Stopped in after church a little after noon on a Sunday. Wasn't too busy and as soon as we walked in we were seated. Inside looked clean, very much a Pub style restaurant. They are still taking COVID precautions with a plastic cover in between seating. Service was good. We received our food pretty quickly from when ordered, and our server was really nice. It don't seem like she was familiar with the menu though. We ordered the potato skins for appetizer and they were pretty good. The kids loved them which is huge because they typically don't like potatoes and cheese together LOL. For meals the kids got tenders and fries off the kids menu. My husband and I ordered off the summer menu . He got the ribs and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Food was meh, nothing exciting but nothing terrible! Which I was a little disappointed by. The pork was good but they gave me ketchup for the fries instead of BBQ sauce for the meat. I didn't mind it without the sauce so I didn't bother them with that. My husband wasn't crazy about the ribs either, he said that they were probably a 5. Again, not terrible just not exciting! We also had grits and a fruit cup for our baby and we couldn't feed him fast enough LOL. We did not get any dessert so I'm unable to speak to that. Also, my son and husband ordered a Sprite which they both agreed wasn't Sprite. My husband said it was probably Seltzer water or just really watered down. They were kind to replace with something else though. Overall, it was a clean and friendly restaurant, easy parking, with some outside seating. I do think this is a good place to come for drinks and to watch a game. I can tell this is a business that has graced this town for years! As far as restaurant menu options and taste, we just weren't that impressed. This was our first time here so I'm unsure of the other menu items. We all agreed the fries were awesome and probably our favorite from the menu.

Grouper Sandwich!

Our server was amazing, she was very attentive and on point with the recommendations. I had the grouper sandwich, my mom had the blue ribbon burger, and my aunt had the salmon. We enjoyed everything! I left my receipt-I wish I knew our server's name, she refilled drinks without having to be flagged down, she brought out a bag with our Togo boxes. She thought about condiments we would need, and even sent out the salads as appetizers without us having to ask. A lot of people don't realize how great it is to dine out and not have to be a nuisance to your server because she thought ahead and took great care of us. The parking lot is spacious and it shares parking with the Michael's and Moe's. I called on the phone and the guy who answered the phone was very friendly! Our meals were prepared within about 10-15 minutes even though my mom ordered a well done burger! I'm very pleased with the food and service here at Blue Ribbon, I definitely got a neighborhood vibe and I really enjoyed it. The tables were sat with respect to social distancing and they even have partitions separating tables to keep germs contained. The tables are sanitized and wiped down immediately after a guest leaves and I appreciate that. Now for my food: I had the Ceasar salad it was cool I didn't taste any anchovy in there which a lot of people don't care for but I do. My aunt LOVED the balsamic vinaigrette, which we hear is made in house-she also loved the blue ribbon salad! I LOVED my grouper sandwich which is not a "fishy" fish it's more meaty and flaky and all around fantastic. The sandwich is HUGE (and deliciously crunchy) I had to take half home :) the fries are crunchy and nice I love the outer crunch. I like the tartar sauce with my sandwich and it came with a side of coleslaw in addition to fries. No frozen drinks at the bar but they do have a beer and wine selection and virgin drinks available for the kiddies and non-drinkers. Seating is available both inside and outside and as I said service was A1! Thanks everyone Needless to say, I'll be back!

Prime rib, mashed potatoes and gravy, crispy onion, shards, and spinach salad with a lovely dressing

I went to the new location... zero appeal... not even sure what they were thinking when they came up with this idea it doesn't feel warm and inviting like the other place did so. I definitely won't be dining in however I ordered the prime rib. It was very good. The Ajou sauce fantastic. I also got the spinach salad, which was delicious. It had a nice amount of mushrooms and bacon so that being said great and also the salad dressing was like a sweet tangy dressing that went perfect with it. I also got mashed potatoes and gravy instead of a baked potato, but I think I should've gotten a baked potato because the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious, but I don't feel like it was enough for the meal anyway the prime rib it had fat on the other rim, but otherwise was tender and very flavorful. The mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious and it came with a little bit of fried onion crispy kind of shards and they were delicious. My interaction was with Bill and Tara and they were both very very friendly and inviting so I will give this place an eight out of 10 due to the ambience

My family and I ate here a couple weeks ago. The restaurant is in a strip mall, so it doesn't look like anything special, but we had a decent experience. The interior kind of reminds me of the set of the TV show Cheers. I will say that the pastry crust bowl was a great feature, but it was more like a chicken soup and the flavor was kind of bland. If there was more seasoning and the sauce was thicker it would be AMAZING! My husband started with a beer and I had one of their $8 cocktails. The waitress spilled some of it on the floor and didn't even clean it up. They were both good and cold. I got the half serving of the meatloaf. It was DELICIOUS! The portion was large, flavorful, and tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans were good, but nothing special. My husband and I split the brownie for dessert. One of our family members had the bread pudding andanother the oreo cheesecake. All of them were delicious, but the bread pudding really hit the spot! Rating from F to A+++, I give it an B+.

Love the eggs over easy breakfast and the Beef Free Turkey Burger with bacon platter!

Scratch my earlier review. Apparently the older bald male bartender is okay wiping his runny nose and serving others with the same nasty hands. He's wearing gloves but doing it all wrong touching everything including his mucous. He basically told me f*#% you when I tried to bring this to his attention in good faith as I left the other day accordingly. He would seemingly infect anyone he comes into contact with and not care. He had the same runny nose today so I didn't stick around. He says he's ready to leave this place, anyway. If it's nasty and unsanitary on game day then imagine the other days. Really sad because I wanted nothing more than to genuinely like this place. Consistently, not first impressions matter most.

Decent food, but consistently "optional" service. Not friendly or unfriendly. Seems like it wouldn't matter if we visited or not.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!

The ube drink is excellent, not super sweet but you can taste the ube flavor and the end is a citrus note which is nice. The other 2 drinks we had were ordered off menu after we explained to the bartender some of taste preferences. The Singapore sling was excellent as well as the other one he made. You can tell that they really care about their craft and are wanting to experiment with different flavors! It was nice being able to sit at the bar and chat as well

Atrocious experience this Saturday 4/25/26…read more We were actually over at sweet hut around 9pm and decided to check out Sapphire Karaoke since they were close by. At 9:26pm, we sent 2 people from our group of 6 to go by Sapphire to see if they had availability for us. The manager told them "yes, we will have a room in 5 minutes" so the rest of our group showed up excited and ready to karaoke. We waiting patiently 10-15 minutes and the manager came by again with "I'm sorry but someone messed up reservations and we won't have a room until 10pm". It was 9:44 pm at this point. The manager could tell we were about to leave and she comes back and says "oh good news, this group is checking out now. I'll have a room ready in 10 minutes". 2 from our group couldn't wait longer so they left. The rest of us decided to wait and got 2 bottles of Soju. It's $15 a bottle and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NON OPTIONAL GRATUITY so keep that in mind if you want to leave a tip, it's additional. Our total for the soju ended up averaging $20 a bottle. I asked the manager at 10pm what's going on and she just cuts me off and keeps walking with a "hold on". 10:15pm rolls around and the manager was no where to be seen. At this point we have been waiting 45 minutes with no updates when the original wait quote was FIVE minutes. We saw 3-4 parties come in and get seated. I'm not sure what kind of business they're trying to run but we sure felt BAMBOOZLED out of $50 for 2 bottles of soju and wasted 45 minutes of our time. They clearly have to figure out their scheduling/reservation system if the staff are making multiple errors. Don't lie to patrons that you have a room available when you don't. This felt like the equivalent of an overbooked/oversold flight and they were hoping they could get more clients to cover no shows- at least be honest and say we were on a waitlist.

The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!
