We had a pool built in 2022. The process started great and getting the pool built was a great experience with the person who oversaw the project and was onsite. Post-pool build follow-up service has been terrible. Our "contact" will tell us, "We are on the list," but it is never communicated when they will show up. When I ask for a specific date, there is no response. Again, as for the pool building process, they are amazing but if you appreciate great customer service after spending $100K+, don't expect much from the Charlotte office. read more

We recently moved into a house that had a pool installed by Blue Haven in 2018. The pool is absolutely beautiful!! We ended up having to replace a few stones (this was at zero fault of Blue Haven, they broke due to accidents) and they were so helpful at helping find and supply the correct replacement stones and even gave us the stones at no cost! We researched several pool construction companies before selecting Blue Haven. We chose them because they were responsive in the initial stages and had fantastic reviews. However, our experience was a far cry from the rave Google reviews we saw. From A to Z, this project was a mess. They made numerous mistakes that cost our project time and money, and they turned my pool into a concrete dumpster to house dirty pipes for four months. I requested that they not use those pipes in the construction, as they have been sitting out in the elements for four months, and they used them anyway. They mismeasured several times and they ended up pouring the pool without the swim-up kitchen. Just mistake after mistake and excuses to match. I am very dissatisfied with the level of service we received and would absolutely not recommend Blue Haven to anyone. read more

We knew a pool renovation would be necessary so for a couple years we joined a pool site for ideas. We heard multiple horror stories about pool builders so when our pool completely quit, we were not excited about going through the pool build process. However, with BlueHaven, we did NOT experience a horror story. In fact, it was much smoother, quicker, and better than we had anticipated. The communication was delayed starting out due to our sales guy being sick. After initiating a contract, we were given a great construction manger (Matt) to kick us off then our project manager (Dale) took over and he was top notch so smooth sailing from there. He was on top of things and addressed all questions and concerns that came up over time as the pool was being built. We were terrified of the selection process as we don't always agree on colors/styles, but the selection lady (Michelle) was patient and thorough in showing us all the options along with giving ideas. Through the process we had no major issues concerning Blue Haven. We had a couple minor hiccups with a contractor, but Dale quickly resolved them. Overall, we are very pleased with the process and our pool is better than we had even envisioned. We highly recommend BlueHaven and should we ever need another pool, BlueHaven will be our first call. read more

He was always able and willing to answer my calls and text and I felt comfortable asking him anything. He showed up often and kept me updated via the buildertrend app, phone calls and texts. Anytime I questioned something or wanted a minor change he already was on top of it and one step ahead of it. With a big purchase like a pool, I needed to have a relationship with the company and it's people I chose. Working with Dustin and David there was alway a comfortablity with them! David actual had wonderful ideas and I made changes based on his recommendations! David shines with his Communication skills, leadership ability , and management of his team. David is up to date on the latest trends in the industry, and he exhibits a solid understanding and expertise of the pool industry! With that being said, he has made me feel secure in my decision to go with Blue Haven Pools, I have and will continue to reccommend them. If you're interested in an in-ground pool, I would definitely recommend Blue Haven. I would also recommend budgeting an additional $15k-$20k, depending on the size of your pool, in the event of the excavation crew hitting soft soil during Dig Day. I was one of the lucky ones who required the installation of caissons to support the weight of the pool. I hired Aqua Shop as a pool maintenance company about a year ago and they have been BY FAR the best pool maintenance company that we've used... (and we've used about a 1/2 dozen). They are prompt, professional and do good work. If you're looking for a quality pool maintenance company with people who seem to care - Aqua Shop is the way to go. Then, a few months ago, we needed a full system replacement (filter, pump, heater, etc...) and they knocked that out quickly, on time and professionally. They worked with us on budget and parts and we're extremely happy with the quality of work they did. It was within budget, on time and done right. I can't recommend Blue Haven and Aqua Shop.
