritters. The chocolate longjon is probably the best item on the menu. I take it back. The chocolate longjohn IS the best donut on the menu and the best in a 5 state radius. Missy's is always busy, but they get you in and out quickly. It's reasonably priced in comparison to most places and we'll worth the price and wait. Do yourself a favor and get that chocolate longjohn. Maybe even fill it with Bavarian. So good. read more

Took a little road trip to Missy's for a late lunch. We were happy to know on a Thursday they are open till 5pm. Their homemade bread is soft and both sandwiches were delicious. We had their cheesy chicken enchilada soup which I would highly recommend. Bonus is there was still a good selection of donuts to choose from at 3:30 in the afternoon. Girls were up for a 30 min drive... The baked items were worth the drive! Oh my! Staff is super friendly. Donuts were a big hit for the toddler daughters. It's 9 in the morning and the eating area is dirty. The first 5 things I ordered they were out of?? 9 on Saturday? I probably should have given a one star. The staff was polite, not friendly or apologetic about being out of most everything.. the case was empty and they had to keep running in the back to check if there were anything back there. While visiting the area we were told Missy's Donuts was a must. We stopped in on our way home to see what the fuss was about, they were right! It was a short wait, considering how popular they are, we didn't mind. We tried the blueberry donuts and got a lemon and blueberry loaf to take home. The donuts melt in your mouth! I am glad I got the loaf so I could enjoy it with a cup of coffee after we got home. The loaf is moist and has the right amount of lemon and blueberries. Definitely worth a stop! This is a really cute stop in Guthrie. They have donuts that are super fresh. They also have a wide variety of sandwhiches on their homemade bread. They don't post their prices which is kinda odd to me. Their sandwiches are around $10 (no side) but they have some of the best chicken nuggets (real chicken chunks) and those are under $5. I tried the ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was not a croissant and had a strange texture and taste I wasn't fond of but I also got their cheese fries and those were yummy. 5 stars for the super friendly staff read more

Stopped by on our way out of state, realized on my receipt after I was 40 min away that I was charged for 2 coffees but I only asked for 1. Also,they need to list prices. I was in a rush ordering a few things for our trip and when I heard my total I was shocked that the chicken salad sandwich was $9.61 ( only a sandwhich) . We drove from Yukon to gutherie for bee pollen and found this gem. The fresh bread sign had us! I was shocked that it was packed at 12:30pm as I consider donut breakfast. After we got out good (scone, cinnamon roll, coffee roll, cake donut and sandwich) I immediately realized why it was packed. The bread- BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! The donuts- I HAVENT HAD BETTER! One chocolate Long John One coffee One Chocolate Long John Did I order two Long Johns? No, I order it one and one style, like free throws in basketball. (Unless you are in the double bonus already) Okay now to the actual taste and greatness of the doughnuts themselves. The first Long John was the perfect amount of sweet and the chocolate glaze was everything I needed to soothe my soul bright and early in the morning. The coffee was well roasted and hot! The second Long John was so soft and almost melted in my mouth. It was tear-able, squishable, and all in all bite-able. First off, not the best donuts. We stopped in because everyone bragged about missy's. It was a Saturday morning ,so extremely busy. No parking. Got inside to find a line at the counter. No body knew who ordered what or if they ordered . We ordered a cinnamon roll and three filled long John's. They tried to give our order to another guy and we had to prove it was ours. Left store because no where to sit. Finally got to experience the donuts. The cinnamon roll was raw in the center and one of our long John's was a twist covered in fudge. So much fudge! To put it simply, Missy's donuts are legitimately the best donuts around, ever since my senior year in '09, I have sang the praises. You can literally leave them in the box for multiple days and they are still as good as the day of, (though hot donuts are the best period). I recently had two different coworkers try to tell me that three other donut places from Edmond to OKC were the best, and argued with them for months on this. I told them they were so wrong. Finally after the perfect storm of timing, I was able to present them the donuts. The first coworker got to try a glazed donut roughly 14 hours after we got it, and after his first bite his eyes grew wide, and he just kept saying wow. I reminded him that it was 14 hours old, and it's still that good. He was shocked and agreed they were truly as good as my praise. The second coworker got the vanilla cake sprinkle donut, and he halved it with the first coworker, both took a bite and conceded defeat, the donut they had was 38 hours old and was still as moist as the morning we got them. Both of which have decided that they too, will take the hour to Guthrie and back to get these donuts when they next get donuts. Missy's donuts brings Non-believers from the dark of donut inferiority to the light of true donut superiority. I also tried a roast beef and swiss sandwich while there.... It was piled with real roast beef. Not processed lunch meat but real roast beef like my grandma used to make. I know that in Guthrie, OK Nationwide COVID protocols are not mandatory, but as an out-of-towner I was disappointed to see employees without face coverings or any updated Safety measures....during this pandemic. I would have just hoped that this local business (which INCREDIBLE REVIEWS) would take a tip from the big dogs with nationwide stores to protect their employees and customers. The store looked cute and clean, but this was a huge turn off....and for a donut shop just off the highway near basically ALL the hotels of Guthrie you would think they would want to be 100% at national protocol or even better.
