Dining Room... Two tables and five stool, but there is seating outside.

The people behind the counter were great, I just wasn't that impressed with their brisket. It wasn't bad - and maybe it was simply a bad day or a bad cut of meat - but I was hoping for more. I'll try them again before I write it off!

Touring the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ spots. "A girl's take on BBQ". Visited Saturday 12/9, 11:00 am. What I ordered: moon nachos w/onions & jalapenos, cowboy cornbread My take: the chopped beef in the moon nachos was delicious / the cornbread with brisket, chilies, onion and cheese and skillet baked is a clever and tasty side The place: a tiny building with themed decor inside and several styles of Blue Moon ball caps for sale. There is additional covered seating adjacent to the building outside Pro Tip: try the cornbread

So far, blue moon is the best BBQ I've tried! I drove 30 mins to this place. And the brisket and the back rib totally convinced me that it worth the 1 hour round trip. Me and my friends ordered brisket, baby back ribs, cowboy corn bread and banana pudding. The brisket is so tender and moist, and sometimes you can feel it's melted in your mouth. The ribs are so good even without the sauce. The skin is crispy and you can taste the "flavor of coal" (I mean it's like real BBQ). The banana pudding taste very healthy. It is sweet but not like those oversweet addictive but like real homemade original flavor pudding! Mrs. Moon is super nice and very enthusiastic! Very good place to have BBQ and I'll try to go next time on Thursday night to get some good prime ribs!

Turkey and brisket with macaroni salad

We had pretty high expectations when we went here a while ago especially since it has been featured on Texas Best BBQ lists. We were pretty disappointed by the food which was a shame because I would have loved to leave a really positive review. First of all, we asked for the meat (turkey and brisket) to be hot and when it came out, it was colder than room temperature. It was already a chilly, dreary day so that wasn't pleasant. The turkey...calling it moist would be an understatement. It was almost as if water was sprinkled on top of it which wasn't appealing considering the meat was cold. The BBQ sauce was decent but it couldn't make up for the lackluster turkey and brisket. Maybe this was just an off day but after that experience, I can't say I could recommend this place.

Way off the beaten path. Brisket, ribs, and sausage were definitely worthy of Texas Monthly Top 50 designation. Also, great service!

This place is off the beaten path. In fact, we drove right past it by over five miles before we realized our mistake. Chalk it up to three guys talking BBQ nonstop and not paying attention very well. It's not really in Hearne proper, but a few miles east, closer to a little community called Edge, TX, which may or may not be on your maps. Knowing that it's at the corner of OSR and Macey Rd. will help you find it. Owner Matt Moon was away for the day, but Toni greeted us at the counter and took our order for some moist brisket and a couple ribs. One of the things that first caught our eye at Blue Moon BBQ is their Cowboy Cornbread, described on their menu as "chopped brisket, tomatoes, chilies and onions, stirred up in cornbread, cooked in a cast iron skillet then covered in cheese." We had to have one. Every bite was delicious. If I could make a pillow out of this just so I could eat it all night, I would. Matt's father, Rick Moon, running the pits on this day, checked up on us before we left to be sure the product was to our liking. It was. The brisket was tender and had a unique rub that provided a flavorful bark, and their baby back ribs had a nice glaze with a little spice. When we asked for other recommendations, Toni suggested that we try one of her bacon brownies, so we finished this visit by splitting a piece three ways. What a great bite--slightly chewy brownie, with a healthy amount of diced cooked bacon embedded in the surface prior to baking. The result was a perfect balance of savory and sweet, with the salt of the bacon providing just the right complement for the sweet chocolate brownie. It's a dessert I wouldn't normally try, but I'm glad I did, and we all went back and each bought another one to take home. We agreed this was a great visit, and with their very tasty brisket at just $13.45/lb, one of the best values by far for quality BBQ on the trail. Make Blue Moon BBQ a destination priority on your list of great places to try.

We ordered and got our food within 10mins of being there. All was so delicious, the brisket, the pork shoulder, sausages were amazing, ribs 10/10. The sauce was just so yummy! Potato salad was a hit and the banana pudding cannot be skipped! Plenty of seating, all outside and under covering. Classic bbq ambiance! Just loved it all!! Snow's is a real treat and lives up to the hype! Got to meet Ms Tootsie too!! You gotta visit!!

Arrived around 9am and there was about 60 people in line. We ordered a lot of stuff for a group of ten people. The pork steak, chicken, brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, reg sausage, pork ribs. The sides were bbq beans, potato salad, Cole slaw. And also came with white bread, onions, pickles, and jalapenos. The pork steak was incredible! I've never had pork steak like that before. The brisket was nice and fatty. The potato salad reminded me of grade school in a good way. I got a photo with tootsie as well. What a great bbq experience. Recommendation: pork steak, brisket, and chicken

Best BBQ in College Station - Worth Every Mile! If you're…read morelooking for authentic Texas pit barbecue done right, Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que in College Station is the real deal. I brought the whole family and we left stuffed, happy, and already planning our next visit. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect smoky bark, and the burnt ends were absolute heaven, crispy, and packed with flavor. The sides were just as impressive: creamy, cheesy mac n' cheese that felt like a hug in a bowl, rich twice-baked potatoes loaded with all the good stuff, hearty beans with just the right sweetness and smoke, and everything complemented the meat beautifully. Save room for dessert because they do those right too. The banana pudding was silky, nostalgic perfection, and the cobblers were warm, fruity, and topped with that flaky crust and Blue Bell Vanilla Ice Cream that makes you want seconds. The service was outstanding and genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in. The staff made us feel welcome and took great care of our large group. The restaurant itself is fantastic , spacious indoor and outdoor seating, plus party rooms that make it ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, rehearsal dinners etc...or just a big Sunday lunch. Cooper's nailed every part of the experience: incredible food, warm hospitality, and a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. This is Texas BBQ at its finest. We'll be back soon! I highly recommend bringing the whole crew! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

I thought the prices were in line with today's BBQ prices. Really friendly staff overall and packaged the food nicely.
