So Blake came up with a solution that gives us a pretty large door to get my husband's truck in and out of without an ugly gap at the bottom. We did splurge on the gates and the doors so that we could get a design that we like (we are big fans of the star/Americana style). So our gates and our doors were custom-made. We also went with the board on board fence because it just looks nice. And we went with exposed post. Our neighbor down the street has exposed posts and it just looked really good.
