Waited almost 2 hours for our food that just so happened to be brought to our table when we finally decided to walk out. No explanation from the servers, nothing. Place is filthy with sticky tables and cups. And, there was vomit all over the parking lot. Disgusting. read more

Nice beer selection foe a sports bar, they had Magic Hat, DFH 60 min, a few Sam Adams... The wings were just ok not crispy like I like them I ate 7 of the dozen I ordered. It used to be the Blue Lagoon, but for some crazy reason they painted it yellow. The atmosphere has changed drastically and I miss the pool tables as well. Friends of ours have ranted about the food here for a while. They invited us to dinner this last weekend and we looked forward to discovering a great place to eat in Highlands County. We arrived at around 6:30pm on Sunday afternoon. The place was packed. However, we barely came through the door when a staff member immediately informed us that they were closing in 1 hour and last call for food and drink was at 7PM. Ok. no problem. We sit at the table and no less than two more staff members made a special trip to come tell us the same thing. Mind you, no one welcomed us, just came by to warn us of their closing in an hour. At this point we were beginning to feel as if we were intruding on their space. The waitress finally came by to see what we'd like to drink and one of us asked if they close this early every Sunday or if they were closing for the holidays. She said, no, that it was a private party. She proceeded to take our order. I asked for wings and THEN she decided it would be a good time to say they were out. My husband suggested chicken strips as an alternative to which she also said they were out. So I ordered a sandwich. We all ordered beer got our drinks in not too long of a wait. They then delivered our food, all but mine, and disappeared. They rang the last call bell at 7 and came by to take my friends drink order and disappeared again. After about 10 more minutes mine finally came out (a "Freighter" their name for a Philly cheesesteak) and asked if we needed anything to which I was about to ask for mayo and my friend said "yes, can I have my beer?" And she was told curtly, no, last call has already passed. When my friend said she HAD ordered it at the last call she said with irritation, "Who took your order?" And then took off to search out to verify if we were lying. I never got to ask for the mayo. After another several minutes, they finally brought her beer and I could ask for the mayo. Several minutes later my mayo came and now my sandwich was all but ice cold. It tasted good, not great, but good. May have been great but between the hostile attitude, slow service and food temperature it was a less than impressive first impression. After a while someone, I have no idea who she was or what her position was, came by to say she was sorry mine took so long, the cook just didn't see it on the ticket. I understand things go wrong and people are fallible so "Perfect" service is rare. But a multitude of mistakes are far more easily overlooked with FRIENDLY service and polite attention. NEITHER of which were present in our first visit. Finally, 7:30 came around and we were made to feel the "get out" pressure even though they said differently and evidently the hoard that was there also felt the pressure as there was a mass exodus within like 3 minutes of 7:30. And since no one was coming IN for the "private party" I can only assume this was an employee party. That's ok, we get it. But that's no reason to make paying customers (you know, the ones who keep the job relevant so you can HAVE a company party) feel like they're "crashing" a party or imposing on you just because they heard it was a "great place to eat." We MAY give it another try when the holidays are over, but we'll see. Can't say we'll hurry back if we do. read more

I am a local been in several times always hard to get service at the bar even when the place is close to empty. Went in this evening and sat down and could not get service people came in after me and sat down and got service pretty quickly. After waiting about seven minutes I finally got up and left.Exception is when Britney is working then I can get service fairly quickly. The food is fairly marginal except for the shrimp scampi which is pretty good. I won't be going back in again. read more

Eat there all the time, usually very good. last time was terrible. You almost had to beg to get service. We had a thin tattooed server who was extremely rude. Asked for a beer and brought a bucket. Said that was what we ordered. We ordered another round , not a bucket. We did pay for the bucket, but left with the beer still in the bucket.. Will go again, but if we get the same server, we will just leave.. won't be back.. And I hate that, because it is usually a good place to go. read more

Checked this place out with a friend who made the recommendation. We ordered a few different drinks, some potatoe skins, fish tacos, and a dozen of their specialty jumbo wings. The mixed drinks (Cosmo and Bahama Mama) were bland and tasted off. I had a Magic Hat beer and their tap seemed fine. The potatoe skins were good but basically the same as anywhere. The fish tacos were really good and the fish was flavorful and in the form of full chunks of dense white meat. The fish tacos also came with chips and salsa which were delicious with the salsa standing out as a high light. The wings on the other hand were severely under cooked with portions of raw meat and spots of raw blood. Needless to say we stopped eating, alerted the wait staff, and made a complaint. We received a very sincere apology as well as a comp to our bill which basically took off the drinks, the wings, and an additional percentage just because they took responsibility as a stand up business. Despite the poorly mixed drinks and the undercooked chicken wings, I was content with the rest of the food and the atmosphere. However, I would have to say that this spot is a bar first and a restaurant second so be prepared for that despite their full menu. Hang out, drink, share some appetizers, and enjoy! read more

This is my local "go to" place. The wings are big enough that I never order more than six. The mahi nuggets are great. Best fried pickles I've had. Beer is always icy cold. But the best thing is the service. The all female bartenders are friendly, professional and not tacky or flirty. Very fast, attentive service. If you are alone, avoid the chains, pull up a stool at the bar and you will likely find someone there to become your newest friend. read more

Decent drought beer selection, several Florida craft breweries. Reasonable food, although I doubt the kitchen was ever designed to do as much food sales as they do, so don't be in a rush. Waitresses are usually pretty decent at making sure there is cold beer in your cup; don't expect to be able use the TouchTunes jukebox like and hour or so before any sports event--even the employees don't understand this management decision. read more

Yes this is possibly the only place I went to Sebring where the average age was under 55. If you are in Sebring possibly visiting grandparents, and are looking to get a drink after 8:30 this is your place. Pretty cool bar good selection of beers on tap. This bar is consistently packed with locals-usually a good sign. I have only sat at the bar on my visits, where food and beverage service was prompt. The prices are pretty standard, as is the food. Service is almost exclusively handled by women employees, who are pleasant. Keep in mind the drinking restrictions on Sundays in this county, with alcohol purchases only available after 12pm. read more

This is the place the locals go for a laid back, fun atmosphere with amazing food! The smothered fries appetizer is the best, and they by far have the best chicken quesadilla I've had anywhere across the U.S. Their know for their chicken wings, and they deliver in that category, too.
