The chocolate longjon is probably the best item on the menu. I take it back. The chocolate longjohn IS the best donut on the menu and the best in a 5 state radius. Missy's is always busy, but they get you in and out quickly. It's reasonably priced in comparison to most places and we'll worth the price and wait. I tried a few times and he rudely said,," it's not working". I asked if it was his machine and he gave me a look of irritation! I then said, By your attitude, I change my mind" and left! We spent time looking at the donut case and making our choices. I wanted a kolache and commented to my friend that we were going to the other donut place for Kolaches. We were then given the opportunity to try their rendition and it was a great move on the owners part to offer. Try the sausage pillow pocket thing - it's not a kolache but you've probably never had anything like it. The sausage filling was great and stuffed inside a glazed donut. The donuts were equally as delicious and big. Speaking with the woman behind the counter it's apparent that this is a family business. She was personable, answered our ridiculous questions, and shared a little bit about their store. My total was $18 for a dozen donuts, a drink, and some gratuity. I believe this was a fair value and a great way to support #local small businesses.
