I've been here 5+ times and each time my food has been cold. Burger, chicken sandwich, fries, they all taste like cafeteria food that's been sitting under a warmer for hours on end. Once we went back to ask for fresh fries, and they came back with the same exact ones that were cold, just in a new bag. I wanted Bluejay burger for my birthday because the last time I got it a few months back it was really good. I don't know if they're under new management or what's going on, but I got a California burrito for myself a double cheeseburger for my wife and a regular cheeseburger for my son. The burrito was extremely greasy the cheese inside of it when I took a bite was hard like as if it had been sitting overnight and then my wife and son's burgers were undercooked and raw. So, I drove all the way back to return it and get my money back and the guys there questioned me and made me sit through them, opening it and questioning me and acting like there was nothing wrong with the food and I eventually got to the point where I told them that I don't know how long you guys have been in customer service industry, but it's extremely unprofessional to sit here and make me go through all this after I already am upset and had to drive back for the food. Well I was hopeful for this place unfortunately all my order came out wrong I ask for no 1000 island no onions add bacon, add ketchup and I didn't get any of those. Luckily the taste saved it and for that reason I will be back and I'll just have to check the order before i leave next time just sucks paying a extra dollar for something i didnt get. Hopefully next time they will do better. And whats with the add lettuce like 5 times, i didnt ask for extra lettuce. I give it a 2 star mostly for the convenience of having a drive through, but their hamburgers are subpar compared to a place like cedar glen malt shop, and Blue jay burgers charges more for their burgers but noticeable low quality ingredients. Its 10$-12$ per combo which is a bit expensive for the poor quality. I read the reviews before coming here and I kept my expectations very low and it matched my experience. While I had not been given cold fries, I was really disappointed with the quality of the burger meat, and it was a bit disturbing to see there were no char marks, which most burgers have. Milk shake was average and so were the fries, maybe ok for a stop but I wouldn't go here just for the food. read more

I don't usually post reviews, but I was so annoyed after picking up food from this place I wanted to let others know. I have now ordered from them twice and both times they got my order wrong. I am gluten free and also can't eat raw onions. I told them this. First time, there were onions on my veggie burger. Last night, when I ordered she asked if I wanted the grilled chicken or the breaded one. Seriously? I had just told her I was gluten free. When I picked up my order it was on a bun. It was supposed to be lettuce wrapped. My husband had asked for grilled onions on his burger and there were none. They also didn't give us our fries we paid for. I won't be going back. Been here several times trying to give this place a chance but it is honestly hit and miss. Sometimes they are spot on and the burgers and fries are great, other times the burger tastes like they haven't cleaned the grill or the fryer for the fries. Sometimes all of my food items are in my bag, sometimes I'm missing things and it's not worth the drive back or to wait in line again. I was really hoping for a great burger place up here especially since it is the only drive through, but it's not worth the line most of the time. It was good the first two months I would say and then something changed, now it is inconsistent. If you want good food it's a 50/50 chance. I love supporting local businesses so it sucks to have to say this because I really did want to support them, but I can't take the chance that I might get good food. read more

Where do I start? This place is tasty but it is rarely open when I try to go. They close early and open late. The employees were rude when I asked why they were closed early. My daughter says it's on par with MPH cafeteria burger. Fries are always luke warm. This place just opened, but some things are basic. I went through the drive through and ordered a burger with no tomato (noted on the receipt) and grilled onions (not noted on the receipt). I got a tomato slice and ungrilled onions. I can only assume that the cashier was distracted by the other woman in the booth holding a baby. Has to be some kind of health code violation there! When the food is prepared optimally, this is an A- establishment. Good not great, but certainly better than a lot of other options up the mountain. The reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 4 is due to the inconsistency of food prep. There are clearly a few detail-oriented employees and a few bored teenagers just waiting to get off the clock. Who prepares your food will go a long way to determining your experience. I have ordered the "Aloha Chicken Sandwich" three times. The first time it was perfect and a surprisingly delicious dish. The second time there was no pineapple, which kind of ruins the dish. The third time there was no pineapple, AND excessively thick slices of onion, AND way too much sauce that drenched the bun and made it soggy before I was even halfway done eating (and I eat fast). Went the other night at around 9:40 and they were clearly rushing to close up. I am glad I called ahead because when I rolled up at 9:47, they'd already put a cone in the drive-thru and were clearly just closing up shop, even though stated hours have the place closing at 10:00. I wasn't able to order fries with my burger because they had already shut down the fryer to start cleaning--unclear if this is a managerial decision or just employees cutting corners. I think the manager's name is Christine or something, and she seems super cool and very professional, and p. sure she was not there at the time. So I don't know, but I'm inclined to assume some corners were being cut by aforementioned disaffected teenagers. Oh, and my burger was not cooked through--kind of expected this, too, because it was all of 4 minutes from placing the order to being served my food, and how can you fully cook a patty in that time? You can't. I ate it because I had nothing else to eat and was too hungry. My wiser and more prudent girlfriend shook her head at me and made insinuations about food poisoning, which luckily I avoided. Another time we paid extra for avocado and got a tiny swipe of green stuff on one corner of our burger. Also the fries were served more or less room temperature. Idk. For $7 per sandwich I expect far more consistent quality control and something of a "gourmet" burger experience, which is not what I've experienced thus far. Sorry guys I'm not impressed. The ingredients are above average quality and the concept is good, but you really need to be pickier about who you hire. To close on a positive note, once again, shout out to the nice manager lady who did offer to take care of me next time I come by. She seems legit! read more

For that price, it better be the best burger I've ever had in my entire life but the burger is complete hole in the wall fast food average at absolute best. The meat didn't have a char, which helps with flavor, so it was a little bland. It looked good when I first unwrapped the basic double cheeseburger, but the meat itself didn't impress. Omg...got the most disgusting sandwich here. It was a blue jay chicken burger. Sauce was gross on it. The chicken was inedible.
