We spent time looking at the donut case and making our choices. I wanted a kolache and commented to my friend that we were going to the other donut place for Kolaches. We were then given the opportunity to try their rendition and it was a great move on the owners part to offer. Try the sausage pillow pocket thing - it's not a kolache but you've probably never had anything like it. The sausage filling was great and stuffed inside a glazed donut. The donuts were equally as delicious and big. Speaking with the woman behind the counter it's apparent that this is a family business. She was personable, answered our ridiculous questions, and shared a little bit about their store. My total was $18 for a dozen donuts, a drink, and some gratuity. I believe this was a fair value and a great way to support #local small businesses.

Shoutout to Angel who steered the boy towards the Strawberry Cheese Cake waffle, all of which he destroyed in about three bites. I opted for a plain ol' waffle so I could take their syrups for a spin and that was a smart play. If you've had 'pancake syrup' and then stepped up to pure maple syrup, then you know there is no going back. Toss in their cinnamon-vanilla syrup (drool) or their silky-sweet 'Waffle Sauce' (it's almost like a thinner frosting) and you can divide a waffle into separate quadrants of different tastes. Pricing is pretty reasonable but the value outpaces the price point. Eat inside if you wish or, Oklahoma weather permitting, find a spot just out front. Just Wafflin' mixes Oklahoma nice with outstanding food with different twists to make a wonderful breakfast spot. If there were more stars to give, then I'd be using them all.
