We wanted a bit of a fancy dinner to cap off our break weekend and this was supremely wonderful! This space is somehow elegant, a bit pricy, ultra attentive service, and yet you feel like a relaxed family with your fellow diners giving recommendations and sharing ideas with zero aura of pretension. The seafood blends into everything and is the star but do not discount the details and sauces of each item to make it truly unique. There's zings and pows and delightfulness in addition to the huge pieces of scallop and salmon cake. The sense of richness is brought to every plate you don't want to stop eating. Do not sleep on their cocktail offerings! Strong drinks with strong mixed flavors- I got the silly blue drink with the blinking light inside and it was hilariously fun but also VERY tasty, tangy, and wonderful to drink alongside the food. I don't know how they manage to keep a cozy sense of special romance along with fun camaraderie but it's something unique to take notice and highly recommend to enjoy!

Another great family vacation meal at Blue Moon! Great food, drinks and atmosphere. The French Kiss Martini came with wax lips which were a fun hit at our table. The S'mores Martini had a full roasted marshmallow and piece of chocolate. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was fantastic. The mashed potatoes were salty. The Bomb dessert was incredible and great for our party of 7 to share.

We came here for dinner one night for a bachelorette party and overall enjoyed it! We had 12 people and they were mostly able to accommodate us - the ordering and paying went smoothly, but they did tell us last minute that they had another group coming and we needed to leave (we understood, but thought it was done in a really rude way and felt abrupt, so I'm docking a star because of that). The food was tasty, although I thought the drinks were sort of meh. The ambiance is lively, and even though we were sitting in the dining area we caught parts of the show after and loved that! The bride-to-be got a giant slice of cake that we all shared and it was a fun way to top off the meal!

We tried one of there off season special nights; it was pretty good especially for the price. I believe our group also thought it was a good evening out. I started with mozzarella sticks, tasty, others had the mini meatballs and someone had the wedding soup. Entrees were a little hit and miss. I had the veal piccata over pasta, it was acceptable. Someone had it and found it tough . Dessert I went with the tiramisu. It was a 3 course dinner with wine for a set price (it was more like an Italian night menu from the choices they had ). We will try another night before the season specials are over.

We came to Blue Moon this weekend on a recommendation from a friend. We originally had plans to eat at another place but it was unexpectedly closed. We easily gott a Blue Moon reservation about 90 min before we arrived. We arrived about 15 min early and they were able to accommodate us and seat us at that time. We were seated on the porch which I thought would be fun to people watch (of course it never stopped pouring so there wasn't much to watch). The table itself was very bizarro. It was 2 tables pushed together and could seat 4-5 people even tho there were only of us. Our second table was only about 4" from the next party. I was trapped into my seat with no way to get out unless a server would move the table for me. Luckily I did not have to use the bathroom. When I inquired about the odd set up the server told me I could use the other table to put any plates I wanted on there. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which we enjoyed. I got the lobster risotto - it was very good. It was not what I expected. The risotto was buttery instead of creamy but it still tasted good. My bf ate the lamb chops which he enjoyed. We both loved the bread and butter - which was flavored w honey and parsley. One thing that was strange - there was a walkway with a shelf behind my bf's seat. The servers kept reaching over my bf's shoulder to bring things to the table instead of walking the 3 extra steps to stand table side. While we were eating I could hear singing coming from the lounge. After we were done we headed into that lounge. And we had the most enjoyable show!! Autumn Schneider performed an hour long show singing numbers from Broadway shows and telling us about her history performing Broadway. She was extraordinary and we wished we had moved in sooner to see the start of her show. She is a real talent and I give her 5 stars! Will def be back this summer to see her!

Great experience! The food was delicious and service was attentive and quick. Ambiance was lovely, not too loud. The restaurant had a show going on but we were seated in the separate main dining area so if the show is not your thing and you prefer a more intimate setting you can choose the quiet area. I highly recommend getting the fried green tomatoes, whether as a starter by itself or as a side as part of the vegetarian entree.

OMG... this place is fabulous. Service, atmosphere, food. We will be back to try other menu items

Enjoyed the Tasting Tuesday menu consisting of a 3 course menu paired with wines for only $49. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. Enjoyed the stuffed shrimp too. The dessert was a mango cheesecake. Enjoyed the wines selected by the server. She was very nice and attentive too! Sat by window, so nice atmosphere!

If you're looking for great food & great ambience, this is the place for you. On the food side, we started with the roasted oysters appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. So flavorful! For my entree, I had the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. Wonderfully rich & so tasty. With asparagus included as a side. For my husband's entree, he had the short rib stroganoff. Delicious as well--I had several bites. We loved the setting as well. The restaurant is located in a grand old house that has class written all over it. We also appreciated that the tables weren't crammed together but were spaced out so we weren't too close to other people. Service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very attentive & very pleasant.

Make reservations!!! Try to get the main dining room- it's a bit quieter than the back room, which gets sone energy from the bar and/or the drag show. The service? Excellent. Bright friendly. Knowledgeable servers every time! The food? Amazing. Truly. Literally everything we've gotten both main courses and sides of been amazing. My partner had the duck breast which was excellent and succulent. I had the chicken pot pie survey because the server thought it was particularly good. And it was great, and hearty. our apps were excellent crawfish egg rolls; the fried green tomatoes were perfectly cooked- not too soft, not too hard! Prices are 20% above the beach average and worth every penny- especially when compared to that seafood restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue.... :)

Dessert Menu

Relaxed evening spot in downtown Rehoboth with a welcoming vibe. We happened to arrive during a live music performance, which was a lovely surprise. We came to Blue Moon with one thing in mind: the Bombe! A local favorite for 40 years, this monster ice cream layer cake is worth the $20 for the quality ice cream, meringue and chocolate (and the experience!) The dessert coffees were a miss, however. Tasted more like a haphazard mixture of syrups than a soothing coffee to close out a meal. Overall, Blue Moon gets a solid 4/5 for its dessert menu!

Food and service were excellent. Sizeable portions. Downside the tables with booths are very small and uncomfortable.

The service matched that energy perfectly: attentive without being intrusive, genuinely friendly,…read moreand clearly proud of what they were serving. And then there was the food. Every single dish we ordered was outstanding, no exceptions. Each plate showed real care in preparation, with flavors that were bold, balanced, and memorable. It's rare for an entire meal to hit without a single weak note, but that's exactly what happened here. Only recommendation? Add more N/A options (less juice forward). Maybe a Phony Negroni or something. What stood out most was how the whole experience came together--great food, great service, and great atmosphere rarely align this seamlessly. Shorebreak isn't just a solid meal out; it's the kind of place you start planning your next visit to before you've even left. Highly, highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and service was quick Food: their menu has gluten allergens clearly labeled. we tried numerous appetizers including the crab soup special, fancy fries, deviled eggs, and brussel sprouts. The sprouts were our least favorite of them as they were way to light on the sauce. The other 3 were all very good and I think my wife died over the soup's flavor. The chorizo meatloaf had each component good tasting but when combined was great. The short rib entree was both beautiful and tasty!

The sesame oil add a savory taste that really is surprising, interesting and lovely. We got the wok green beans. The pepper crisp and spices really complement the crispy snap of the beans. We also tried the scallion pancakes and edamame dumplings. Both were tasty. For the mains we got the Dan Dan noodles which were good. The soba noodles base was an interesting twist with more chew than the traditional egg noodles. What stole the show was the Singapore Black Pepper Crab. I haven't traditionally been much of a seafood eater. But this was transformative in my understanding of what crab can taste like. It's not for those who are hot food sensitive. It packs some heat but it is layered. It has the dry background for black pepper then the white pepper kicks in. Finally the fresh bird chilies on top bring that fresh tasting heat. With the snap and freshness of the sprouts. Wow it was amazing. Exactly what you want from Asian food. Salty, savory, a touch sweet, then the heat and umami. Will definitely crave this dish monthly. Our server was very good and attentive. She was outstanding. The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated and fun. It was lively the night we dined. Will definitely be back and often.

I want to start off by saying we used to LOVE THIS PLACE! Kitchen knows what they are doing- front…read moreof house- WOW Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a bar. Lincoln, the bartender, was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in providing any type of customer service. There were six of us, with five seats at the bar and one person standing. If they preferred that we sit at a table, that is completely understandable--but there is a professional way to communicate that. Instead, Lincoln never greeted us, barely acknowledged us, and when one of my friends simply asked what he was making, he literally rolled his eyes at her. From the start, we were made to feel like we were a burden. Then, instead of simply helping us find a table or taking our drink orders, a manager(we think) came over and started talking about the fire exit. The way she addressed one of our friends was completely inappropriate and came across as blatant fat-shaming. There was absolutely no reason to make a customer feel embarrassed or singled out because of their body. If there was a safety concern, it could have been addressed respectfully and privately. Another friend attempted to order a drink, and the manager told her she couldn't serve it. Again, instead of Lincoln stepping in and saying something as simple as, "I'll be happy to get that for you once I'm caught up," he said absolutely nothing. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to provide service. So we sat at the bar, were treated like an inconvenience, received nothing, and eventually left. I have never experienced such a complete lack of hospitality. Being busy is not an excuse for being rude. Having a group of six is not an excuse to roll your eyes at customers. And a safety concern is certainly not an excuse to make someone feel ashamed of their body. We came in ready to spend money and enjoy ourselves, and instead we were made to feel so unwelcome that we walked out without ordering a single thing. Management seriously needs to address the way customers are being treated here. Lincoln's attitude was unacceptable, and the manager's handling of the situation was even worse.
