After my car had been sitting at the shop for 5 hours, I decided to drive by and see if they had begun working on it; they had not and it was still parked in the same spot. I called and asked if any progress had been made and I was lied to and told that they had begun working on it. After another couple hours, they moved my car to a different spot and called me to tell me that the leak couldn't be repaired and the whole window MUST be replaced (I was told, at first, that the repair was estimated at $60-150). I later had the window simply sealed in some small spots, at a professional shop, for free. This shop is the perfect example of mediocrity and this experience was so bad I'd honestly hate for others to waste their money here.

I depend on my car for work use to support my family of 6 kids. I took my car in for a major repair that costs over $2,000 and exactly 1 year later the exact same parts failed in the manor of why U took my car to The Shop in the first place. When I took my car back the shop owner refused to do anything about it, nor tried to warranty anything. Is this the way a local business is supposed to treat a small town working man? It gets even worse with what I actually found out. The parts that failed weren't even new parts that I paid so much money for, after getting several professional opinions from other automotive shops, including the one that actually fixed it right. I found out that the parts were no way only a year old as the bolts and components were completely rusted out and shown much more age with the condition they were in, to be in the shape and appearance compared to other like parts and components of 1-year in age. Of course I went back to Ron, the owner and confronted him about it, he actually escorted me out of his place of business and went on in denial of the whole thing, and literally was happy to wash his hands of the whole thing, like I was a nobody. And since I also found out that taking him to court would cost more than what I would get back in restitution, I'm going to let every fellow Pendleton local know if The Shop's deceitful ways so that you can trust someone else with your car. If your car is scheduled to go to the shop, do yourself a huge favor and go get it right now to take it somewhere else, and If you are already stuck with using the shop because they are already working on it, please inspect what you expect, because they don't honor their warranties, if they actually have any, and don't get used or so-called refurbished parts like I got. When my truck was already on the tow truck the driver told me it was actually $260. He said his boss told him that amount, and he said it was because the price of diesel had gone up $6. He said he was not good at estimating. I guess I could have said take the truck off, but it was already done and foolishly I went ahead and paid it. I called Frankie's. (FYI: There is no Frankie. The name is fake.) I talked to the owner, Joe. He insisted their regular rate was $260. I don't dispute that, but that's not the price I was quoted. I asked for a refund of $100. Joe wouldn't hear of it. He wouldn't even acknowledge at least a misunderstanding. I suggested we split the difference, perhaps a miscommunication on both sides. He still refused. I did let him know that I would write a review. He told me that he a vindictive, retaliatory type. Please understand I am writing this review from my point of view to assist others in deciding who to call and getting a quote in writing if possible to avoid this. And yes, I do think for good customer relations we should have been able to resolve this in a far more productive way. Thank you.

After I brought it up they told me that they noticed two days before I came to pick it up that someone broke into my car. They didn't call me or the police the day it happened and they didn't mention it when I was paying/picking up my car. They were very rude and refused to give me their insurance information. The officer that came to look at my car told me there was no damage anywhere where someone would have broken in so they had the key or the mechanic left it unlocked.
